Possibilty of RS voice chat?
It would be pretty cool to talk to people without having to juggle multiple windows/programs. Maybe RS could form a business partnership with skype? Watev, in general this seems like it could work out great if Jagex could set it up properly.

Luring
Just dont go for things that are too good to be true.... The only time that I was (almost) lured was when a lvl 138 was having a "Quitting game drop party" It seemed very legitimate and a person who was conspiring with her (unkown to me and others) "Received" Bandos tassets and chest and acted like he got them from a trade window race. Then she said that the person with the highest value inv would win d claws and that we could go to a bank. (This is when I realized that this was a lure) I went to the bank, got a DDP+, and dharoks platebody and legs, 3 acorns a bucket, cheese, 3gp, and a monks robe bottom. Then another guy (with the scammer) "Won" the bank game Then she told us to go to one of the german language servers and that we would have another teleport, then trade race. It was an Ice plateau tele, I knew it was and i went with my 3 valuable items and random junk to piss off the lurers. There was 5 guys ranging from lvl 75-112 and then the lvl 138 of course. Me and a few other guys that followed my example with the 3 items and junk strategy fought bravely and I took a guy down, I poisoned him and got him down to almost no health with my dds and when I died I put retribution on so he went with me, I hope they enjoyed the 3gp and acorns.

How are you preparing for Bonus XP Weekend?
Methods that already provide bonus xp will not be affected by the Bonus Multiplier during the weekend. This means methods like Gold Smiting Guantlets Stealing creation tools brawlers Gilded altars etc. WILL NOT WORK. good thing I only got 9 hatchets so far, watev thats still going to be good xp. I guess I will do slayer then.

Why do you think Jagex made 99s Require so Much EXP?
So do you enjoy grinding for 130+ hours, if you don't then why would you do it?? People grind in RS for a feeling of accomplishment over a number going up. Is there anything really wrong with playing rs a lot and grinding a lot... no but don't play it off like people play RS for fun. Well, some people play for fun, but they suck at the game. The people that are generally considered "good" spend the majority of the time doing tasks that are monotonous and boring, unless said person is maxed out or very close to. Then they would probably try to do some fun things, but the amount of maxed out people is negligible compared to the number of people that are not maxed out.

No and before you make an argument back go and look at my previous post on this thread regarding the possibility of skills (other then dung) going above 99. Dung isn't included because dung has no bearing in the rest of rs except for the weapon unlocks that you get at level 80.

Ideal Nex Set Up, The Numbers
Fixed that for you. It's not even about being efficient. Nex is so powerful compared to what's available to us now that you need to have top tier skills and equipment to even consider trying to kill her (unless you're going with a massive team just for the experience value, and even then, it's been proven that a massive team of low level players doesn't necessarily work). A bunch of low levels would just hit a stream of 0's Ever been to castle wars, a level 120+ gets stacked on by a bunch of 70-80's all you see is 0's and maybe a few 1's and 2's (HP not LP) (Not saying that 70's and 80's are teaming against nex just that a comparative low level vs high level thing was appropriate) Okay, misinterpretation. By low level I mean someone over level 125, but doesn't have Overloads, Yak, and top-tier gear. If you're level 70 or 80 you probably won't survive kill count. >.< As I said Im just using the lvl 70-80 thing as an example. But WOW 125 is low holy [cabbage] I'm in the 90's man that's unbelievable bro. :ohnoes: I am putting on my RS sweatband and taking 3 weeks off of school... I have much training to do!

Now thats Jumping the shark. :-D No that's never going to happen, that's just giving every player with a 99 a huge middle finger. Not to mention the obvious effects on the economy as raw materials would skyrocket, rares, weapons and monster drops would plummet. Also, a lot more high level content would have to be created in every skill which would completely change how RS worked. More boss monsters to compensate for the fact that maxed out people with combat levels of 120 could probably solo or duo nex at that point. More quests to compensate, again for the new high leveled people. New training grounds for people that are 99+ New trees, ores, fish, foods, herbs etc. what you are talking about is RS3 which will never happen because of stellar dawn, but It doesn't hurt to dream I guess.

Clanwars the most dangerous place on RS
I don't know how you get full bandos or a santa in 1 hour or even 10 hours. Tell me your secret. I lol'd They just make money 10x slower than normal people, silly. Most people on RS dont make 10 million gp in a month, your views on the distribution of wealth are extremely disturbed.

Skilling and untradeable high level rewards.
I am definitely an idiot because I showed you how your analogy sucked hard and I showed you that proof isn't needed or possible in many scenarios. So far you are the one that looks stupid, especially because you had to resort to calling me stupid.

Skilling and untradeable high level rewards.
Prove to me that you love your mother? I think that asking for proof in this situation is a bit too much as I am not stating a statistic or an occurance. I think it's fair to say that most people dislike grinding for huge amounts of time. Also you cant judge a post based on one part, it's like judging RS for just the combat. Or judging Black ops by just the campaign, you have to reply to the whole thing or none at all. Go ahead, make a poll asking if people enjoy extended periods of grinding I doubt many people will go with yes. The majority will most likely vote no. You are making the unsupported claim that you think most players hate training, therefor it is your job to prove it. Otherwise how could we justify locking people up in insane asylums when they say there are aliens in the room and cant prove it? Prove your statement is true before asking another question. You say that you are heterosexual prove it. You say that you love your mother prove it. you say that you want higher wages at your job prove it. you say that you believe in god prove it. you say that RS is a good game prove it. See what I mean, its not "My duty to submit proof" on this matter. If Im stating a statistic that can be found on the web then yes it is. I don't think that I need to do a survey of 2 million people to come to the conclusion that the majority of people dislike grinding (not training). Stop being annoying and asking for proof bro it makes you look like a stuckup jackass And thats a great analogy with the crazy guy! no not really You wouldn't commit a crime would you, throwing a rock at somebody is the same thing as killing your mother! (The same thing that you said)

Skilling and untradeable high level rewards.
I would say that the vast majority of people do. Im talking about true 100% no afk grinding. Thats boredom bro. citation needed You only missed half of my post, maybe you could take off the last two sentences to make me look even more ignorant. If your going to quote something quote the whole thing. If you continued to read I said that of course some people enjoy grinding and that it is not a 100% thing and that the majority of people dislike or are bored by grinding.

I would say that the vast majority of people do. Im talking about true 100% no afk grinding. Thats boredom bro. Though I guess some people might find grinding fun or at least bearable so for that minority these high levels will be enjoyable. But I think its safe to say that you have to do some boring stuff before you can have the best unlockables in the game.

Skilling and untradeable high level rewards.
Yes, remove the only tangible reward for training the skill. That will definitely make the skill more fun. Currently, the only incentive besides reputation that gathering and production skill have are the untradeable rewards. That's why skills like smithing, crafting and fletching are useless, and are treater as total level fodder. That's a problem with skills then. If something is boring and no one likes it, you make it more interesting somehow, not force players to suffer through boredom for exclusive rewards... Grinding is boredom and grinding is the only way to get the best rewards in the game. Combat is grinding too btw. So in your opinion grinding should not exist therefore high level rewards should not exist. Summary - Iron and bronze armor only Nice herblore was directly linked to Cmb because The skill is underused and has no practical purpose as you can buy any pot. and you can make more money in other ways so in fact there are no rewards at all for Herb. unless you believe that saving some money is worth lvl 85+ in a slow xp skill. But then again if you took the time it takes to get a high Herb you could probably make enough money to nullify the only true Herb. reward. This should also be done for smithing and fletching aswell because these skills also have no true "Rewards" as everything in these skills can be bought.

Does Jagex have self confidence anymore
A quote is a quote, and just like I assume that Jagex MAY have lost confidence you guys equally assume that they haven't. Things like this have been used in other games for the reason of making money, all that ginger warrior is trying to say is that it could be possible for Jagex to be doing this to make money. Its a speculative question and to shoot it down is extremely ignorant as it is entirely possible. Sure it could be a giveaway but Jagex is a business and businesses make money. Its just a possibility and remember that when people get memberships they could quite possibly continue their memberships, this could be the bait for the customer to buy membership and to continue using it.

Does Jagex have self confidence anymore
They weren't risking anything, they knew that people wanted Free trade and wildy. While I hate free trade I love the wildy =) If the game was more popular with Free trade and wildy how is it a risk to put it back on. The real risk is when they took it off, that move took some balls on Jagex's part. All that I'm saying is that Jagex made a 10k giveaway and made the members the only people with a chance to win, this could be a play in order to increase membership, and if so then why isn't Jagex confident in their own material anymore. Which leads to my question on Jagex's self confidence.... oops thats right not my question, If your going to try and flame someone then flame the right person (not towards you amitoz)

Has Runescape "Jumped the Shark"?
Once again somebody fails to realize the actual discussion on this thread.... Its about quality of the game not the amount of people playing it.
