  1. Let's face it. We only consider the untradable herblore potions "useful" because of its bearing on combat. Every future skill update - like it or not - will be judged in its so called "usefulness" based on its relation to combat, because combat skills are the only set of skills deemed inherently useful. Most people in this thread consider the inferno adze to be useless because it has no bearing on combat. People consider barehanding sharks to be useless because it doesn't affect combat. The requirements to wield an adze or to barehand sharks are high in their own right. What if, instead of extremes and overload, Jagex released untradable skilling boost potions? Yeah, no one would consider that useful. So when players see updates to noncombat skills like smithing, crafting, construction, runecrafting, thieving, and agility, they invariably look for how it benefits their combat experience, either indirectly or directly. Personally, I don't agree with this paradigm. Skilling for the sake of skilling seems to be a lost concept nowadays. But that's how it is. Combat is the measuring stick against usefulness because combat is the only decent moneymaker. If a high level skilling update came out that managed to be comparable to, say, frost dragons for cash/hour, that'd be great too. I'm not picky. One way or another, we need to see skills affecting GP gain, be that indirectly through influencing combat or directly by being the new double crafting natures. The requisite is usefulness. Untradable skilling boosts would be inherently useless in most cases because they'd just give us new ways to reach the requirements for abilities we can't use for anything of appreciable value. I would say thats because the best money per hour comes from combat, with the exception of merchanting, solo Td's, solo Arma the list goes on. Skilling ( to my knowledge) for most skills can barley earn you more than 900k an hour.
  2. Yes sir, we did.
  3. I also hope its untradable, and I would perfer it if it had a quest requirment or some high skill requirments.
  4. Surley the drop rate of charms would prevent merch clans from manipulating them, not to mention all the people with 1000s of charms that would love to make a few mil.
  5. Um, look at the graph. http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Dragonfire_shield/viewitem.ws?obj=11284 Are you sure that is a good idea? Just wondering, does anyone know why the DFS is dropping in price so sharply?
  6. Don't worry got one sorry.
  7. I've been online while someone called Zarfots been reading this thread, and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he post a long time ago saying something like "This thread really is funny, you guys act if it's a dog race."
  8. I suppose Discussion of sleep is rather important in a thread all about How people can live on little sleep, and then only do the same 5 or so clicks over and over again for the rest of their day. I spose I sleep a lot because I'm still a teenager, If I was to sleep 5 hours a day I'd feel like crap.
  9. Pretty sure Zarfot no lifes it.... Pretty sure Zarfot only played 6-10 hours a day and not 16+ ? 6-10 hours is still enough to be no lifing it. Thats quite a lot. It's still a lot less than 16+ hours a day. True, but I could also say 16 is a lot less than 24 so therefore 16 hours is not no lifing it. Not true... [/hide] right because any true scaper can play 24h a day consistently, yea theyll get a whole 30m xp before they die...and no i dont mean in rs If you sleep 7 hours of your day, and go to work or study for 6 hours (which by the way is quite low, I sleep like 8-9 hours on a normal day and work for 8 hours), you're left with 11 hours. So, if you spent 90,9% of your free time playing RuneScape, I think that's quite a bit no-lifing. Yes but the difference between playing 16+ hours a day and 6-10 hours a day is quite a lot, for 16+ hours a day you probably sleep and play runescape. 6-10 hours a day you can sleep, play runescape AND do something eles.

  11. I hope they don't rise tbh haha, I just sold mine for 100mil a week ago, 3mil over the mid price :) I would be so dissapointed in myself if they were to rise beyond my price range.
  12. This and I found Gwd a lot of fun.
  13. One of the orginal pokemon? 145 Nice, How long did Porygon take you?
  14. You could replace background (some of it) with memories of the girls life. Then it would explain why she is smiling. I quite like that idea. I also really like your Zammy book and Stelladawn siggy :)
  15. Most randoms don't give you acsess to your invo do they, except the Graveyard one and maybe the Maze?
  16. I have a feeling you are trolling, noone has that bad grammar without doing it on purpose :/ Tip to the OP, go through www.runescape.wikia.com and look for stuff you arent familiar with. It's impossible for us to tell you about all the new stuff that have come over 2 years. Good luck! :) Most of his posts are like that, I don't think he's trolling, he just doesn't want to grammar or spell check.
  17. Goodluck with 200m and your Effegies. Nice Vissage drops and Phat collection you've got there, especially your new blue :P
  18. And some quest and treasure trail Puzzles.
  19. So do I but I think people take it to seriously sometimes :\ its scary.
  20. I'm not certain but didn't Jagex release a picture of something that looked like a dragon crossbow in the inn with the squirel?
  21. I wonder how long it takes for Jagex to get the report and then investigate and ban the person.
  22. The new health system is to make it more interesting for the newer players, as hitting nothing but 0's and 1's can be extremely dull, and although I miss the old hitpoints system occasionally, I can understand and apreciate why Jagex did this. Also it does open up combat ever so slightly. Eventually, this new health thing will be deemed normal if it's not already, which I'm sure by this point in time most people, myself included are now used to.
  23. Herbs have a solid death rate of 10% no matter your farming level, Grimys spreadsheets are always worth checking out.
  24. Master horn is just level 5 in one role.
