  1. I reckon I could bag a rich girl, so I was hoping to marry one and divorce her and take half her equity. I may do this a few times to maximise profits.

    Today...

Does anybody remember the tip.it hegemony thread? I need a few more members, PM me if you're interested in playing. Today I watched Groundhog day, and then slept from noon till eleven. I'm currently working on installing microsoft onto my macbook (which I want to sell now) but having a few problems.
  3. Still waiting on: Rocco, Rob, Flodder, Furah, Archi Eight players already.
  4. I'm going to be asleep at 12 http://www.xp-waste....mony-t3817.html Starts at 12:00 GMT - I'm not allowing country combinations Retech, you can only pick one.
  5. The thread will be created Saturday 12:00 Midnight GMT and summarily start then. Picking countries will be first come, first served regardless of past claims - so be there quick. Also, though I've invited a few old members there may not be enough. So please talk to friends and see if they would be interested.
  6. White lies are pretty acceptable, it's not really doing wrong if you're doing these things to keep them happy. It's in the same vein as saying that you like somebody's haircut, you may not like it but you claim to like it to appease them - this is how relationships work.
  7. Definitely agree. People can have such childish views, I really don't know why people have objections to these sorts of things - it's like gay marriage, there's nothing wrong with it - it's just that people seem to want to get involved and claim that everything is morally wrong because it's something that they're not fond of doing. Also, I think there's a bit of a 'fox and the grapes' thing going on in this thread, with people claiming that they wouldn't have multiple partners.
  8. Just seen flight, a thoroughly enjoyable film. Definitely worth a watch. Did not like the ending.
  9. People should be allowed to have secrets in a relationship, especially if they're secrets that don't actually impact on the relationship in any way. I understand if it's a secret that is actually having an impact on the relationship, such as if they were dealing drugs and there was a risk that the girlfriend had - but as it stands, there is nothing like that. I trust them with most things, I trust them to go to the shops and cook food. I trust them to be in my house occasionally but I really don't think that trusting them with the other parts of my life is necessary. You need to really need to evaluate your worldview, if you think people should share all their information with their partners. Somebody like you would have me sharing facebook account details, phone numbers, fears, allergies and all sorts of ridiculous things. In response to Kaida: I think I need to rephrase. While I would say that they are FWB they are more on the border of the girlfriend/FWB thing and I really don't think it's any of their business. They are invested in me on an emotional level, and to a degree I am as well.
  10. I think you're actually being rather offensive in your delivery of this, and though I shouldn't have to explain myself to somebody who is being abusive over the internet I will go ahead: I am not disregarding anything, I am just secure in my knowledge that they will very likely never find out. While they might not like it if they find out, they won't so it's not actually hurting anybody's feelings. And they trust me, and I trust them.
  11. Traditional, I just don't tell them. I travel around a bit and don't have Facebook so it doesn't really matter.
  12. Relationships work better when you have something to work towards or a common interest. Working on bettering her is a great thing to do that I would recommend in nearly all relationships. I have three girlfriends, and so I think I know what I'm on about. One of them has this fitness problem and I'm working with her to improve it.
  13. This is a positive only thread. You are only allowed to post responses that agree with me.
  14. I don't really understand the rationale of having the zombie survival thread in Falador Tavern. It's unused since it's a pretty dead board and it's not even a game. Can we move it back to its rightful place? http://forum.tip.it/topic/172967-zombie-plans-revised/
  15. Happy Birthday, Mate :)

  16. I think it's a legitimate point, regardless of whether they're in power they should have a sense of integrity when it comes to the management of such a large forum. It's a strange feeling that you're not allowed to publicly criticise a ruling which is intentionally there simply to prevent anybody actually knowing what others have been banned for. It's even worse when there's a chilling effect of anybody actually calling the admins out on this sort of thing, they may even choose to censor this post (even though it doesn't break any rules) simply because they can't stand criticism. Pretending that it's somehow not right to give your views in a forum (OT) dedicated to discussing opinions, in a thread pertaining exactly to the topic is preposterous. Seemingly, the attitude among tip.iters we need to tread carefully around any subject for fear that it might offend the malevolent and autocratic moderation and that they are likely to take any discussion about whether they are doing anything right as a personal attack against them. While I don't feel the moderation is particularly malevolent, I just feel that by not allowing discussion, for no real reason - you're just trying to prevent us from comparing to see if there is a level of consistency in the moderation or whether you're just simply adding rules as a display of power. As I see it, there are two possible occurrences. 1.) We are not allowed to see it, despite nothing shady going on. This is a fallacy because there would be no reason to hide it if nothing shady were going on . 2.) We are not allowed to see it because something shady is going on, and the moderation doesn't want us to know about it. Either way, without letting us discuss the topic - moderation has effectively created a chilling effect surrounding the discussion of warnings, which is awfully suspicious because there would be no reason to. I can understand the logic in not criticising admins for your warning, but to put a complete blanket ban on people discuss their warnings is effectively saying that warnings come from the autocratic moderation and that if we are to discuss whether we feel it's right or not we will be banned. Frankly, it seems obvious to me that something is being covered up but since we're not even allowed to discuss it and make that decision ourselves reasonably we are stuck in the dark.
  17. Why? I'm not sure why they're supposed to be secret, is it just so admins can ban whoever they want without any sort of consistency - just ban the people they don't like, and when people compare they see that they are being unjustly targeted/let off easily? Seems ridiculous
  18. this is like 0.02 Terrible, it used to be higher on my other network where it was 20

    Today...

Played Minecraft, 7 hours For lunch I had Medium Rare Venison with a homemade rasberry coulis. Definitely recommend venison, it's not available everywhere though.
  22. I'm a fan of the fact that Game of Thrones really is an 'all in one' series, whereby you get your fix of drama, comedy, horror and porn - sometimes all at the same time.
