  1. Very nice work. I like the color choice. Only thing I see is try and blend the brushing in some more, maybe erase the edges or tone down the layer fill. Nice job, 8/10
  2. Err, Well, since my last creation seemed to be a bonified flop, I tried again and through perseverance came up with this. I kinda wanted a clash between simple and complex, I think I got it. And before you say it, yes I know the font s u c k s. Rate it flame it, whatever
  3. Very nice man. I like how you add your own little flavor to it. The original IMO is the best. Has a nice flow, and not to busy  Gj :D
  4. I didnt think I hid her hair that much  Its supposed to be like a windy thing. i know you didnt mean to hide it, but just the pic itself. Well, the top part I had to hide to make it fit. I think Ill remove the pic and draw something there
  5. I didnt think I hid her hair that much  Its supposed to be like a windy thing.
  6. Hmm, I might try this out, give me a day or so  EDIT: Nevermind, Im not going to be entering.
  7. Was messing in PS again, came up with this. Should I use this as my current? Rate or comments welcome

Its a bit empty. I just keep getting that feeling. The brushing is very nice, maybe add a bit more color? It flows very well. 9/10, nice job
  9. Oh s*it man  , that's really neat ! You are on lead in this competition  . Gienek, that's cool, but try harder if you want to win. I didnt even think it was any good at all, glad you like it though
  10. Well, heres something a bit different. Its plain, but thats what I was shooting for. The quote can be changed if you want  I know my literary skills need more sharpening. If any changes, poke me
  11. the highest tip brush i used was 4, i just duplicated the layers and used gaussian blur =\ Ok, thats why the stars looked so blurry. Dont blur them at all  They will look much more realistic
  12. Mine will be done in under an hour. Then ill edit and put it here  :D EDIT: Well, here is my first try. I have a killer idea for a second one, hopefully I will try it out. Anyway, first try.. any changes, like text or whatever can be made
  13. Definetly blend the sun lines in more, and the text and the color of it leaves something to be desired IMO. Overall nice landscape, 8/10
  14. Good for a first try  Try not to use an airbrush for the stars, you can easily tell they were made by an airbrush. Use the hard-tipped brushes. Also, set the brush filter to "vivid light", and this will help the stars to be brighter. Also, make them smaller, between 1-5 pixels.
  15. That font is making me ill. :P Please change it. Overall its ok, a bit busy, there is no flow or defining focal point. 8/10  You can do better, Ive seen you do better
  16. Basically, there have only been 3 people who have done sigs that are inspired by Kahn. And the smiley sigs are just a fad, who cares if people like them. Im sick of people complaining about this. If you dont like it, then leave. I apoligize for the spam.
  17. you can't really say that, you don't know if this is their best work or not... if you look into it, it took quite a bit of skill, many of us on this board take this for grantit but you can't say someones work is better then others when to each his own. thats my opinion anyway Jlr If you look, I said "IMHO- In My Humble Opinion" Although I do see your point, it may or may not be thier "best" work. I just took it all at face value. I realize it still takes quite a bit of skill to pull of those type of sigs.
  18. Can we get a list of who comes in what place as of today?
  19. Actually, they arent as good as Kahn or even as Demented IMHO :? They are very un organized, not as smooth and subtle. And to be blunt, the women are ugly :P Also, it helps when they dont "stand out" as much. The linework is ok. All around decent
  20. Lol its rather funny. To me its sad you have to make a sig to make a point. Its really stupid when people blow something into a big deal. A million land/space/abstract are made that look like twins. Its kinda wierd what sets people off. Ahh well, its a funny sig, nice
  21. Eek, competition ;) UnkowKiller, is he makes a better one, dont immidatly buy it, cause then Ill try again :P Ooh yeah *rubs hands* Let the game begin 8) I hope Froth joins this one too 8)
  22. Hmm, well I do not like the explosion, its lacking something. Also the text is getting old as fast as my computer is, try some more  It needs some more linework, its lacking that. Still, its nice, keep at it
  23. Ill try this one, just because its for RSC cash :P Im gonna try to beat out demented in the battle of the brushes 8) :D
  24. Ok, so im guessing by two people you mean Me and DementedHero? Incase you didnt know, I have always had this "sort" of style, even way back in scapeboard, ask any of the older artists. Demented is just getting into it. SO WHAT?! I think its great people are learning to make sigs like these. A million abstract sigs and landscapes look alike, so what? Its people learning. You have to grasp that not everyone can come up with a certian style all thier own. A million people wear Gucci shoes or Prada handbags, you gonna sue them for wearing the same style?:?' ON TOPIC: Its a great start, you definetly have the concept. Keep working on filling in all the empty places
  25. Err, well, I write poetry inbetween art and things, so I guess I have an over-imagination that tends to look corny. The colors represented the "cold" linework represented the calculation of it all, and December just hit me. Corny, but hey, it works
