  1. Sometimes the way someone WANTS to spend their life isn't healthy. Not working and spending those 8/9/10 hours you'd work playing a game is not healthy, period. Being healthy is eating healthy, going to the gym and/or doing Multiple sports, have a girl/boyfriend, have a lot of social contacts etc. Sad but true is 95% of the top players do not have anything mentioned of the above. Might still be good for them to do what they want, does not mean it's healthy. we have social contact why do you think jagex gave us friends list. Yes that was semi sarcastic but still legitimate especially in clans and such you can build long lasting good friendships there
  2. Actually it always seemed to me as though the people who tell me to be efficient think that it must be my life goal to accumulate as much xp as possible, and that I have no idea how to manage my account. *shrug* do they? Games aren't about judging others, I was more trying to point out how this efficiency-discussion on this particular thread seems to be more off-topic than anything, and you certainly don't need to take offense, just like it doesn't bother me at all if people see Zarfot as the best player because he is super hyper mega pro efficient. Also responding to your post about "Just find it funny how majority of the pro-'efficiency' guys have no stats themselves... :rolleye However me myself have only been "playing" this game for under a year ( yeah i made the acc in 2004 and logged on and did stuff before but I didnt actually start playing the game to play it till like june of this year) and in this time have done everything I could to learn everything I could about efficiency and training methods and ...etc and dont have any outstanding stats (except for maybe 72.5m rc xp) but in the grand scheme i know that's really not that much but I realize the difference between always using the max xp/h methods and then logging off..etc I just know the knowledge to where if some1 asks whats the most " efficient thing to do for this if my goal is 200m xp in all stats" ..etc or wanna do this the fastest way..etc but like I said before its not about how much time you can do it in, getting there faster so ofc ivy is better then logging out..etc assuming you even want to be "efficient" Also i think people who tell others how to run their account is moronic, people should play and manage their accounts how they want to do it, yeah math is math and yes youd spend less time at teaks or whatever but if the person doesnt care or want to do it then people should l2 mind their own business, the information or advice is given, its declined, people should leave it alone.
  3. Somethings can. Those both assume ability to pay enough attention to RS. There are times where I NEED to do things IRL, so I can WC ivy, or not be on at all. Then, ivy are the most efficient. i spent 30 minutes trying to say your second sentence and couldn't figure it out lol then u said it right off the bat, thanks now i feel stupid. But yeah as to my post on prev page this is 1 of the main points i was trying to make
  4. I think people are getting confused about efficiency. People are seeming to think that always doing teaks then no woodcutting at all is what me or others are deeming efficienct its not. Obviously gaining any xp at all is better then none so if your in a situation where say your eating dinner, working on homework or just plain out tired and dont feel like it then doing ivy instead of teaks is much better then just logging off and not doing anything. If you feel like playing xbox and you wanna cut some ivy and not miss out on rs xp your not being inefficient. Efficient is getting xp when you can not getting the best xp 100% of the time when your on causing you to get less xp/day because you get tired thats just stupid, unless of course you have a specific goal about adventure log time. Even zarfot when working on schoolwork and stuff fished then just dropped the invent when it filled up which yeah loses time but better then just logging off. If being what people are mistakingly deeming as efficient causing you to get less xp/day then you could doing teaks while your on and focused and ivy later then im sorry but your stupid, efficiency has nothing to do with adventure log time its how you manage your xp/day and getting xp whenever you can more then what someone normal would get. Personally I alch my teaks atm when I wc and its just as afk for me as ivy is but thats a different subject. I couldnt really get out exactly what I wanted to say ill come back later if I think of a propper way to say it but I think i got at least 1 point across.
  5. Its complicated with zarfot I dont know much about his personal details and why he played..etc we never really talked about it but I know he has the same opinion as you with your first sentence, which actually shouldnt really be to hard to understand its common sense really but idk why people dont get that. For your last statement I agree but there are a few some that dont have alot of major stats that do know what they are talking about.

  7. I remember talking with zarfot about it as well as on his yt channel and in cc but From what i remember its definately not worth it to spend effigies on slayer. Spend them on rc
  8. theres nothin inefficient about ivy, its free xp and about 90% as fast as the top methods of wc 90% as fast as top methods of wc and also loses out on the firemaking and potential easiest fletching xp to gain while not losing any other time on a skill
  9. I didn't, but that's alot yea, but is it enough? i know someone made calculations a lot of pages back on all buyables, i don't remember it very good but it's something around 13m for prayer, herblore, crafting, construction and summoning? And is it still that much, since graahking isn't really much profit anymore... @ismibag, wow 69k that's alot ;p, but i checked phoenix yt channel and it actually is that high. But okay 40k/hour with the graahk zmi combi should be right then, thanks! I'm betting on suomi to be the first to reach all skills 200m, any1 has different thoughts on this? (cuz that actually is the main topic lolz) Is any1 really good friends with him here? Jebrim? Can you tell us more about what suomi is up to and what his future plans are? Also does he do anything besides skilling? minigames? achiev diarys? any personal achievs like all champ scrolls or court cases or i don't know? anything but gaining serious xp phoenixes yt channel shows 62/63k/h Aribiterspar yt explains how to do up to 69k i am friends with jebrim what info you need? Suomis plans are 200m xp in all skills
  10. hes t a disadvantage but only small, effigies should go to agility for him now his main loss tbh is from assisting now he has to do it on something else and zmi isnt great money it used to not be to bad though bout 8 gp/xp but not super igga mega gibber rich yes he did alot of nats but he spent most of that
  11. 9 hp isnt even the rarest lol its less rare then 1 hp and 8 hp is the rarest
  12. if you got that much extra food where its overpiling all the time your not doing enough to help your team
  13. Most the range xp you get from slayer, literally like almost all of it is from cannon and steel titan these should keep it around a 1:1 ratio with slayer so 200m in both at same time and yes str xp is best saved some for dung and fishing your not stupid by any means, gotta find out sometime its best to ask questions.
  14. Thanks, and like i said I don't play anymore, I quit right before Dungeon came out, so that was a guesstimate. Could you or anyone else give me a more realistic number and I will recalculate the cave crawler section? 10m or so give or take id say
  15. in that case, its probably better to cannon cave crawlers, black demons, or black dragons for effigies from an efficiency standpoint. after 200m slayer yeah
  16. Lots O' Text Didn't read your whole post but 200m slayer leaves you with 160m attk/str/def or 147 of each assuming you start slayer with 99 melees already lol I am just reposting this data I calculated a while ago, it isn't isn't all relevant to this topic, but most of it is. I am typing an essay right now so I can't get involved in this debate right now, but I will later with some more numbers. Assuming you have 15m xp in all skills already to make things simple. 185m slayer xp = 185m damage points Assuming 1:1 range to slayer ratio then 185m range xp means 92.5m damage points from range Therefore 185m-92.5m = 92.5m damage points to be spread across melee. since you get 4xp per damage point 4*92.5m = 370m xp for attk/str/def from 15-200m slayer That would provide 15-200m attack and 15-200m defense. Assuming around 17m stength xp is gained from 15-200m fishing, and 50m is gained from 200m dungeoneering 185-17-50 = 118m strength xp left to gain after slayer. Assuming you get an effigy on average every 100k slayer xp, 185m/100k = 1850 effigies from 200m slayer 59250 is the average RC xp from each effigy 1850*59250 = 109,612,500 RC xp from 15-200m slayer 109612500/185m = 0.5925 Therefore you get around .6 RC xp per 1 slayer xp 185m-109612500 = 75,387,500 RC xp left after slayer 75387500/59250 = 1273 effigies left to 200m RC after slayer Using this method to finish out strength Video Link Assuming 65min/effigy that is 0.9231 effigies per hour 118m/80k = 1475 hours .9231*1475 = 1361 effigies 1361-1273 = at least 88 effigies lamps to use on other skills, probably agility. There would probably be a lot more effigies left because of using random even lamps/books on RC and getting a 30k assist once a day every day. And any other D&Ds you use on RC. 1361+1850 = 3211 total effigies from 200m cmb. 3211*11250/2 = 18,061,776 xp for each of, Agil, Hunter, Mining, RC*, FMing, WCing, Fishing, and Thieving. 88*48029 = 4,226,552 at least, extra Agility xp from the extra 88+ effigies (RC*) 88*11250/2 = 495k at least extra summoning xp so you don't have to run as many crimsons. Assuming you kill 700 cave crawlers and hour 1475*700 = 1,032,500 crawlers killed Assuming a drop table of 60% none, 25% green, 10% Gold, 5% Crimson, 1% Blue Green = 258,125, Gold = 103,250, Crimson = 51,625 Blue = 10,325 From the 1m cave crawlers good calcs but 50m str xp from dung, lol
  17. Well, I'll create two examples here and bear with me with the rates I'm going to use, I've only gotten around 2.5m slayer exp since effigies came out so I dont really know the rate. It's safe to assume one effigy every 100k slayer exp, and about one every 3-4 hours, right? EFFIGIES ON SLAYER INITIALLY So if I use effigys on slayer, I could potentially end up with 100m melees, 100m hp, 100m range and 200m slayer (Again, example) and then I have 400m exp to spend however I choose, on cave crawlers or tormented demons. For cave crawlers you'd probably end up with similar melee and ranged exp (from my experience) at about 1 effigy per 100k melee/ranged exp. This will get us 1000 effigies for the remainder of the ranged exp, with 200m more melee exp left over. Assuming tds were mixed in you might end up with something like 5000 effigies maxing out melee? (not considering td rates, I am highly unfamilar with them) which would of course, yield well over 200m rc. EFFIGIES ON RUNECRAFTING INITIALLY In a perfect world, we end up with 200m melees, range, hp and slayer, with about 120m in rc from effigies. This leaves you with no combat exp leftover, beyond some extra magic exp left from cave crawlers. 200m melees/range would likely take longer slaying the whole than rc only It's kind of hard to explain what I'm getting at here, but you probbaly get the gist of it. Spending effigies on slayer allows you to spend the rest of your combat exp at place with far better effigy rates, and it might even be better to do tds/cave crawlers/frosts the whole way to 200m rx rather than slayer Didn't read your whole post but 200m slayer leaves you with 160m attk/str/def or 147 of each assuming you start slayer with 99 melees already lol
  18. @ langer, keep on eye on delta 81 xp hes in apretty good position atm he just beasted out 200m pray looks like he might do herb now and hes got quite a few buyables left i can easily see top 15 for him/her/it
  19. wat about greens
  20. that's just 750 hours of slayer lol yeah its cool the hardest part would be throwing away all that bank stoof Toony still has a bunch banked too doesn't he? He probably wont cannon cave crawlers to 200m def, but if he does he will have quite some more. The only thing left would be to get lvl 97 in the skills he wants to use them in lol. Regardless I think we will see some entertaining xp record days. 400 effigies is 55,211,600xp if used on a 99 skill, or 70,224,000xp if used on 120 dungeon; in what? the 45mins or so it would take to open all of them. Question: is there a limit to how many soulwars points you can save up? I know PC has a limit of 250. Also Drumgun got like 40m+ strength from zeal point which was like 6k or something iirc, so there probably isn't a limit unless its 9999 because jagex didn't want to put another place holder. But if anyone knows for sure help me out, thanks. I Timed it at about 2 hours 20 minutes to open 500 effigies and use lamps last I checked at a realyl good pace ^_^
  21. that's just 750 hours of slayer lol yeah its cool the hardest part would be throwing away all that bank stoof
  22. lol where the helled u hear dat
  23. why rc when you can effigy
  24. why skill when you can effigy
  25. seems genuine so far, havent seen em at all today neither have rest of us i dont think + his tracker is 0 xp gain today
