I am on Jagex's side on this matter. Most of the images and videos of people with over a few thousand boots were all faked using a memory modifier. This was just a client side hack. The server keeps track of who has what and checks when you try to alch/sell/buy items and always resets your current supply. When Mod Mark said the max account had a few thousand boots, he knows. Jagex can see who has what because of their database system. They can do something like: JagQry("Climbing Boots", sort:high) and it would bring a list of people having climbing boots and the amount they have.

I was always the shy guy in high-school. I just went to school, did my studies, went home and chilled. Right after I graduated I met this girl I went to high school with in World of Warcraft. We got to know each other better while taking part in instances and doing quests together over a four-month time-period. Now we are dating and having a wonderful relationship. We also work at the same McDonald's. Confession: Playing RS makes me more immature. I am trying really hard to be mature, but the environment and in-game community dissipates any progress I make. I have just basically turn off all of my chats and talk to people in Runescape in ventrilo/skype/teamspeak or a messenger client. Regret: I wish I was more social. Playing World of Warcraft has improved my social skills ironically. Secret: I own every season of Star Trek Voyager, TNG, Stargate SG1, as well as every Star Wars movie. Basically, I am a super geek. :geek: :geek: :geek:

I would have to work a second job to pay for college. I have tried and tried to convince my dad to cover some of the fees and tuition regardless, but he is homophobic apparently. I kind of want to get away from my dad anyway. I have had problems with him since middle school (Grade 6).

I am having an issue. I want to move to Columbus, OH, and live with my Uncle while attending a college nearby (mainly to get out of the rural area and get to an area which has jobs in the field I am looking into). The only problem is that my Uncle is homosexual. My dad will not pay for any of my college if I move to my uncle's house. I am straight, but don't really have a problem living with a homosexual person. He owns a three-storied house and lives alone and he said I could get the finished basement to myself (has kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, a living room, etc). So what should I do? If I stay here, I will miss out on several job opportunities, go to s cruddy university/college, gain high blood-pressure from dealing with my dad , and have a heart attack and die at age 30 :rolleyes: . If I move in with my uncle, I will piss off my dad, but I will have a chance at getting a good education and having a good life. I pay $100.00 rent living with my parents and I would if I was living with my uncle as well. My dad has some crazy mindset that I will change my sexual orientation if I was to live with someone of a different sexual orientation than myself. Thank you in advanced for reading this.

Thank you Administrators, staff, and the community as a whole, for doing such a great job and keeping the forums a great place! :thumbsup: For the 5 or so years I have been using these forums, I have noticed an improvement over the moderation and forum's maturity. I remember when I would see a spammer/gold seller ad/keylogger link at least 3/5 days when I visited General Discussion. Now the moderators are quick to take down any posts. I remember topics which asked users to post their exhibitionism and other risque topics. Those have no place for a forum like this. I can't wait for Jagex to start sharing art concepts and taking part in interviews from us.

Today I started working on my game engine. I am working on the preloader applet right now. Here is a draft image of the background for the loader: I will add better graphics eventually (A better lamp thing, a hand-drawn title, etc). In the center I will have a custom progress bar, very similar to the Runescape one. It will tell what it is loading and the progress of it. For example, it will say "Loading Graphics - 50%". Example: It will dynamically get the size of each file/class which needs to be loaded then calculate percentage complete. After this is complete, I will work on the model loader and terrain loader. By next summer I might have something I could release. Now I am going to go to work, will get home at around 2:00AM my time (Currently 7:20pm).

This quest seems interesting. I will check it out.

I would love to see Jagex create an instance dungeon like Godwars. Each instance would contain a series of creatures which would compliment the number of players as well as the players' combat levels followed by a high level boss. . There would be a interface which would display information such as the players kills,deaths, time running, etc. Drops could include the aforementioned.

I bought an a+ cert study guide off of Amazon and it came the next day using their free shipping. Today I reorganized my computer desk setup. The pictures are located here. I am going to do about 10-20 barrow chests in Runescape today then work on my game engine.

My goals are to get all 90+ melee stats, 85 slayer, and 80+ summoning. I will train melee through slayer and use the charms to get summoning. I just need to get attack and defense up (Beth are 85). I have 87 days of membership to do it with :).

I agree that some posters are obnoxious, but yet they add a personality to the forums. Where would all of the fun be if everyone was super serious when posting? This is a game geared towards 13-16 year old people which means not everyone will be super mature and whatnot.

When I lived in Oklahoma, I saw maybe 8-10 tornadoes in person a year. My uncle chased storms so I got to see a lot of the good, bad, and ugly.

Haha, we're opposites. I prefer Coke from the can and Dr. Pepper from a bottle. Most of the Dr. Pepper I drink is from restaurants that don't have Coke products though. I prefer Mountain Dew altogether. I have about 5 hours until I have to go to work. I am debating doing some programming, or playing Runescape. I just saw that the federal govt. is suing Arizona over its immigration issue. I just realized that us tax payers are covering the costs of the ordeal.

Dell laptops are good, but some models overheat easily. Acer is the same way. Asus is a little steep on prices, but good quality, and hp has a lot of unnecessary programs (crap ware). Just keep this in mind: You get what you pay for.
