If only that started earlier in time, maybe I'd be in it as rank 1 :D (thehate took rank 1 from me :( ) Got any screenshots of back then? I also don't see your name on any of the old screenies.

He's paying people 3-4m/hr. There is no ggs in c2, you just teleport to the host. The host is called the gater and the 3rd person is the clearer. The gater has the toughest job. And here's my new hiscores video for you hiscore fanatics:

Depending on when exactly the release is, it may or may not delay SUOMI from getting 200M in all skills. At his current pace, he's looking likely to get 200M all skills around March next year. If the new skill is released before then, it'll take longer, obviously. But somehow, knowing Jagex, I don't think it'll come out that soon. They already said end of 2013/start of 2014, and that's just a rough guess, they haven't even started working on it yet. So yeah, Suomi should definitely get 200M all skills before that. Who? What? Where? When? Link please. I expect Suomi to get 5b around New Years tbh.

I tested it when it came out for a few mins. Even though I did not mastered it or anything of that kind, I understood you don't lose any tick from Woodcutting if you are fast enough. I wonder if anyone would actually be "able" to do it for the entire 200m Woodcutting. Also, I got another idea few weeks ago but didn't ever share. Here is it: Bonfire while Wc teaks: I remember Zarfot saying that he got 95k Woodcutting XP/hr. Now it's 95k Woodcutting xp = 1090 logs (87.1 XP/log) You gain 105 Firemaking XP each log you burn. So, for 200m Firemaking XP, you will only need to burn 1,904,761 logs. That's 165.9m Woddcutting XP. 165.9m/114k= 1455 hours Then you move to woodcutting while splitting at artic pines with dragon hatchet: 200m-165.9m=34.1m Woodcutting XP left. 34.1m/140k=244 hours. 1455+244= 1698 hours. With 1698 hours you do 200m Woodcutting and 200m Firemaking. That's 1844-1698= 146 hours saved and this all is 0 cost. A couple people in TMOA are doing Wcing with bonfire atm.

I haven't tested the bonfire while wcing myself so it *may* be possible that it loses 1 tick from Wcing to actually do the Fming and that's where my friend is getting his lower rate from.

3578 hours at the time of this post. You should C2 Fm. It's 774.3k xp/hr due to the fact that you burn a log each 2 ticks @dung instead of the normal 4 ticks. We already proved that Wc and Fishing is worth it so.... I don't use this in my calculator because I want to calc time left with the methods that top players use nowadays. But anyway: Wc splitting with Adze and use "Drowns method" for the rest of Fm XP: You gain around 38.5m Fm XP from 200m Wc Leaves you with 161.5m Fm XP to do. 161.5m/535k= 302 hours 200m/130k=1538 hours Total of 1840 hours (round numbers) Wc splitting with Dragon Hatchet and use "Drowns method" for the rest of Fm XP: You gain 0 Fm XP from 200m Wc Leaves you with 200m Fm XP to do. 200m/535k= 374 hours 200m/140k= 1428 hours (higher XP rate because you can split more logs) Total of 1802 hours (round numbers) Bonfire while Wc and use "Drowns method" for the rest of Fm XP: You gain 176m Fm XP from 200m Wc Leaves you with 14m Fm XP to do 14m/535k= 26 hours 200m/130k= 1538 hours Total of 1564 hours (round numbers) Bonfire while Wcing is like 85-90k Xp/hr... You can't split so you lose Xp.

It might be possible for Wcing with splitting and Fming while alternating with bonfire and normal fming might be a faster combo than Wcing w/ bonfire. Drowns has a video of the Fming method that says it's about 535k Xp/hr. If you go the Wcing w/ bonfire route, you're sacrificing 44 Wcing Xp to gain 150 Fming Xp. The question is whether that sacrifice is worth it with the alternative of a 535k Xp/hr Fming method. I've tried calcing but my brain is all dead inside atm so I can't come up with any clear conclusion. I'm also taking on faith that Xp rate instead of figuring it out myself.

I'm more interested in the new magic? ability that lets you move 6 squares away in a single tick. Might be a must-have for Agility.

Where do you get that? Edit: I guess it's not out yet, according to RSOF

Well ya it'd have to use up 1 byte (8 bits), but it's still significantly smaller than a whole extra 32 bits (4 bytes).

The String addition thing I mention is just something you would call in the chance of an oveflow, and wouldn't really be incredibly inefficient anyway, just two numbers to add, but not something you would want to be performing every 0.6 seconds. As for the highscore thing, I wonder what Jagex did change, it seems unlikely that suomi would jump from rank 1 to the bottom of the pile, without a change from their end. And I wonder why they did it, was it the intended outcome? Perhaps to avoid many questions of 'Why has rank 1 less XP than me, a 2 month playing level 60'. Well it seems they'll probably have to code a special case for this. Shouldn't be THAT difficult... Depending on the form of the existing code that is. Or you can just create an extra boolean value to act as a 33rd bit (default 0) and any time it is 0 where the math would cause the leftmost bit on the int to be set from 1 to 0 (overflow), you set the boolean value to 1 and don't touch anything else on the int. The 1 would represent 2^32 (assuming unsigned). An extra boolean would be needed if signed (as would be required in java), and would need to perform a similar check, but this time on the previous boolean to see if it is 1 as well as for an overflow on the int. It would also have to change that to 0 when it overflowed again. To demonstrate with only one boolean and an unsigned int: bool: 0 (1 bit) int: 11111111111111111111111111111111 (32 bits) In your mind it'd look like this: 011111111111111111111111111111111 (33 bits) Give yourself 5xp and it becomes this: 100000000000000000000000000000100 (33 bits) Then whenever you want to print the value, if the boolean is 1 then you add the 2^32 value to the value in the int using a string. Since it only needs to be viewed whenever somebody makes the request for it, the server can simply send the bool and int data over and the client can do the combining. This method would also save a lot more memory than going the 64-bit route. Edit: Just realized that java respresents booleans as true or false. Just think 1 = true and 0 = false. I'm a C++ guy so I'm used to thinking of it as numbers. :P

LOL is it because I passed 2x max cash? You passed unsigned 32-bit integer (signed 32-bit integer has the same range below and above zero (-2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647, hence the max cash, unsigned is all above zero so it can go up to 4,294,967,295). It's actually interesting, java doesn't have unsigned data types (except for char, which actually is unsigned 16-bit, but that's something a bit different), the catch is that normal outputs (like PrintStream, e.g. System.out) show them all as signed. I just assumed that they somehow implemented a higher range through some sort of object (think something like BigInteger), but it seems that they have to be somehow translated to unsigned (without using 64-bits or working with objects) I'd love to see how they do it in terms of computing efficiency... Actually they simply do the adding for the total xp off of java using their custom web scripting language (.ws). It's similar to javascript and supports unsigned ints. Java has nothing to do with it.

I remember she used to be with someone with Jayson in their name or something similar. The guy was always hated on by the HLF for bragging about his jmod friends all the time. That's basically all I know about him. I can't remember his full name.

Also thieving, may or may not be the same speed but it is a very fast skill Why is everybody forgetting about Firemaking? Pyrelord easily makes it his fastest skill remaining.

I'd like to see you try to do 150m Agility Xp and 150m Fishing Xp in 150 days lmao. It'd be double that minimum even if he was nolifing 90-100 hours/week consistently. I said 'at least.' I don't know the rates for fishing or agility, so I put them at 2M xp/day. Faster methods will surely be available, and I'm sure that Jake can pull a 90 hour week. 75 days each would be 150 days total. If you would like to calculate the actual time to get those, be my guest. 700k-1m per day is a good pace for agil,[/hide] 2m/day is impossible as there aren't enough hours in the day to do that. I'm well aware, I 'calculated' the times under the assumption that it would be possible in the future, which would in that case mean the max agility rate would be at least 83,333.3 an hour. But that's still being silly. It isn't physically possible to be on 24/7 for months straight. The longest a human being has ever stayed awake (in recorded history) is 11 days, and even then you'd expect to lose quite a bit of Xp/hr. Assume 10-14 hours/day for Jake, not 24. Even that might be higher than what he really does, I'm not sure.

@Gemeos 2 ticks to teleport to fight pits 8 ticks to bank 2 ticks to teleport to monastery 32 ticks from the monastery to the ladder 2 ticks to go down the ladder 10 ticks to the rope 2 ticks to go down the rope 25ish ticks to get to the fishing spot. So it takes 83 ticks to bank, assuming you hurry. If you have to bank every 160 potatoes (to allow room for urns/bait), and assuming you drop rocktails as they come, you'll have to bank every 528 ticks. So you get 16 rocktails (456 xp each w/ urns) every 611 ticks. Assuming a 5800 tick hour, that means 69,258 xp/hour. With t4 cots, you have to bank every 576 ticks. This leads to 130,641 xp/hour. Those tick counts seems a way too low. Look at teleport to monastery, for example. How can you only spend 2 ticks by clicking in the armour tab, go to the ring spot thing, click to monestery, teleport time while moving your char to monastery... I guess you see what I mean. Probably it's more like ~120k or ~125k xp/hr. Anyway, at C2 you get 70k fishing + 70 wc xp per hour (in the same hour). So, for those 2 200m's xp you would need ~2860 hours. Doing your (even) 130k XP/hr method, for 200m Fishing XP you need ~1540 hours and for 200m Woodcutting XP ~1430 hours. Total of 2970 hours (and much more effort and much less realistic to do for 200m XP) Your method would only be a good idea if you are already 200m Woodcutting (and if you are super heroe and don't miss any tick each 3 since you can't forget to count them in your head since you have no sign how many already occoured). You shouldn't lose any ticks by opening the tab and clicking the bracelet, the only time you lose is from the actual animation and lag. Anyway, the method is sorta ridiculous, since you can't feasibly drop a potato every 3 ticks for nearly 3000 hours. Sure you can. Mousekeys would also help ease the load on your clicking finger.

Melee xp was also useless before the effigy nerf Since combat is such a big part of rs a large amount of updates are combat based and its natural for slayer to get faster bit by bit whether it be chaotics or steadfasts. Except splitting at arctics doesn't require nearly as much effort as pyrelord fming or even conventional fming and yet most people that train wcing still do ivy... Most people will jump at the chance for an afkable method that gives decent Xp/hr and won't bother with more click-intensive ones. The reward gap either isn't large enough or the afkable one is simply way too high to begin with. Ivy is what 80k exp/hour and pines are what 120k exp/hour? I think that is a big enough difference (1/3rd) Pines are 120k if not splitting, 130k if splitting with adze and 140k if splitting with dragon hatchet. The fact is that pines are almost as afk as ivy (or even equally afk), the only big deal for some people is the dropping. If you split with dragon hatchet for some more efficient woodcutting experience, you will just get extra 20k xp/hr which is ridicolous low. Yup, it's ridiculously low effort if you dont split. Safe to say between C2 wc and pines ivy is never neccesary anymore, esp as soulwraiths are as afk as ivy [more predictable (10 successes per spawn.)] As for the bonfires, I doubt they'll beat jad lair as that is pretty afk to begin with.. As a side note, there is a much [read 25% better] method of training def (or even all melees) than monkeys, so idk why you use that as a standard. So splitting is a reward of 18% increase in exp? I wasn't overlly pleased when they made Ivy either btw, I did over 100k yews, over 30k mages, over 80k oaks about 2 years before ivy came out. But hey [garden tool] methods get better and so does other ways to make gp. As with life technology gets better so I guess deal with it. That's what I'm saying though. It's only slightly less afk and people still refuse to train there or to split while doing it. Although it does seem that Jake has influenced some people to start wcing there recently with his presence alone.
