"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
I'd rather view the "no regrets" thing as having learned something out of the experience... ideally such that you won't have the same "regrettable" problems in the future.

Skills Pointless?
Skilling started becoming pointless after skill capes. Then God Wars came out which made skilling for money obsolete when PvM blew it out of the water. Was better to just camp at GWD bosses then spend the profits on consumables rather than DIY.

What makes you say that? I can't really think of how it could be considered rational from that perspective

Am I the only one who doesn't give a shit about RS lore? >_> hahaha I was wondering if I was the only one distracted by that

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
No, according to society, being a slut means having sex with many people, even if you're being responsible about it. And I say that's bs

being trashy or irresponsible doesn't make you a slut. it makes you trashy and irresponsible. a "slut" is simply someone who has sex with many people... and there's nothing wrong with that.

Dat irrational slut shaming. Is it entirely irrational to think that someone looking for a serious committed relationship might balk at someone who is clearly not used to long-term monogamy? No, i agree with you there. I was trying to say that there's nothing wrong with being a slut as long as youre responsible about it. I think most people believe that being a slut is always bad and unjustifiable

Yes, that's because it's brand new. You need to understand that these feelings are temporary and that things will be very different when you consider them long-term.

I don't think you understand. That ship has sailed. You were supposed to make those decisions when you were rational and unbiased, not when you're lovestruck. This suggests that you're afraid of getting back into the dating world, which means you're more likely to do stupid things or tolerate a shitty relationship because you'd rather be comfortably unhappy than be single.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Alright, well have fun being emotionally devastated when your relationship falls apart because you refused to plan ahead and chose to put all your eggs in one basket. Again, if you're smart about this, you plan things long-term with your happiness in mind. If you choose not to, and instead do what you're advocating, then you'll end up like our friend RpgGamer. :P I'm not saying you plan when to fall in love; that's basically impossible. I'm saying structure your life and set up some god damn standards for yourself so that when you fall in love, you don't start making insane decisions and sacrificing your happiness just for the sake of irrationally protecting a relationship that isn't making you any happier.

In other news... some random girl from a bar added me on FB a while back. Her recent status update: Dat irrational slut shaming.

Being a pessimist isn't always the solution. Just like playing only defensive soccer doesn't score you any goals. I dunno, I just think there is a balance to not put so much trust and investment in a relationship, especially if it's LDR, but on the flip side, relationships need both of those things to last, so that advice can only go so far. That's not being pessimistic, that's being realistic. When it comes to LDRs (or any sort of relationship for that matter, but LDRs especially), you must consider the opportunity cost of it. As far as Gabe goes, keep in mind that he's still in the irrationally optimistic Disney stage of the relationship and will probably remain that way for at least the next six months or so :P

It's not necessarily because you're in a relationship, it's because there's other women in your life ;)

Why not? What's wrong with that? But yeah, given how deeply-invested into this girl you seem to be, I predict heartbreak in the future >_>

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
http://sourcefednews...er-gropes-fans/ Look into the sunglasses of the boy who will molest your future daughter. I can almost guarantee that, just like any sort of paparazzi tabloid trash news, this is taken out of context and spun in a negative light towards him. I can also almost guarantee that there's a ton of Bieber fans out there who would kill to have him grope them like that. Regardless, what exactly does that have to do with his "talent" that you were irrationally attacking earlier? Seems like you're just looking for reasons to hate him.

Maxed Players Banned (500m - 2.1bil total xp)
Because real life is not anywhere near as easy or straightforward as Runescape. Runescape is about reading easy-to-access and free guides and then repeating some monotonous action. Even Staking, is grinding (the most common strategy, the Martingale, is at least), you read a guide, and then you master ping and stuff and you just hope for good luck. That's all there is to it. Real life is far more complex. Also, it's a lot easier to commit to "work" in RS than "work" in RL.

Old School RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds!
Can you explaing how you do this? I am a noob at RS and want to make some fast cash :P http://web.archive.org/web/20080709140603/http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=manage_thy_kingdom.htm It's only "fast" with regards to time spent playing RS. For example, I log onto RS, click on a tree to keep approval high, then log off. Takes less than a minute. Then after a couple months of this, I spend maybe 1-2 hours selling the resources I've collected. Total time spent on RS: about two hours Total profit: around 9M Total time taken: a couple of months Compared to runecrafting nats or something for 9M, assuming 300k/hr... Total time spent on RS: 30 hours Total profit: around 9M Total time taken: 30 hours Since I'd rather spend my time on RL goals than RS goals, I choose the option which minimizes time spent on RS :P
