Had to make another post tonight since I've had some mad luck with effigies. Had 8 since my last post about... ~8 hours ago. 5 from Steels, 2 from Gano beasts and 1 from Black demons. This being one of my best "effigy-tasks" ever: That puts me at 99/550 - "only" 451 to go.

Last 2 days haven't been very productive in terms of XP. Only done about 8 tasks and don't think I got any effigies. However, in terms of money I've been doing quite well. I lost my hat set a few months ago due to some bad descisons that I'm not going to talk about here. Since then I've been struggling to pay for cannonballs and other slayer expenses and I always had to sell my loot which has been a bit annoying since I love loot-tabs. Anyway, yesterday I went to arena with 200M only to lose it all. After that I pretty much sold everything I had in bank, including slayer gear, which put me at 60M cash. To make it short I got to arond 1,6B before I left for the night. Today I went back and was down 450M at one point but in the end I left with 10M profit. 10M in 3h, 3,33M/h - not too bad. So I decided to put in some offers for Slayer supplies: Looks like I need to make some more ovls and pick some more phoenix feathers soon. Oh well, back to slaying (but I'll most likely return to arena soon enough). Thanks :)

About time I start updating this again. Completely rewrote the first post and changed pretty much everything. Looked up how my stats have changed since I made this thread about 1h 2 months ago.. More than doubled my XP over this period, looks like I've been playing too much, lol. Anyway I'm currently slaying/collecting effigies. Reached 60M attack today. About 15M left for the 1B milestone.

So finally micro-transactions have entered the game. I've always told myself that when you can buy experience I will no longer play seriously. It was fun while it lasted. It's a bit sad to see the game you started playing ~9 years ago sink so low though. Sadly it's all about money these days.

Thats really impressive but how many do you kill p/h? Also don't you have a Pack Yak? What set up do you use? Would have been able to bank 10k dragon bones.. :( Knowing him, he's maging them :P. Low kph, somewhat afk and magic xp. I mix magic and melee. Magic (Full virtus + c staff) is ~60 kills/h and melee (Karils + rapier) is 75-85 kills/h. And I use bonecrusher and Uni because it's semi-afk.

Decided to buy supplies for 50M ranged XP (starting at 35,5) at crawlers. Should keep me busy for a few weeks.

For the first 10h I'll probably pickpocket monkey knife fighters or hunt red salamanders..

I played the dice game for about 4 days last week and in total I ended with around 1b+. I didn't find it hard to get people to trust me, wearing partyhats helps of course. The max bet I had was one 500M and one 550M which I won both of. I also had one guy who "wanted to get cleaned" who bet 100m (He won), 100m again (He won), 200M (He won), 100M again (I won) and finally he bet 300M which he won. Lost about 900M in total to that guy. Anyway if this still works it's an easy way to get money because people do not realize that there's no way beating the odds. It's amazing how many actually believes the "double"-tactic actually works where you more often than not end up risking 10m+ to win a fee of 100k. And lastly, there's loads of scammers around and no real way of finding out who is trustworthy and not and I find it pretty sad how important runescape money is to some that you have to scam to get them.

True, I'll probably be better off looking on RSOF. Yea that's definately an option for when I get time to play more actively, just looking to get some "free" (well, not really) levels while I study for this exam.

Good point, forgot about those rooms. I'd be right beside my computer and with just a buzz on msn/skype etc those rooms wouldn't really slow it down much. Would also check the screen now and then. Hehe, that' cool. Na I don't think it would slow it down that much, 4-10 mins depending on how fast you'd finish the floor normally I'd guess. Lever rooms are doable with 4 but since I'm gonna be right beside the computer I could help with those too.

Did all my floors with friends. Now most of them have stopped DGing. With leeching I mean being in the dungeon just standing in the base while the other 2-4 finish the dungeon. Sure I would be able to open a door if I have the highest skill level but except from that I'd just afk in the lobby. It would make the dungeon a bit slower no doubt but sacrificing ~5 mins per floor for 500k GP might be worth it to some. Edit: forgot about emote rooms but those shouldn't be a big problem. Agreed - getting to 91 Dg is no easy feat. Hopefully, you should know what you're doing - if not, how did you even get there in the first place? Look above, and yea, I know what I'm doing but that doesn't really have anything to do with this.

I remember reading a thread about this in the general discussion forum pre-free trade but I'm not sure if something came out of it. I realize this would be a pretty lame way of gaining xp in dungeoneering but since I really hate the skill and got loads of studying to do in the coming two weeks I'll give it a shot. For large floors 35+ I'd be willing to pay 500k+ (negotiable) per person and floor to leech the whole dungeon. Of course this would only be around 1m(+) GP/hour for you which is low compared to other money-making methods, but I can't see this cutting into your XP-rates that much. It's basically like dging with a random noob who doesn't listen to the leader and depletes every resource - except that you get paid for it. Is the price fair? Anyone up for it? Edit: I'm 138 combat and 91 DG Edit 2: Willing to pay 1m/person and large 35+ floor

Yea, that's my next goal. Gratz, Looks like purple is anything from 595-600 right now so yea but with the current unstable market it's next to impossible to predict what the price will be in a few hours/a few days.

Hehe who knows, first I need to get a rare-set. Only the red one got through. Yea, but I put those offers in and then left for about 30 mins and by the time I came back the market had already turned around again. That's why I paid a bit over the top for the last hats and with some patience I probably could've gotten them cheaper, but ah well.

This is crazy. I sold my hats in GE around 30 mins ago: 2 Blues 1,9 Each, 1 white 1,38M and 1 red at 1,137B. Red just came in at 807M. Now just waiting for the others...
