Some people play Runescape for fun and Xp. Not everyone cares about ranks and records. I never quite understood how people didn't understand this.

Andrew Gower, Paul Gower, and Mod Chris L come to mind, but personally I would mostly want to see an interview with Andrew Gower and Paul Gower ^_^. I'm not entirely sure if Andrew still works at Jagex Games Studio, but I'm certain Paul does.

It's amazing to witness S U O M I's Slayer progress, and I must say, it inspires me a fair bit ^_^. Also, pardon me for going off-topic, but... Ideally, even if a a program such as that with the same legitimate purpose as normal mouse-keys were to be used, there still is a major risk of Jagex claiming that is allowed, primarily since many a time such software has the chance of infecting your computer and/or stealing your account details via keylogging, something which as a company, you wouldn't want to risk being liable for simply for claiming it is allowed. The same goes for third-party software clients, such as SwiftKit, since in a technical sense it could be modified at any time with a simple update, or patch, and have keyloggers inserted into it with ease. P.S. Quit turning this thread into a sort of drama-chamber. Even if you aren't starting it, you're equal in a sense for contributing to it, and attacking/hating Aribiterspar is neither constructive nor useful to this thread at all.

The idea of someone getting 200,000,000 Slayer Experience is epic, so a huge congratulations to Wyvernrider4 on that achievement ^_^. I'm not sure if he got it today, or yesterday.

Very poor presumptions, to be honest. If they were to follow that, I'm sure a fair bit of players who play for long-periods of time, specifically players with very high amounts of Experience, would instantly be suspected. That, of course, would be very unreasonable and stupid. They have certain methods of their own, and as Andrew Gower said at RuneFest, there are many methods of detecting cheaters at Jagex's side.

Nope, and to be honest, I really don't think it's a realistic goal at all. There's so many current issues with RuneScape Classic, and almost never are they attended to, so I'm sure S U O M I would find it horribly frustrating.

The legitimate players. Any real legitimate player would rather not exist in a game filled with cheaters. That's why so many people view most of the games made by Nexon as a joke. As for the question itself, I most likely would cry for two or three days before becoming anti-Jagex forever. However, Jagex would never do this, so I doubt such a day would ever come.

I agree that the 'Rants' Forum should not be deleted, but much of the 'Rants' Community is really putting their community in a bad light by behaving the way they're behaving on the RuneScape Forums. I don't mean to offend, but spamming up the forums and not even making sensible arguments really puts your entire community in a bad light, and makes most people stereotype the people who a part of it. That, in my humble opinion, is the biggest problem in the 'Rants' community, and that's also why many left after it's age of 'degrade'.

He got almost hacked, all of his data (facebook, rs etc.) was keylogged or something, that's why his adv log was f2p for a while (he cancelled memb immediately) and now it's private. Dunno if he lost a lot of cash, probably he did. Btw A13d told me this, who posts here often too. That's horrible, I hope everything goes all right for him :(. I imagine he's not a Dual Moderator now as well since, as far as my knowledge goes, you lose that responsibility when your account gets hijacked.

Cheating in RuneScape is quite bad as well. If you play a game improperly, and devalue the achievements of others who spent their time attaining those achievements, that most definitely is bad and disgraceful. Why play the game at all if you can't play it properly? Is there even the slightest bit of logic in cheating? Also, I find it funny when people call legitimate players 'no-lifes', when in reality the idiots who choose to cheat are the one's that can't let go of the game and resort to cheating. Regardless of what the argument is, cheating is a huge negative in the community, and frowned upon greatly.

Also, since when were humans absolutely required to contribute to an often materialistic and 'stone-standard' society? If they have the opportunity to play, let them play. Where's the logic in highlighting it in a negative manner? On another note, it's best if we halt this discussion after your reply to my post due to this thread not being the best of places to have such a discussion, and also since it's more of a place to track noticeable players.

You've made more than a hundred posts on the Tip.It Forums. I deem that as a prodigious waste of time, and also something you will regret in the future. Yes, that isn't an equal comparison, but even if it were, would it make the slightest bit of sense? As someone already said... Leave them alone, and let them be instead of wasting your time complaining about THEM.

If it's truly something they enjoy aiming for and would not ever force themselves irresponsibly to achieve, I see no reason for it to be wrong.
