Today at work we lost power, the whole city did actually. After about 30 minutes we noticed a gas smell and the air was hazy as well. We called the fire dept. up and the CO level was beyond dangerous. Three crew and I scored a free ride to the hospital via ambulance. The oxygen they gave us was fun. When the power came back on, I got a text from a coworker saying a huge fireball came from the fryers and blew out three windows as well as cracked a few more, because of the pilot light igniting the gas. I got my paycheck. I worked 97 hours in two weeks (17 hours over time pay) :) I used that overtime to buy some stuff (see below). After my parents dropping my car off at the hospital and leaving, I stopped by walmart and got: My account got hacked and I got tired of recovering it so I bought new crap. MLIA.

I used the new downloadable client and changed a few settings on my nvidia card.

4 cans of monster + two redlines. I just got in from work at 5:48. I worked the grills today since the kid who was supposed to do it rage quit. He said "[bleep] you guys, [bleep] McDonald's, I quit". I nearly passed out on grills. It is 93 Fahrenheit outside + 400 degree heat coming off grills + water shortage. Time to kill some nubs in combat arms. Well, 40 hours in 4 days :) I still have until Wed to get hours in. I have tomorrow off THANK GOD. Then I am scheduled for 12 more hours Tuesday. I can;t wait until I make more than $10.00 an hour. Quick question: How long do most people spend working at McDonalds? Because I'm trying to find a job but only have about a month and a half at this point before I leave for school and I think that wouldn't be worth it for most jobs. I've been working here a month and I've seen four people join and three or four more quit. I've read that anywhere between 2-6 months is the average employment time for a crew and 8+ for managers and crew trainers. McDonald's is real flexible with hours. You can work 1-7pm one day then 9AM - 12 PM the next. If you will be going to college, they cover $250.00 of your books. It isn't much, but it helps.

I worked 13 hours yesterday and I closed as well. I didn't get home until 3:00AM and I am supposed to work at 9:00AM (in 35 minutes). I work 13 hours today =/

I feel like I belong in Europe. When I first went there, I felt more attached to everything then I have in America. I have a few relatives in London so I have some ties with Europe.

I called blizzard to recover my World of Warcraft account today. After holding on the phone for 1 hour and 23 minutes, I get a representative. Then, my dog jumps in my lap, resulting in me dropping the cell phone and ending the call RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Now I still don't have access to my wow account and I wasted 1.5 hours of my life listening to holding music and some chick tell me random account security facts.

I also feel that if I am going to distribute a file of someone's video, they should at least know about it since they put hard work into producing it. I am sure you can find it on youtube somewhere. Nearly every popular video gets copied then re-uploaded from a different user so they get subs/views/popularity. Next time, please don't be so rude. reality check. this is the internet after all. Its no different then requesting something in real life. I have ties which will allow me to contact him quickly if I did have the video on hand. Its just simple courtesy.

I had all of his RS videos on my 16Gig flashdrive which was stolen so I can't get them for you. Even if I still had the video, I would still need permission from Maxboison himself to distribute it.

A good place to look is internships at the IT departments of actual cities. My brother worked at one, sixteen dollars an hour and amazing experience - he's going into a Computer Science degree now at Texas Tech. The only downside was that it's around 20 hours a week, so that's just barely enough to live on. But you're paying low rent, and your uncle sounds like a cool guy. Yeah he is an IT for an insurance company or something like that. He has 24MB internet :thumbsup:. ' I am also getting a Computer Science degree, but if I could find an internship for 16 an hour only 20 hours a week, I could see if I could get a second job for another 20 hours. I will look into this.

You have to pay your parents rent?? Damn. P.S. Are you going to attend THE Ohio State University? Nope, can't afford it. After thinking it over for a few days, I have decided to look for a full-time job and move to Columbus. I would rather provide for my future family/self instead of wishing I could by choosing to stay with my parents. My mom fully supports me, but my dad still needs to take some midol and chill. He was yelling at me about how I will never succeed if I move away. That really pissed me off. He was just a factory worker his whole life (not dissing on anyone who may work at a factory or knows someone who does) at GM. I want to do something more with my life. I want to own a nice house, a complex server room, several nice computers, a nice car, etc. Since my uncle works and knows several people, he might be able to get me a job as an IT or something computer related :) Also, I hear there are great LAN parties nearby :D. I would like to thank those who provided advice for my situation.

I have decided to scrap my Java 3d Game engine project. Instead, I will be writing it in c++. The only reason why I wanted to use Java is to be able to use my game engine in an applet. Many of the features I want to have would cause too many errors and take too much time to perfect. C++ is pretty much just as portable and I can easily update everything. I will be using Lua as my scripting language. Now I have to spend many hours redoing my engine flow chart on my dry erase board :???: :geek: .

There is this thing called "maintenance". It has to be done daily to prevent world crashes and other server malfunctions. It's most likely a server got clogged up.

I don;t like Alienware simply because it is just over priced for what they have. Custom PC's > Prebuilt. I do have an Alienware m17x laptop for school uses.

With a lot more free-to-play fishing bots due to the guy who notes fish at Karamaja, more swordfish and lobsters are being put into the market. After a crash there is always a rise so I will use that to my advantage.
