  1. Not getting married for a while yet so he has years to change, as do I. There are things I could work on, like not taking things to heart so much or caring too much when only he will bear the consequences of his silly decisions in the end. Don't hold your breath :P People change slowly over time, yeah, but within the context of relationships that change usually isn't favorable.
  2. What kind of darts do you guys use for slayer?
  3. I personally don't have a problem with skills being made easier to train with these shooting stars and all that stuff. I am a man which does more than just play RuneScape, I usually just play RuneScape when I'm not working on a video. Which happens a lot. But a lot of times I am working on a video therefore not playing RuneScape, so it's convenient that I can train skills more easily now. Im not making a point about skills being easier, just the result that occurs from it. A lot of players seek and desire respect/attention or competition in Runescape. With the way the game has developed, accomplishments are common and the joy short lived before players attempt to tackle a new more challenging obstacle (don't forget though, thousands have already done it!) With the standards rising more and more, which is only natural for a game so old, it's harder for people to step up to the plate and make any kind of impact on the community. Yes I know not all players seek the same sensations as others, but in the broad sense of the community most players do, and Jagex is the one profiting off it. Allowing players to buy their way up, setting incredulous, official methods to get attention (true final boss, trimmed comp) I guess I would change my original statement that the entirety of Runescape is becoming devalued. Oops typing at work too much g2g If you're playing in order to impress others, then investing your time in stats/XP has always been a losing strategy with a very poor return on your investment. Skills are doomed to become easier and easier as time goes on. Combat skills (both the stats themselves and a player's actual skill during combat) are really the only thing that are guaranteed to remain relevant till RS dies. When the first elite achievement diary came out in 2009 and it had a 75 runecrafting requirement, there was no way in hell I wanted to train runecrafting to 75 just for the diary. So I never trained runecrafting, under the assumption that someday there would be a very simple and tolerable way to train runecrafting. Lo and behold, a few years later the Runespan is released and I'm a happy camper :D Meanwhile thousands of players are somehow shocked and upset that a new method of training one of the game's most tedious skills is finally released after all these years.
  4. This. So much this. I don't like PKing; I don't like risk-based PvP. I don't especially like safe PvP either (like, castle wars and soul wars), but it can be okay. I suspect that, even if I invested the time and energy into learning how to be good at it, I still wouldn't like it. I definitely don't want to invest that much more energy just to be able to continue slaying (a normally non-PvP activity) without penalty. I don't think that's an unreasonable stance to have. Ehh I don't think it's fair to say you dislike something without actually putting in a decent effort to learn it first. Everybody has a tendency to dislike things that they're bad at, after all.
  5. Is the blowpipe the best DPS for slayer or would the (standard) whip be better?

Well his most recent post is when he tried to basically argue that every man who tries to talk to women is doomed with an inevitable false rape accusation and so we all might as well quit trying to date women and become celibate for the rest of our lives. He never bothered to reply to any of the counterarguments presented to him, presumably because they all made his rationalizations about avoiding women look silly.
  7. 99% of players used rune because they had 45 defense..........Most people used rune over barrows, even at around 110 combat. I was a maxed tank and finding people with barrows armor was pretty uncommon. Edit: most of my opponents wore similar gear as this poor guy that I beat up. People with barrows gear like me didn't like to skull :P
  8. IDK all my herbs are from NMZ :P
  9. IIRC herb cleaning was one of the training methods that became viable as soon as the GE was introduced, however it didn't take long for everyone to find out about it and ruin it
  10. Last time I checked herblore's profitable and 100k+ xp/hr just by cleaning herbs instead of making potions. Though I won't be surprised if that training method will no longer be feasible after GE is released
  11. Lol he's like the EOC version of someone who trains in NMZ :D
  12. Yeah I refuse to bother making money way in any way except for NMZ herb boxes and MTK. When I'm "actively" playing, then I'll do herb runs too sometimes because they're a fun and easy 2M/day. Making money in any other way just seems like a massive waste of time. MTK + Herb boxes averages out to like 9M/hr lol. IIRC the top skillers are opposed to herb boxes and AFKing though. Ironic that the most efficient players dismiss the most efficient methods :P
  13. I saw that one of the elite Lumbridge/Draynor tasks requires a quest cape. The only quest I've had missing for a very long time was Devious Minds, so I got a runecrafting level and a few smithing levels today and got my cape. I was worried that in the future Jagex may introduce a new high level quest which I don't meet the requirements for, and I'd prefer to complete the diary task before such a quest is ever released while I can still wear the cape :P
  14. That's impressive, what are you spending your NMZ points on? I've thought about AFKing beyond 99 just for more herb boxes, but I maxed out a few months ago and I still haven't even used half of my points on herb boxes yet lol.
  15. I beat Majora's Mask on my N64 about a week or two ago. Love all the symbolism and shit in that game. Makes me want to write my own theory on the game's messages
  16. Trust me nobody cares about that shit as much as you do lol. People are too busy worrying about their own self-image
  17. You have a very odd definition of "realistic"

Let's all calm down and be rational about what he should do here. Noxx I think you should bang their mom twice, then not call her afterwards and then turn yourself gay to bang their dad too and bang him so well that he becomes gay too and he has to change his lifestyle and leave his family to pursue you, and then eventually you run out on him and go to a Christian turn-you-not-gay place and return to him and be like, "OH WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU QUEER?!" and make him feel bad and confused. I think that's fair. Also if you understood the reference you get a gold star
  19. Yeah go see a professional ASAP
  20. Up to sets of 165 now. Still weigh 120 lbs, not sure why I haven't gone back up to 125 yet. Oh well. Did 5 sets of 3 reps w/ 165 tonight. Could've done 5 reps on my first set probably, but I didn't want to risk it since I wasn't being spotted. Next time I'll attempt 5 sets of 4-5 reps with 165. I'm about as strong as I was back in college now; theoretical 1 rep max is 1.6x my bodyweight. I need to be able to do 5 reps of ~200 to be strong enough to bench 2x
  21. IME the sad reality of the world is that the more capable you are of going cold blooded at will, the happier and more satisfying your life will be (e.g. having no qualms about eliminating people from your life if they're making you unhappy). In other words, sometimes being nice and being happy are mutually exclusive and you've gotta choose one or the other. And happiness is always the better option.
  22. 24 hours of in-game time w/o being able to trade is a really really long time lol
  23. I have zero experience with stalkers
