Again, you claim that the majority of 13 year old players or under are immature, so you might as well blame yourself. Like Duke said, age has very little to do with maturity, so we can all blame the 13 year olds before that set the examples for the younger kids to act like the morons they do now. So that means it's us older people's fault, is it? And still, you complain that the 13 year olds are immature? I think you guys are the ones who are immature, complaining about how 13 year olds act like idiots. There are 2 simple facts, whether age has alot to do with maturity, or it's because the people around them influence them to act the way they do. Whether either conclusion you people end up with, you might as well kill everyone 13 years or younger, and start a clean world, while setting a good example of exactly HOW you want them to behave. You people who claim you are older and more mature, shape the enviroment for the young, so why do they act like they do? It's because it's all our fault. YOUR fault. Well, here's the list! :D 1) JaGeX can make a new item that the mysterious old man gives to you, and it's called a "bomb". If you don't drop it within 2 seconds, you will die and you'll lose EVERYTHING. 2) JaGeX can make a new weapon that reduces your strength by 50 lvls. 3) JaGeX can make a new monster that drops nothing, and gives 1 exp per kill, but takes at least a team of 10 to kill. 4) JaGeX can make lvl 100 NPC pkers in the wilderness that can attack anyone, regardless which lvl in the wildies you're at. 5) JaGeX can make a new item called a dragon ninja sword, which when you equip it, you can't take it off, and it's attack power will go down by 5 every 30 min, until it reaches zero. You will then have the option to pay 5 million gp to take it off. 6) JaGeX can make an update so that you will get logged off randomly when you are in the wilderness. 7) JaGeX can make an update so that F2P servers will crash on christmas and never come back. No, most,(i know some for sure), will stay F2p. They will only use an item shop that allows you to buy items you can't get in the game, but the items are such as speed ups, temp atk increase, etc...Yes, they are in alpha/beta phase, but even so, IF runescape were to have a trial, the people who can't, or just don't want to pay for runescape will resort to those games, other than play a Java based game with "ok" graphics. I went to alot of the "big" game forums, and whenever runescape is mentioned, well, I guess the author gets a flame attack. Yes, the gameplay might not be as good as runescape, and i'll give it that, and only that. Those Koreans who create those fancy graphics, splendid music, and crap gameplay are improving I guess. They just need to get the lvling system a little easier, and more gameplay :wink: . Probably THE best 3D MMORPG made by koreans is ROSE online. Although it's combat based as most other Korean games, there are just so much choice of weapons and armor, and things to do. It doesn't make you do 50 million clicks to enough money for good weapon. (Another flaw for korean games, the way to make money is just TOO hard, as getting drops from monsters is the only way to make money). I guess you could call that a milestone for those koreans. The reason runescape is fun is because there's so much to do, and is probably the only game i know that nearly reflects "real life". (Another reason i quit runescape is because it's becoming more of an afterschool hangout, or a second life for me. But maybe not for some, or most of you). I still play games now, but not as much, and addicted. The only game i play now is gunzonline(mmofps), which is really fun. I'm trying to stay away from MMORPG's, which just takes up too much of my time.

I say a no for the hall of shame, because some "noobs" might take it the other way, and make it so that they are recognized throughout runescape, trying to make themselves more popular, noticible. Other than that, if those penalties were to be put in runescape, JaGeX would have to pay as much attention to the current abuse reports each day as listening to every noob in runescape whine each day about more free stuff.

I think that the Kalphite Queen, and KBD should NOT be an NPC. What I mean is that JaGeX should have some of it's crew control it. That would make it a worthwhile trip and experience.

I disagree with the fact that all non-runescapers shouldn't be on these forums. Sure, i might not play runescape anymore, and not planning to return to it anytime soon after I die, but for me, well, let's just say I like discussions and posting ideas on improving this game. But ya, that answers your question. Anyways, some good points from replies here. I'm not trying to say that runescape should be ENTIRELY based on a storyline. What I did say though was that they could have an ENTIRELY seperate storyline for a very big "quest", if that's what you want to call it. In fact, I thought of something better. Maybe runescape could make "tutorial island" an RPG entirely based on storyline. It would give sorta like a background quest for runescape. What were it's origins, or how it all started. For some who can't wait to lvl up, you can skip it if you want. BUT, there is a reward at the end of the "introduction RPG". Say, maybe some combat exp, and a little exp here and there, and better equipment for starters. I think JaGeX should involve with it's players more, rather than throw them out all alone into the "world of runescape" with a bronze hatchet, a tinderbox, a bronze sword, a wooden shield, and a shrimp and bread (and other pretty useless items, if you ask me). For those who like to do endless hours of chopping or mining, well, I guess that's just you (Not saying that it's bad, but everyone has different views of "fun").

Hmm, try doing a "disk cleanup". (right click on c:drive icon, and click properties. There will be a disk cleanup option.) Also, I think that if you disable the touchpad, only the mouse would work, and viseversa. You said that MSN was running as well. It's best not to use the beta version of msn, as lots of malicious programs can get in from that. Other than that...i guess you have to check that your video driver or graphics card is updated and patched. :?

Go to C: drive, documents and settings, "your account name" folder, desktop, and try to delete it from there. If it does not appear there, then it's probably a bug, a glitch, or malicious software. OR you could try restoring your entire comp...

Hm, I think you might have misplaced the router position in the network. My internet goes off sometimes, and I have to restart my comp. But that's because i ain't usin XP professional so it's not fully compatible with our home server, which acts as the router.

Hmm, either you spilled water on it, or you pushed on or hit the screen often, which might have damaged it a bit. OR check that cables are all connected properly like grin king said, and make sure you have the latest patches and updates from the ATI website.

Um...i think registering means confirming your code for your purchase of the OS (Microsoft Windows XP CD). I don't know how your friend got away with it, but it's like Nadril said, patches and updates are important. Your computer will be vulnerable to virus attacks if you don't have the latest updates and patches, so ya.

Lol the forums aren't slower than a 56kps modem. The forums are actually quite fast most of the times. But sometimes, they just like lag out big time and take like 1 min+ to load a page...Overall the speed doesn't bother me.

K i have a ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 card for my notebook, and when i launched fraps, it gave a warning saying that my catalyst drivers were out of date. It required at least V 5.7 Catalyst for my graphics card. I went looking on the website and i downloaded the catalyst for it, until i realized that it wasn't for Mobility. So i went to the mobility catalyst drivers section, and all they supported was the x800 and x700 series. I mean fraps works "ok", wait, it lags my gaming BIG time especially on Gunzonline. The recordings also show huge lags. Does anyone know the solution? thanks.
