What type of border?

I was wondering if there are any good Vector Tutorials, like how to vectorize an image like a photograph, that anyone has. Ive already done a bunch of searches, and all I get is "vector shapes", which I already know about. Im trying to make a wallpaper for my computer, and have a photo I want to vectorize, then add to. I have never done a vector, and was wondering how. Anywho, post a link, or whatever you got on this subject. Also any advice you may have is great. Thanks Royal~

Hmm, well for a first, not bad :wink: At least you did something with the text, which most dont. I like the drop shadows on the text and spear also. I just love them shadow effects :D The background needs some more work, but for a first, I give it a 6/10. Keep at it, youll get in the swing :wink:

Heh, pretty nice. Try more darker colors though, like black, deep red, or blues. They pretty much stick to those colors. :wink: Nice overall, I have that same brush pack :D

Well, the sad thing about this is it is real. My cousin comitted suicide about 7 months ago that way, so its very real for me. Well, on the graphical side of this peice, its detail is good, and pretty proportional to real life. Try adding maybe some words that mean something to go along with this, it screams to have a good poem/literary work in it :wink:

Well, here is my shot. Trust me on a thing, having stats on a sig totally RUINS it. If you need them, put them underneath the sig, itll look much better. If you want anything changed I can change it, probably will hate the color, Ive kinda been on this orangey (sp?) thing. :P

The shadow is wacked :? It looks like the whole world is tilted and the smoke is leaning toward the ground :? The devil/angel looks like it was made in paint. Overall ok, just needs some work.

I like the smily, he looks like my dunken old uncle :wink: The sig is also nice, although I've always hated that pixel font :? Take off that grid overlay too, I think that would look much better :wink:
