Good luck, I cannot imagine trying to do that quest without a guide as it took me about 3 hours following every step and making no mistakes. I just used torag's body and verac's skirt and tanked most of the hits, although I do remember having to bank once.

My thoughts exactly. Just keep trying. I did this boss at 78 attack 78 strength and 75 defence with 70 prayer. I used torag's plate and verac's skirt etc. I didn't even use my normal inventory of rocktails, let alone the tort I had filled with them. I brought rocktails thinking the fight would be hard and I would have to bank and get super restores and brews but I never found the boss to be of any trouble.

Take it to the store and ask the people that you bought it from to show you how. I find it much easier to learn when you can see what is happening.

How many super antifires do you think I should make? I'm about to go try and collect some feathers but if it's a pain in the ass I might just keep doing super restores/spec recovers.

I just realized what the second was for super antifires... I might just do sara brews until 85 as it looks like sara brews and super attack are very close in terms of gp/xp

What potion(s) is/are the best to make to get to level 85 herblore. I am able to stew if someone could please explain how this works. Is it best to stew to 85 to make super antifires and then stew again to make extremes once I have level 85? If it's possible to not stew and still get 85 that would be preferable because logging in and out seems tedious to keep the boost from the stew.

I don't see complaining from the hybrids at castle drags, but people do complain when at edge doing melee vs melee. I basically have the same thoughts as the poster above me.

When managing my kingdom, do I need to raise my approval to 100% every day or can I just get it up to 100% right before I collect the resources? Is it ok to have less than 750k in the coffers? What is the fastest way to get to Miscelllenia? Relekella(sp?) chipped home teleport?

I would bring an ovl with more than one dose just in case (it doesnt hurt to have extra doses)

I can also recommend this, I prayed mage and beat nomad on my second try with 10+ brews left. I was in black d'hide with a tort filled with brews and restores in a 3:1 ratio. The only thing to keep in mind is that I have 99 range. Be sure you're running to the far side of the pillar as he can still hit you when you are on the close side(I found this out on my first try about 30 seconds in :wall:) I also used eagle eye the entire time.

Why is everyone complaining about how hard clues will be now? Was it really that hard back then to do a clue? Whenever I did a clue I made sure I was ready to log out as soon as I saw a white dot. Did most of the people complaining about clues not play back then? I'm confused.

Prepare for hearing that sentence a lot more in the future then. Now they have to choose an item, start buying it out, wait several weeks for the price to rise and then sell. Without price ceilings, they buy out and are able to sell immediately. Notice the text in bold please. So you would rather have to wait a few weeks to get an item than pay a few extra gp for an item now?

I used prayers and defeated Nomad without any trouble. A lot of the people I see killing him on YouTube are using normal prayers, but that doesn't mean curses aren't useful.

Oops I said I had hexhunter but I actually have sagittarian bow/arrows. I edited my first post.

I am currently in the process of training Dungeoneering to 80 and have the shadow silk hood and sagittarian bow/ammo bound. Should I unbind the sagittarian bow for a melee weapon at my stats? I plan on gradually training melee and becoming less of a "tank." I assume I should never unbind the shadow silk hood but could someone confirm this? I have 75 attack, 74 strength, and 99 range.

I've used one in the Brimhaven dungeon, made the task go by a lot faster. Try setting it up in one of the corners if you are hunting iron drags, it prevents the cannon from hitting a steel drag before you can hit the iron drag back.

I killed him with 14 brews and 5 restores left. It was my second attempt (my first attempt I died within about 30 seconds because I didn't know how to avoid his special) I didnt bother with kyatt and I couldn't borrow armadyl. Thanks everyone for the tips!

I'm about to make my first attempt. I won't be using armadyl, only black dragonhide top and karils skirt. I'll bring a war tort with the kyatt stored in the tort.

The problem with Karils is that a death would result in you having to repair the armour. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't cost that much, but it's definitely a hassle to go to your house each time and if you end up dying to him a lot (which is very possible) then it adds up. Try to get your hands on some armadyl armour, be it borrowing or just buying it temporarily and then selling it back to the GE. I'd imagine the soak would be useful for some of the attacks Nomad uses. I'd also suggest some Kyatt ambush scroll spam as I've heard it's very effective. A darklight/bgs spec whenever you have the spec energy might also be helpful. Good point, I will try and borrow some Armadyl armor. Do you think the Kyatt is more effective than a war tort? Or do you summon the Kyatt after all the supplies in the tort have been used?
