Political Poll
I'm not sure why people don't answer this question, I've got a pretty clear idea; The Big Society is the concept that everyone should be consciously considering and doing things that help the local community in general, instead of doing everything according to pure self-interest. It's a mindset. Extreme examples are participating in volunteer projects to renovate dilapidated parks, removing unwanted graffiti or help run a public event, but it also includes smaller things like keeping hold of litter until you find a bin, being polite to people in public, having a tidy front garden, going to that local shop on the corner instead of going to a supermarket. Simply being a nice decent member of society, really. So simply ethos which every "decent" person should already have in them? That's pretty ridiculous. Why is it ridiculous? It's ethos which should already be installed into people through their upbringing. If it isn't there at the start it won't be there at the end.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
This guy who seems to be going through a daily post a quote on Facebook stage. For example, the past three days we've had: That which does not kill us makes us stronger." Friedrich Nietzsche "Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car." G.K. Chesterton "When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun'." Groucho Marx I think this annoys me more because i) This person is an arrogant [bleep] who thinks he is smarter than everybody else plus ii) I hate those quotes.

Political Poll
Here I voted conservatives as currently it's the Party that I feel best to lead us forward though, My problem with the Liberal Democrats is they seem to have no capability of thinking on their own feet; from the previous election it seemed like they just swapped sides depending on which way the wind was blowing. Nick Clegg also seems to have no back bone and to stand up for what his party supposedly stands/stood for. It's why I was opposed to any idea of changing the voting system; a chance of giving the Lib Dems a chance of increased power was taking two steps back at fixing the broken economy and society. Labour, well to sum it up in short. I think the leaders of New Labour verged on a joke. They seemed to have no real ideal of making this country work instead living off the boom bubble that was generated throughout their ruling of the last 10 years. This lead to ridiculous spending in sectors which was a waste and unsupportable which has to ultimately lead to all these cut backs. Conservatives mean while have seemed to adopt this policy of wielding scissors and cutting anywhere and everywhere in futile attempts at trying to cut back the budget deficiency, "shoot first question later" attitude. Some areas they are tackling I agree with, mainly the benefit sector. Far too long have people been able to cheat the system and claim money, disadvantaging both those who need the benefits but also those who work hard and pay so much tax towards it.. However, I disagree with the whole concept of the Big Society which is turning into some big shenanigan. Does anybody actually know what this "Big Society" actually stands for?

Banned for making me read something with poor grammar.

Well, this is strange
I agree with the rhyme scheme and I do try to avoid when possible but I've been bought up constantly looking at the rhyme scheme and hence for meaning. It's a real backwards way of studying and writing it as they do seem to narrow it greatly. I also accept that this isn't my strongest poem; It's the first time I've ever written about love or openly expressed positive feelings into a written form. Much of my previous poems I've written have been very focused onto death/grievance/unhappiness (one of which is included below.) I personally feel that the dark, depressing side is a lot easier to write about. Probably because I can more easily relate to it that than the positivity of love. Also, I'm writing towards a person who I don't even know yet which is extremely difficult. Mainly because a love poem is written about their amazing features which I know not of hence the partial ambiguity. [hide=sin] He lay succumbed, All emotions benumbed Hidden in the mountain of sin, God’s promise was rescind And Death just grinned. He reached out, Trying to find the way, Back to the path of life Begging with his dying breath, Please, just one more roll of the dice. Death was not the plan, He envisioned far more Love would be outran He would not take on that sore It was what he truly abhorred. He had been unaware, He refused to forbear, Spinning a web of lies, Plotting his own demise, And Death was laughing. Satan reigned His heart bled The darkness gained The light fled And God ran. Hell he was destined His soul was coarsened To Death’s tender arm No longer need to crept And God wept. The lines were no longer blurry He could finally see Why did God not say? Why must his life pay? And he died. [/hide]

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Ah, thanks Warrior. And I agree, a lack of experience would take things slowly but obviously not her. She wanted my phone number within two sentences so either I'm reading it wrong or she is a bit crazy. I don't even know if she has a long term relationship before; I hardly know her expect that she wants to study the same degree at the same university as me now. I don't even have faint attraction to her, she seems a nice person but I'm not going to try and do long term relationships at my age when's she is 200 miles away. i) impractical ii) unlikely to last. I think going down the route of ignoring all texts/messages from here should paint the picture as telling her where to go hasn't worked, thinking it's some joke. Just need to remember to not delete her number this time and it should work.

Just tell her? I've tried. She thinks it's a joke.. Tell her again, not so nicely and then stop talking to her. She sounds like an out right nut to me. I wouldn't say nut.. She's probably not the most experience and when she starts liking somebody she ends up suffocating any hope with keenness.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Is there a nice but blunt way to tell girl you don't want to skip school and travel 200 miles to just see her? This is the girl who wants to go to the same Unis as me. Edit: I fear being alone with her...

Try to keep it simple don't waffle around and try to not break down in front of her if you get a no. Good luck, let's hope for the best.

Or your phone didn't send it. Or her phone didn't receive it. Or she was doing what you were doing. Or she simply didn't want to see you and though it was better to ignore than say. Or plenty of other things. It's only a text message; there are are plenty more serious things you could be devoting your time to worrying/thinking about.

UK Relocation
The good thing about Milton Keynes is it is like an American city with it's square structure however it's a really long distance... $700 is about £500 a month so looking at inner London would be difficult. How about Watford? It's an alright city with a direct fast link to Euston from where you could get tubes to wherever.

It's understandable but just breathe and take a step back. Making her come after you sometimes is never a bad thing.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
I think you may of missed a chance when you were alone driving. If she offered to come out with you it doesn't always mean something but it more than likely did in this case. It could also explain her attitude the following night.
