Sure you can take them from the sig, I just found it funny that you forgot to flip the hats. It looks a bit weird now that some of them are the other way around. Btw, you can find the pics from http://www.runehq.com

A bit darker, made the sample text more subtle.

Thanks for comments guys. GSW, the job was made freehand as said and it can perhaps best be seen with the ear. It is too high in relation to the eyes. For the brains I looked at a few shots from google to get idea how the veins are placed. Then I just filled her up with them. I must admit I couldn't draw a face without the mirror reference. It actually turned out a bit off the original pose of my head. It's more from the side than intended. Well, this was actually the second time I used the pen tool. The first was the road in the holden signature....a single shape.

*tries out his creditability* Dude, it sucks! *gives up, nobody will believe me* :cry: A bit more contrast would make it better. The pure white color of the text and the black border makes the text perhaps stand out too much. You haven't really even tried to blend the tupac (or whoever...don't recognise the name) to background. Perhaps give it a shot next time. Now it just sits on an abstract. The "wow" factor is very low on this one. One forgets how it looks while writing one's opinion on it. Too mellow 7/10

Yeh, I didn't mean to discourage you at all. Half a year ago, I was pretty much at the same state as you are now. Try reading a few tuts and kick off there. You may get good, but it takes more time and more effort than your last try.

When you started making the sig, were you planning it to look like that? I highly doupt it. That is a 1 minute job that could be made by anyone (anyone that has PS). Please do not clutter up the boards with posts like this... :? Try harder, go further.

I don't know at all what the book is about...a shame it is. So my sig might be a little off. Anyway. I noticed that it is a little light.. I'll fix it if you want (..it at all).

It's a boring RS sig with no background. Well, I'd give it a fiver since the character is ok, lots of improvements needed. PS Be prepared to say bye bye to your siggy. Way over limits.

erm, actually he is nude all the time. Unless you want to rip the shell off... Btw, there is nothing wrong with .jpeg. Many people here falsely accuse it due to MSpaint's horrid .jpg coding (50% or so...). Many people think that abstract and brushed signatures should be made .gifs but that more often than not is untrue. Almost no signature (not talking about pixels) has less than 256 colors and dithering looks worse than the unnoticable .jpg packing. .jpg is great and every sea creature I've ever brushed is Pro-JPG. (goes to draw his anti-turtle mascot...[as if!])

Well, I'll post my entry in public now. Sent it trough PM before the "closure" because it didn't quite fit the original request. Anyway, just to let you guys see it. It's pretty much different from my usual style. Nothing staggering. with the additional text... and without. taking account the fact that my display is mega bright...I made a slight gamma correction.

Nope Demoris, it has nothing to do with an open mind (open minded is in Finnish "free minded").
