I would, but not for too long. The pixel craze is getting a bit out of hand, you could say. Probably because now anyone can do it, using default Paint, instead of needing Ps or PSP or what-have-you. So, I would, but dont stray too far into it. :wink:

Very true. Many people/teens lose thier grip of it, and use it as a drug, to get a buzz or get loaded. I drink because I like it. Simple, but a good simple. Font needs to be anti-aliased, looks a bit pixely. Other than that, neat concept, nice, simple and smooth. 8/10. :wink:

i typed who made it..even on the crappy sigs, and we're just "socializing" not spaming, the media board needs a little life... and it's really sad that u just went through all the pages....really realy sad....but no fence :roll: If you would have read, I specifically said I DIDN'T scroll through them, as they are just plain crap. I think it has plenty of life, and if you think this isnt spam, please tell me what classifies as spam, because all im seeing is a bunch of people posting 3 worded posts and crap. I just dont like to see the media board look like the Off Topic section :roll:

I have been busy, and was only able to do like 10 minutes work on it. Im going to pass it on to dex, and its his baby from there. :wink: Soon as he gets on msn :P

Why does this post even exist? It seems like one major spam fest for people who have nothing to do with the media board. I might be wrong, didnt take the time to scroll through 38 pages of crap, but I'm shocked that a mod hasnt locked this. As for the sigs, they're crap, to be short. The "Better ones" are better, although are they even yours? :? Although the topic doesnt even pertain to sigs or any type of artwork, its just children posting :roll:

We going to have a theme? For me i dont care about size or anything, just so long as its above sig size. I think we are doing a 1024 X 768 anyway;)

Yeah, id say from WallPaper size on down, doesnt really matter. To me, anything goes. Stocks, renders, whatever. Up to Demented, since hes throwing this :wink:

Oh, and shaw, the font is anti-aliased :? Lol, that looks like the same font youve used on all your sigs :P As for color spots, the wings. Make little slivers of color in them, not sure what would go though. Maybe a lighter blue, and some bits of purple highlights. Also near the top, theres a brushing that leads into the biomech, that could use color streaks to liven it up ;)

Hmm, I love the color choice :D Its an overall good peice, you can tell it was made by you without your name being there :wink: The little flying bits/strokes kill it for me though. It creates friction with the whole peice. Takes away from an otherwise flawless flow. 8/10, fix that and maybe add a bit more color, maybe some linework around your name, and for god sakes, use a different font!!!! :P :P :D :lol:

Im not likeing this as much as your sigs. All it is is a render, the brushing is out of place. Doesnt look real. I know ntohing like this CAN be real, but you know what I mean :S No linework makes it look incomplete. Also, the render is blotchy in some areas, a side-affect of 3dsMax. I give it a 5/10. Work on linework, blending in the brushing, and such. You can do better, your sigs prove that :wink:

Firstorm- Love the render, also like the color choice. Downside is the linework. To bulky to be really realistic, also everything could be brighter to show more detail. And the right side looks a bit wierd to me. Exaft- A nicely done peice, although waaay to similar to your current. The brushing isnt really defining, and more like, blotchy, not smooth. The linework is out of place, and the font stinks. Although I do like the detail on the upper right side. So, my vote goes to firestorm, its pretty nice, one of his better, if not his best one. May the best man win :wink:

Is this another pixel contest, or are all entreys excepted? If so, I might try.

Well, to start off its very plain. No focal point, no flow, no real eye-catcher. The quality also seems to be very poor. Very pixel-ish. The linework is way to big, also to defining. Needs to be lowered (opacity)a whole lot and also made smaller. The bryce peice itself is very dark, if it were brighter that would make it better. Also, its very unoriginal. Not that thats a bad thing :wink: 6/10.

How true. The pixel craze wore out its welcome weeks and weeks ago. Yet its still around. *kills self* Nice sig Vlad. One of the few who can say they did that fad justice. Its an awesome sig, by far your best. Looks very proffessional. 10/10. Dont get those very often from me, but its a super funny concept, and the golf theme just fit it perfectly. :wink:

thanks i'm liking the bottom one too (since it took more time and i'm quite satisfied with my brushing for once), the last one was originally 300x150... i thought it would be easier to work with but then i thought it was too empty and i was bored with my linework style so i just threw it out :? hmm as for color how do you think i should add it? more brushing with a different color maybe? Hmm, I think the renders would look very nice in a blue. As for brushing, what I would do is try some mellower colors, that go good with blue. Maybe a light pink, or lighter blue, or heck, just about anything :P experiment :wink: Just do a base color layer and work off of that. Although since it is a Bryce abstract, you might want to have a sharper contrast, as peices in bryce go good with sharp colors and bright contrasts rather than subtle and smooth. Try whichever :wink:
