I threw one together yesterday that's not quite as strong as next gen for like $425, which included OS+mouse+keyboard. The almost constant sales on PC parts if you look around makes it that much cheaper.

Holy hell where do you live? That's nearly enough to build a high end PC here in the states. That article is funny, I wonder how much he was paid. :razz: Consoles are still entirely underwhelming, and have been since I built my own computer. It just doesn't seem like the developers are pushing hard enough. Could always hope that Valve's console comes out amazing, but I won't hold my breath.

How many people are needed to complete the temple part of the quest? Also, anyone feeling nice enough to come w377 and help out? is 3 or 4 people here atm Took about 8 of us I believe, wasn't as bad as I expected.

FPS games are one of the most popular and play horribly with a controller. Also, the cost of an xbox 360+next gen xbox will total more than the components of my computer, which is better than the two of those combined. The whole "consoles are so much cheaper" arguement isn't even valid in the long run. If consoles are your thing that's fine, but they bring nothing to the table anymore.

Why would you buy a new computer every other year? My computer from 2008 is better than next gen consoles, meaning it'll be better than consoles for another 9 years at this rate. Consoles do not play new games nearly as good as new computers. Most games on console run on a resolution that you'd expect from the early 2000s, and many have a limited framerate, which isn't acceptable. Mouse+KB is vastly superior in some genres, but other than that it's down to personal preference, so there's that. Console controllers do work on PC flawlessly, however.

Pre-ordered it as soon as I could, by the time it came out I was playing Path of Exile and just couldn't get in to it. Someday I'll finish it though.

PC are already 3 years ahead judging by next gen console specs. Anyway, they've pretty much went down the CoD route. Hell, they are even openly admitting they want to compete with CoD. New "engine" still won't compare to BC2 destruction, and nothing else looks different in a big way. Won't be buying.

There is so much recycled from Bf3 and MohW (which was horrible itself), and this is singleplayer we're looking at. I can wait to see multiplayer reveal. I'd rather not be even more disappointed.

Well that's completely underwhelming.

The respec isn't really that hard. Unless it was changed you get two respec points per act in each difficulty. With a little planning you shouldn't really need more than 12 respec points if you mess up. There are also orbs of regret, a one use one respec point item, which you will get as loot or can buy. There's always a respec option, at times you may need to farm/buy respecs, but you'll never be locked in to your decisions entirely. As for server restrictions, no. Your character is locked to your league and that's the only restriction I know of. At the moment you have the choice of default and hardore (aswell as daily community events, which aren't permanent). Further down the road however more leagues will be introduced however, such as world pvp leagues etc.

No character building is possibly the single most disappointing thing about Diablo 3. Haven't had a chance to play much since OB started, played quite a bit a few months prior. If I start up again I'll let you know.

If they simply refuse, buffing bosses is the next best thing. edit: even if they went with some of these suggestions I still don't think it would get 75% yes

They would need to buff arma, possibly bandos. Those would be the big game changers.

Gwd shouldn't be able to be done solo, or even close, if it's added.

It's a casual shooter aimed at casual players, not a simulator. The aim is balance, not realism. Make sure PB isn't being blocked by firewall or antivirus. Could also try manually installing PB.

I'd be fine with GWD if they could balance it in some way. The only way I could think of doing that is completely removing the unique boss drops and replacing them with something to make GWD worth doing but not make it totally destroy other money making methods.
