  1. Zammy pages average value is around 200k each.
  2. back in the good ol days when there were only four random ev.... nvm I found that if i performed the mime perfectly each time i got a piece of clothing. If i failed one or more i was more likely to get new emote. If i failed to many(3+)? i would get nothing. After i got everything i would still get mime events. annoying.
  3. Sweet! ! ! ! ! Getting back up to the price it was when I bought it. If you remember it was 16mill when the TzHaar fit pits came out because it was needed to make it to the 702.
  4. People like this, no mater what things you have to say, will always be around. This is a large number of people throughout the entire world. The business model Jagex has choosen includes serving these people because it ensures the largest customer base possible. No other company provides the same sort of entertainment to the low end technology customer base. Jagex owns this space with Runescape. They have plans for the future though. A quote from the Jagex corperate site.
  5. I will stick with my guth thank you very much.... but... You can add mage exp as a pro for peachy right?
  6. well ignoring the dumn ash flaming going on.... You guys ever think of the financial expence this effort is taking. Jagex needs to pay people to write code and manualy view incidents. So as company funds are aimed at cheaters, funds toward game design are weakened. This means ALL future updates will be known to be of a lesser quality because the funds were not available. Funds needed to acquire the best skilled employees and/or give them the time needed to completely polish projects and vet out the best designs. iz
  7. I'll join in. Going to do some research now. Maybe offer up a diagram proposal.
  8. In my opinion any player, especially a f2p with 6mill, whom is savvy enough earn 20mill is also savvy enough to gather him/herself those items which would give them any legal advantage they can get. put shortly: -flame-
  9. Jagex sends you messages when you are in any kind of trouble.
  10. I see a lot of herbs laying their. You can make more money on the higher lvl herbs than you can from the addy drops. Ranarrs-Kwuarm-Torstol 5k, Avantoe-Catadine-Dwarfweed 2k each. I would say take along a firestaff of some sort and about 50 nats. Alch the addy drops. Take along a chisle to cut your gems. Drop the gems after you cut. Bank when you are full of good herbs. EDIT: Oh and drop the chisle when you are full to make room for one more herb. They are only 2gp each. Also drop the firestaff if it's one of the cheapos.
  11. Yeah that was a large part of my point. Communicate with them in a way that they do not control. Representing a large group of members which would have a bigger impact then individuals. To put in nicely. BTW I got a lot of respect for a guy that actualy attends to his own thread as you have, Blackthought. To many geekygeeks get on here and do browse-bys.
  12. Use ashes with tarromin to make serum207 pots from Shades of Mort̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ton quest. This saves you limps to use later on your super str pots. Also gives 50 exp each, same as regular str pot. So yeah i myself would be happy to come across 50+ ashes :-D I remember when I first became a member. Very first day I got lucky coming across a drop party. I didn't get much, but for a newb it was wicked!
  13. Nice post there, Jake. me too... me three. I avoid talking any more because of stories like this. me four... me five... We can sit in tippy forums and complain about things, I would even offer the accusation that Jagex is after traffic staying on their site for banner income. But... There is only one real reasonable way to resove this issue. Write Jagex about it as a representative group of paying members instead of as an individual complaining in a restrained form which they control. We have a rather active Runescape community here and at rhq whom love the game. Many of whom spend their free time gathering data and writing tutorials, reports, and blogs. I propose we write Jagex a letter which we all sign with our rsnames. Suggested topic outline of the letter: ok i ran out of fuel here.....
  14. Don't give up after the first two trys. Practice, try different terms.
  15. I make tons of money slaying! Current lvl 82 slayer. The trick to making money is keeping money. Which is why I am self sufficient. I get my own herbs from druids, slay drops or farming. Fish for my own food. I make plenty of money slaying to afford guthan repair + keep profit. On average I make 175k item value per hour. This does not include the rare drops (rune plate, half keys,D-stones, D-Legs, clues that actualy pay out 1mill+ in items) Example 1. On assignment at Iron Dragons each trip I gather 220+ bloods x500 = 110k, 2+ rune items aprox. 80k, 12k cash, 30k of alch/or store items and more items if lucky. Of course I spend nothing on pots but the ones I take are worth about 90k. An assignment of 168+ Irons guarantees me at very least one clue. Since November 2005 when I started slaying I have picked up 8 dragon legs/skirt drops. Example 2. Aberrant Specter assignment one trip I take along 25k worth of pots which I make. I leave with a full load of seeds and herbs(ranarr or higher). Also at least one rune large or 2 lava battles. Leaving behind all alch items(addy). Total of 190k in item value each trip. 1 clue at least for assignment of 130+ Specters Example 3. (empty) can't wait to act like I know what I am talking about after lvl85 and my first whip drop :-D The key to making money using your Slayer skill is accomplished in three ways which must be done together. (EDIT: Actualy this is all globaly true to making money) 1. Self sufficiency - make your own potions, gather your own food, and make your own arrows. 2. Self restraint - save your money. Don't sell your herbs. Just because you were lucky enough to come across 15+ ranarr drops DON'T sell them because you NEED cash right now. Save those drops which are used to further advance your Slayer skill. Sell everything else if not needed. 3. Self discipline - Sitting in a bank chatting with your buddies gets you no where. Keep out there and stay active. Don't let your friends draw you back to the bank to craft or smith them something. They can wait until you need to bank. The more consistent time you spend training your Slayer/CB skills the more likey you are of getting those rare drops! ! ! Always stay potted, it speeds everything up. Even if you only have a low lvl herblore it is better than nothing. I know it can get very dam boring. I find it helps to keep the TV or radio on, also another window open with forums/whatever. When you get totaly sick of it though work on another skill. EVERY SKILL EARNS MONEY in some form or another. OMG what are you doing reading forums! ! ! Back to your RS window, you're down to 5 hp! ! ! Eat fast! ! !
  16. yeah, a worldwide dungoen map would be sweet.
  17. Mudskipper Point, south of Port Sarim. Nardah, out in desert. Lletya, out in Isafdar. Coloring of higher elevations has changed from dark brown to dark tan. The darker brown color is now used for roads. Also some detail changes all over the map. Rocks, trees, esc... Water supply west of Tutorial Island??why?? New quest start locations.
  18. After several updates to the world itself we finaly get a map. Nearly 6 months since last one :-\ yes i searched for "world map" :-P
  19. "body runes are so [developmentally delayed]ed" Anyone with a mud staff needs to get ahold of this guy lol EDIT: hmm interesting, i never knew tip it did auto-censorship. Their site i guess.
  20. That would be wicked! Then we would surely know it was all just a devious scheme. Guiled by his enchanting music :o
  21. His 21st post here at Tipppy! He's come of age and hung over at the moment.
  22. Updates are nice. Not everyone likes every update so a wide range of different things give us all something to do. I personally think they once a quarter they should revisit and revamp some things which have proven to be very unpopular over the past year. Integrating newer skills or simply rethinking poor gameplay design. Such as Miscellania. The payout is so bad no one goes back there after they get burnt receiving 4k worth of goods after paying out 15k to the dam people. Not to meantion no exp for assisting them in their toil. The answer may not be higher payouts, maybe just further interaction with your people. On the same note though I think they did a good job at adding shortcuts all over rs getting more use out of the agility skill.
