Use the color amount and lossyness sliders. They are located somewhere around the Image Ready interface.

Because there is nothing I hate more than dithering and colorloss I won't animate this. But anyway. Hope you like it (I didn't find a suitable place for the combat lvl. Tell me where you want it and I'll add it). This was another one of those projects which seem great at first but finish far for the goal. Well, I think it's ok anyway.

aren't those waves the exact same from the old sig? Other than that I like abstracts that still look like something more than just random shapes. It's pretty plain. :(

I would have fixed the shadows...at leas the ink bottle. And well, however you play the "I liked it twisted like myself" -card I think at least the ink bottle could be drawn from the right angle. But glad if I could help with the legs and the table at least. :D The new moon thingy is more subtle perhaps better than my mega supa glowy killer moon. :wink: . When I saw it the first time (the version with the window) the colours struck me as great. They still do. It's a thing a rarely can make.

Who the hell spends 5 hours making a sig, i sure dont.... take the signature Azvareth is wearing for instance. About 1 hour to get the main dolphin brushed (getting the idea and trying to make it look like a dolphin) about 25 minutes for the second one. 45 Minutes for the whale. More than an hour to compile it into a working signature. First post to tip.it. Correcting things for about 45 mins. Then tweaking the thing for azvareth more than one hour. I'm postitive I spent about 5 hours on that. Yeh, I'm slow, but the dolphins and whales are all made on 600x600 canvas and the whole sig originally in 300x600. On topic: Good point Azvareth.

The "blur" is the type of shadow the iPod commercials have. Or at least tries to emulate it. It works better in the full size version. (btw it's a shape filled with gradient...not blurry :wink: ) You are right about the hats looking like "night caps". Thank you.

Thanks for commenting. GSW, that could of been better, though it would have been harder to see where the hat is and where the head/body is. Now the hat is used as the "headpointer" at least in the blue one.

I'm only speaking my opinion, but it looks like static to me. I think mah screen's broken... ^^ Seriously, your friend should practice more, and try and get a little better before posting pics. It's good that you want feedback, but get feedback from people you know will answer honestly...mom, dad, brother, good friend, teacher, etc. Well, like you are in any real postition to speak. That is a great way to get snow animation into 30kB. I'd like to see you come up with a more authentic solution. (And yes, I live in Finland and it does rain snow here....) EDIT: Just noticed the thread about you sig. Compare the ratings, who do you think should go ask help from his lil sister? :roll:

You must know that those are the elite of the freehand work posted here (only a few). So though I'll only criticize, it's still...ya know. Get more contrast to them. That's all.

Ohh, the holidays are here. Traditional Christmas card time for our family. About fifty lucky people/familys get the yearly enjoyment of seeing my and my brothers' faces smiling with snowy backgrounds. Well, up until last year after all. This time there are no faces visible (so I think this isn't against the forum rules...the figures cannot be recognised), which caused my father a seizure..(a weird old man). As a die-hard mac (and now iPod) fan the choice for this years card was simple. An iPod add! Without iPods though. The one seen below is 20% of the original which you can see via the link (many mega pixels and 600kB for pristine print quality). I won't say who I am, cause you'd all turn green of envy. (No, I cannot do a handstand: it's me on my side on the ground shot from 3 meters above). A note. On my display the silhuets aren't completely black, which is intended as the real commercials aren't completely black. jab, I said I sent him a sampled one...over the unsampled i sent at first. Good thing you came back, you must understand our concerns though. Hope this incident will not affect the decision.

I'm not a sorry looser if that's what you are implying. I just feel that maladrin's leader sig's drop shadow should drop him down on the list. And that sluchie's sig, which has the viridian man hardly visible isn't too striking. I would place them differently. That's all.

Really..there is two things in that picture made with pixel brushes. Everything else is made with PS. (assumably). The result...well frankly anyone with PS and a hand (or perhaps a leg will suffice) can draw it. Then you call it pixel? argh.

Since Demented hero never was interested in this sig, I could modify it for you. I'd just need a 4 word quote for the place of the name and perhaps add your name with blood to the right. Tell me if you are interested.

Well, I doupted you "made the vector" from the top, but I had to have a go at it myself. I mean with photoshop filters. This is a fast result from cutout filter... Now tell me. How much "vector" is it? :? Or did you trace a filtered image?
