I was looking around, and honestly, I can safely say that you won't be able to get a decent HD camcorder for that price (at least from what I can see). With an HD camcorder, you'll need a good lens too, which will run you in itself an excess of 100, otherwise, HD is redundant as you're limited by the lens' capabilities. I found a Sony HDR-CX105E, which can be bought for 339 on Amazon, but that's the best I could find without resorting to completely crud quality. However, you'll find that most camcorders under ~600-700 do not allow for adapters (ex. 25mm adapter, which is what you're looking for, so that your lens will fit on the 'corder). I personally would either go with a good SD camcorder at that price, or be willing to shell out a bit more for a true HD one.
