  1. If you just follow the link I gave to submit a ticket, you can fill it in and they should get it. If you're uncertain about any of that feel free to ask but it should be pretty straightforward :).
  2. Ah, I see. Am I just blind, or is there no soul rift by Burthorpe lodestone? It's 00:10 on the 27th game time right?
  3. What happens with the aura if you have 200M in a couple skills? Presumably they count actions rather than XP, right? Otherwise it could get annoying...
  4. If you can give some more information about your computer that might be helpful, i.e. is it Windows/Mac, what version of OS, etc.? The forum thread [qfc]25-26-8-65380353[/qfc] or submitting a technical ticket to Jagex may be more helpful/faster though, if you want to give that a try.
  5. If you mean the finished longbows (in other words, not the (u)s), the exchange price is 704 and nature runes 232, for a total of 1036, and alch 768. So you lose 268 gp per alch on yew longbows. If you instead sold the yew longs and bought maple longs, the exchange price is 325 and adding the nature rune price yields a total cost of 557, and it alchs for 384. So you would lose 273 gp per alch on maple longbows. So you would lose 5gp/alch more by swapping to maple longbows, assuming you bought all materials for exact med G.E. prices. It's not much of a difference but you would be slightly better off just alching the yew longbows you have now. If I misunderstood your question please feel free to correct me though!
  6. You are indeed right that on Old School it is south of Falador. At the moment though, all of our guides are actually intended for the RS3 version of the game and the altar was subsequently moved to the location southwest of Varrock there. I could add a note though.
  7. It's not much but you have another few hours to steal from the chest in Falador via Thieving if you want. I don't think you will find that much afk though. Pyramid Plunder is probably one of the better options for Theiving. For Hunter you could maybe cash in bonus XP from Heist, but that may not be terribly effective either. It is definitely worth taking advantage of the Big Chinchompa minigame though when you can (and paying attention during it!).

  11. Note: this newspost appeared on the frontpage so I've posted it, but to the best of my knowledge there has not been a system update. Not sure if they're planning one or they cleverly snuck it in last week...
  12. New Auras | Gauntlet of Souls This week's update is a two-parter. Today, we release a massive batch of auras, including all-new options and higher-tiered versions of some old favourites. Then, from 00:00 UTC on 27th October, Gauntlet of Souls breaks free of its shackles and shambles forth from RuneLabs – lasting through the Halloween period for two weeks. As well as its spectacularly spooky new environment, there are some great rewards – including a Kharidian cat pet, gravestone overrides andXP-giving herb burner. Read on to find out more! New Auras Brand new auras are now available via Xuan's Loyalty Store or Solomon's Store. The following come in five tiers, all with benefits ranging from 3-15%: Dedicated Slayer | Slayer kills have a chance not to reduce your assignment countFlameproof | Reduces chance of burning foodFocused Siphoning |Increases chance of successful siphoning at the RunespanThe following are equivalents to the melee Berserker aura – both at tier three: Reckless | Boosts ranged damage and accuracy, at the cost of defenceManiacal | Boosts magic damage and accuracy, at the cost of defenceBrawler comes in four tiers, with benefits up to 10%: Brawler | Increases melee accuracyWe've also added new tiers for the following favourites: Wisdom | Supreme and Legendary tiers, with duration increased to 60 and 90 minutesJack of Trades | Legendary tier, requiring 25 different skills trained in three hours Gauntlet of Souls | Halloween Event - Free-to-Play How to Start Enter the soul rift by Burthorpe's lodestone from 00:00 UTC (game time) on 27th October Requirements None Other Information Combat is safe, with scaling NPCs. The event is accessible to Ironman players. Forged in the baleful fires of Cinderquill's RuneLabs suggestion, this year's Halloween event takes you on a journey to the Underworld – aiding Icthlarinagainst the depredations of Amascut. Jump in the boats to start rescuing souls from the river. Occasionally, special souls will spawn that will grant you XP, in a skill determined by the type collected. Once 20 souls have been collected, you'll be able to to escort the souls across the bridge, fending off Amascut's devourer beasts along the way, using your combat or divination powers. Note that fighting the devourer beasts gives no XP – so there's no risk of earning any unwanted combat XP. Every 15 minutes, the Avatar of Amascut will spawn, and must be defeated. Team up and take the beast down! Rewards You'll earn Noumenon Favour for participating in the event. Also, skilling or training combat on the surface world during the event will occasionally spawn a lost spirit. Calm these spirits for XP, then hand them in to Sinn Derkwill in the Underworld for Noumenon Favour. This can be spent on some unique rewards: Kharidian cat pet.XP lamp: usable on the skill of your choice.Death animation override: Be dragged to the Underworld by a devourer beast. This can be toggled at Death's house.Members also have access to the following rewards: Herb burner: this placeable item can be used to burn herbs for 10x the XP gained from cleaning them. Note that the rate at which this is done is not the same as cleaning herbs.Gravestone overrides: these resemble the jackal and lioness statues seen in the Underworld, and can be selected or deselected at the Keldagrim shop.As another members' benefit, the Underworld is also host to another Ectofuntus. It's much like the surface version, although there's no need to traverse floors to pick up buckets of slime, so Prayer training there is a good deal quicker. Have Fun! Enjoy the event and new auras, and let us know your thoughts over on the forums. The RuneScape Team Live Streams this Week Each week we stream developer Q&As, in-game events and more. Blood barrage in the abyss will finish it nice and quickly, if you don't mind spending cash. If you want something that will make profit instead, you can kill Glacors, if you have Ritual of the Mahjarrat completed, or you can camp General Graardor in GWD.
  14. And now another conversation that never actually happened but is fun to make up: JMod 1: "So, what should the last thing to free the sword be?" JMod 2: "Let's make it a labour of love!"

I never had to do lots of ungraded work, so far anyway. Lucky me!

  18. It is also worth noting that you can also buy a tradeable, consumable version - magical bunny egg, if you like. They can only be traded between players (not on the Grand Exchange), and you consume one upon transforming.
  19. On RS3 you can (fairy ring from Fairy Tale Part 3), but on OSRS you cannot. There was a poll about it and it failed, I believe. You could still do the quest and use it as part of your Defence xp for 45 though. In fact, from a quick Google, it looks like someone has assembled a spreadsheet for an OSRS zerker. Did it have to do with South Africa by any chance?

You mean attaching adamant arrow tips? That would be 10 xp each (done in batches of 15 so the drop would be 150 xp). So you would need a total of roughly 1.27M. You might find it helpful to check out our skill calculators, including our Fletching calculator, as they can be quite helpful in these sort of questions. Also I'm moving this to Help & Advice where this is better suited :).
