If it's truly something they enjoy aiming for and would not ever force themselves irresponsibly to achieve, I see no reason for it to be wrong.

Life's boring without challenges. ;) I couldn't agree more, to be honest <3:.
-
I went on RuneScape and enjoyed myself, watched a bit of news, finished less coursework than I expected to finish, and also received less sleep than I expected to receive . That's all right though, to be honest, since RuneScape always adds a hint of magic to my day <3:.

I absolutely love this update <3:! The entire idea of a brilliant cape for players who've played for five years, played RuneScape Classic, achieved Maxed Total, and even went beyond that to achieve almost everything the game has to offer is magnificent, and I congratulate Jagex on executing such an idea well . Well done!

It could be possible that RuneScape would evolve to the point where it would be downloadable and not reach its full potential in the browsers, and to be honest, that would be quite nice to see, although I'm afraid the entire "mobility" and "simplicity" of the matter would make some of the user-base row away, unless technology were to be on Jagex's side at that point. Jagex is one of the most innovative people in the Games Industry, to be honest, so I expect plenty from them.

Not once have I ever been tempted to cheat on any sort of game, whether it be RuneScape or a simple game of chess. I see no point in playing the game improperly and looking like a complete idiot. If someone feels the need to cheat in a game where other people enjoy themselves, then they obviously need to refrain from playing the game in the first place. It obviously isn't their thing if they have to stoop so low.

Runecrafting. It's highly tedious!

I find Magic the most interesting, to be honest!

I don't really see what's so special about it, to be honest, aside from being a "royal occurrence", so I won't be bothered watching it. I still don't see how they deserve that much attention, even if it's a part of British culture. It just doesn't make sense... :wall:

I agree, to be honest. RuneScape most definitely is a magnificent game, but real life definitely is far more important. I'm not saying that RuneScape is pointless, considering it is for enjoyment, but the fact that one day it literally could just vanish, all the work that you put into it, means that you really shouldn't take the game overly competitive.

I would be myself, primarily because I take pride in earning my achievements, items, and anything else associated with a RuneScape Account myself, thus being someone else wouldn't be the least suitable of paths to pursue for me.

Congratulations :)! -
There's a number of topics and things that generally grind my gears quite a bit. - Those strange people who endlessly impose their religion on you, or at least attempt to, and violently or immaturely respond to a logical argument. - The type of people who put mindless belief in mind in any situation, regardless of what it is, and somehow manage to negatively impact everyone around them by not logically thinking in certain situations. - Immature people in general. These type of people, of course, will always exist, but are a prominent annoyance in my opinion. - Trolls. We all dislike these attention craving, somewhat delusional, noticeably shallow people who roam the Internet, hence why they grind my gears by simply existing. - Elitists. There's nothing wrong with boasting about yourself once in awhile, and to be honest, it's actually healthy to brag about yourself a few times and heighten your self-esteem, however, when you cross the most visible of lines and become a true elitist, meaning one who claims superiority in any given aspect, situation, or trait, then you sir, are on my list of things that grind my gears. - Spammers. I haven't been having much problems with them lately, but nevertheless, they are an annoying part of common Internet experiences. - Players who criticise Jagex without even providing constructive feedback on what they are criticising, and what they want to be done about it. Instead, they either offer impractical or poorly thought solutions, or simply make a thread making hateful comments towards Jagex Staff who have not the slightest bit of involvement due to a Game Update and simply manage the community. "A gamer's stupidity at its finest is often present in the Rants Forum." - Players who are overly supportive to Jagex. Jagex, without doubt, is a magnificent company, but they do indeed have their flaws, some of them which cannot go unnoticed. The thing that really grinds my gears is this overly supportive, delusional players who completely ignore every single problem in an update, and simply post "well done!" or "fantastic job!" on any game update thread, whether it be on the RuneScape Official Forums or the Tip It Forums. These players, I would presume, are what someone would label as a "Suck-up", for I believe their only intention is not to improve RuneScape and better it, but to simply give non-constructive praise that doesn't even have any real substance to support it. Those all the annoyances I can list for now, and I apologize in advance if I was not permitted to list RuneScape-related annoyances.

When I first became signed up to receive RuneScape Membership, I remember the first task I pursued, without dispute, was a game of Castle Wars. I remember this so clearly because of how populated the World I played Castle Wars in was, and although I died quite a bit, I truly was consumed by how interesting Castle Wars, let alone members, itself was. Also, some of the players I encountered my first moments on RuneScape whilst playing Castle Wars also influenced my future goals, for example, I remember seeing a player with a rather quick, powerful weapon, and once I learned it was an Abyssal Whip, I immediately began working towards being able to afford an Abyssal Whip and achieving level 70 Attack.

To be honest, I'm don't have an absolute opinion towards grinding, and also, I personally enjoy grinding, to some degree, due to the competitive atmosphere that comes along with it in most cases, and occasionally, the sheer excitement to attain something that has an interesting benefit once you invest time and effort into working towards it. I doubt there's a single Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game to date that does not involve some form of grinding, and almost all if them, if not all of them, can easily be identified as a "Grind-game". The grind, in my opinion, makes it fun, but in some respects, it also makes it rather tedious, discouraging, and somewhat unhealthy if you thought about it from a mental perspective, and due to these varied feelings towards grinding, I doubt I will ever have an absolute opinion towards grinding. The new Jagex Store products seem fairly good, although I wish there were more colour options for certain products. Nevertheless, I've made the choice to order a RuneScape T-shirt ^_^. Vandite

I would deduce it would be impossible, given that RuneScape has ten more years to be live and actively supported, and that new skills, which are possibly difficult, would be added every now and then. This deduction of mine, and probably many others, however, may be obsolete if training for certain skills were to be made easier, which in my opinion is a bad path to travel, but nevertheless, would make attaining 200,000,000 Experience in all of the skills more likely to be achieved in RuneScape's lifetime. Congratulations to both of you, and best of luck moderating the community ^_^. Vandite -
Definitely isn't impossible, but very close in my opinion. Personally speaking, I wouldn't be able to bare getting the maximum amount of experience in certain skills that I find boring, and I'm not sure many people have an unlimited amount of time to spare as well, although we never really know what kind of RuneScape player could arise, I think it will be quite sometime before someone gets the maximum amount of experience in any skill.

Jagex's new bot punishment: Level resetting
Vandite replied to The_Gabe's topic in General Discussion
Seems like a fairly decent solution, although I'm still not informed about the specifics and haven't taken the time to research them, nor do I really care to if I were to be honest, I'm just as happy knowing Jagex is making efforts to counter the use of bots and macros, and even if those efforts turn out to be not as effective as they were planned to be or as I would want to be, I'll still admire them for trying. I'm sure some of those who constantly bash Jagex don't really understand how difficult it is to combat bots and macros. I just hope any innocent players don't get caught up in this, although I strongly doubt they would considering I haven't seen the Player Support and Investigations team make any errors in the past, but I'm not exactly sure if I've been around long enough to know in the first place. -
I learned that relying on electronics for everything isn't so well, and that eating the remaining batch of popcorn that your friend made with shady looking ingredients will most definitely lead to stomach sickness. Vandite

I most likely will be purchasing Betrayal at Falador at this time, but nothing else currently available in the store interests me besides the novel. Vandite

Greetings Tip.It Community! I'm Vandite, a fellow RuneScape player who has the objective to get involved in some interesting discussions in this community, not to mention make some new, hopefully long-term friends :). I've been playing RuneScape for 7 years now on various accounts, now currently playing on the account Vandite, and my first name in real life is Akshay, so feel free to call me that ^_^. At the moment, I'm level 71 combat in RuneScape, but growing every day, so I'm sure I'll reach the goals I set for myself eventually. I enjoy a variety of things in life, whether it be a good game of Civilization or an interesting book, I have a very different, more open-minded personality than most people on the Internet. If you would like to have a more detail understanding of who I am and my interests, I advise you take a glance at my profile. Vandite
