It's just something that happens naturally. We've gone through periods of extreme low (ice age anyone) and warm periods. And CO2 isn't the main culprit. It is actually water vapour. Thats what I learned back at school anyway.. And alot of it is media hype, they tell you all about the extreme highs. But what about the extreme lows everyone is having. Isn't the US having one of the coldest winters on record at the moment? Or some country is lol. It's extremes in weather, not just 'warming'.

My brother used to give me the bash quite a bit (nothing serious, you know, the usual dead arm/leg, he managed to give me a dead foot once....). One day I fought back, haha, hasn't tried it since. I haven't been into many major fights, I'm 6'1, 85kg if I haven't been to the gym for a while, 90kg if I've been hitting the weights, haha so people tend to steer clear. Not like I avoid fights, I'm a total [bleep]er when I'm out in town after a few drinks haha.

I got my new car about six months ago. I was thinking of getting; Nissan Pulsar GTi-R '90 - '94. Nissan Skyline GTS-T, prefer the R32 Nissan Cefiro A31, with a RB25DET Nissan 300zx twin turb of course. '90 Toyota Celica GT4 '90 - '93 Toyota Supra again twin turb. And I was also thinking of getting a Subaru, but they are much too common for my liking. I ended up settling for a much more modest car as the insurance companys here aren't too kind to anyone under 25 in any car much less a high performance one. Some insurance companys wanted to charge me $3,000 a year for this stock standard, 2.0Litre car which I wanted to insure for $4,500! I was also thinking of getting an older car, maybe a Holden Kingswood, or a VL Calais. Got close to buying some old Escorts and Cortinas, but at the end of the day, I need reliability, which sadly, you don't often get with old cars. Enough of my gasbagging, here is the pics of the car that I currently own; 2.0Litre (wish it was the 2.5) V6 manual. Haven't done anything to it yet, it was a really good price, only had 112,000ks on the clock, got it for $4,500 which is alot less then standard one. The last owner had it since it had done 2,000ks so it had been looked after. All I have done is put in two 12" Fusion subs in the back running through a 1400W amp, and put in a new headdeck and side door speakers. And I have debadged it haha. I plan on dropping her a few inches, she currently looks like shes set up for off-roading. :lol: And probably get a Y-pipe installed and remove the spoiler, but other then that, won't do much to her. Oh, and here is a pic of my old car; The gearbox eventually burnt out (was an auto) I wonder why. :roll: :lol:

I asked on a computer forum, and someone experianced the same problem. He said it was a compatibility issue with the CPU, as it kinda was running the game at twice the speed, even scrolling through game menus was a pain. He said updating the drivers fixed it for him, I'ce done the same thing, and it seems to have fixed it thus far. Cheers guys.

Ok, I've bought myself a new computer, bought all the parts and a mate of mine helped me build. I'll be playing NFS fine, then eventually, I don't know how to explain it other then superspeed.. It's not jerky or sketchy movement, the car just goes way too fast (not on the speedo). Can't take corner, as a tap of the arrow button makes it do a 180 spin and crash into walls. But this does not happen on any of the other games I have installed on my comp (Farcry, CS: S, CoD2, Serious Sam II, Quake 4, DoW series). The specs of my comp are; AMD64 x2 4600 2.4ghz ASUS M2N-E mobo 2x1gig DDR2-800 RAM XFX GEFORCE 7900GS 2x 250gig SATA2 I usually run the games at the best settings, all the other games have no problem, and even when I make the settings of the crap quality, it still does it. Any ideas? I am running XP home, I have reloaded, a restart of the comp gets it going like normal, but then, maybe after 30 mins of playing, it will do it again. And I also have the newest versions of the patches for both games.

Under a bridge, thats a bit rich for those kind of offenders. May I suggest a new location in a cannon aimed at a brickwall?

I plan on going into the policeforce over here in New Zealand, but not for a few years. I'm 20 at the moment, they have been taking 18 year olds in recevntly, but I do think it is far too young. i plan on going overseas and do a bit of travel, then maybe go into the force when I around 25.

It gets to repetative if you listen to it too much, like Burger King, you know when you burp days later and you can still taste it, kinda like that. Some songs I can listen to all day, but not BH. Just a lot of stupid stuff in it, I think it is pretty overrated. I like it, but not that much.

I highly doubt you'll remember many hip-hop songs a decade from now, they seem to have the shelf life of a opened carton of soy milk sitting in the sun. A new one hit wonder hip-hop artist seems to come about every week, and one seems to slip off the face of earth at the same rate too. Only a few seem to hang around, it's all about the money these days and spinning out as many "big names" as a label can. I wish I was old, so I could of experianced the good ol' days.

Music in the old days was so much better then it is now. Only person I can really think of that will probably be remembered in 20 - 30 years time is eminem, as much as I hate to say it, can anyone think of anyone else thats greatly influenced music lately? I'd like to be good at vocals, have an awesome voice. You can learn the drums, learn the guitar, sure of it's natural, but you can be decent just from learning.. But you're born with a voice.

John Henry Bonhams Moby D!ck, any version, spans from 10 mins to 20+ mins of him just going nuts on the drums. At one part he puts down his drum sticks and just starts hitting them with his hands, haha awesome. Jimmy Pages Heartbreaker, I know the whole thing isn't a guitar solo but hes just jamming for about three minutes. And I'll repeat another one again, Eddie Van Halens Eruption, pretty awesome, I know a girl that can play that. :| (by the way, I've heard that Van Halen are going to do the next "Rock Star INXS" thing, I hope not, but true or false?).

Umm, used to play runescape over a year ago. When I wasn't I was either here or playing arena, out and about with mates or gf. Since I quit, got a job, been overseas, lifes alot better without runescape, haha.

I voted for The Godfather, more of a classic. I wouldn't vote LotR too new for my liking, although it was an awesome movie and shot in my country.

Ok, so theres been guitarist, drummer and everything else, maybe has been vocalist, but I scanned the last 5 pages of topics and couldn't find it. So don't flame me! This one will probably end up being purely who your favourite is, because theres nothing to measure how awesome someones voice is. Well, for me, will probably be Freddie Mercury, will never be another voice quite like his. Silky smooth.

Imo, you haven't experianced Zepp till you've heard 'em live. :) Stairway is a bloody good song, but a little bit overated I think, overshadows alot of their better songs. When you're getting into LZ you'll be all about the Stairway (as was I). But after a while you'll move away from it. My favourite would probably Achilles or No Quarter, plus a heap more. First time I heard No Quarter, I got the shivers down my spine, I still do.
