  1. sorry to make you feel bad, but this section is for the lenthy guides not just little tibbits, also theres the fact you got quite a few spelling errors.... perhaps you should have checked the rules before posting. However nice of you to try.
  2. pro: Faster selling/buying (overall) Con: Worst-nightmare if merchant (as just about all prices are dropping) (im in this general area)
  3. not sure if i should bump this but thanks for mentioning me (was searching for a post that had my name in it and found this lol)
  4. thank you, i plan to do a little more updating to it sometime in the future (any comments?)
  5. blue_[bleep]y_anima -thank you i fixed it and if it isnt up there already ill be adding it when i update the most.
  6. I think the skill cape emote is more when people ask you to do it repeatedly.
  7. thank you people for the bumps... ill probably update the post again sometime soon.
  8. very true i might use ur post as a quote in mine in fact that is mostly what i do... however i dont care for standing around saying buying this so i use the forums to buy and sell normally. this lends me to being able to do other things such as smithing. (expectally if i can convince everyone to goto me :D)
  9. i use tip.it for just about everything execpt: -the members forum is better for selling things -the manual there is better in some respects -i use my own calculator to calculate profit and log cash/exp. the last one would be hard for tip.it to do so i dont blame them. else id say tip.it's basicly one stop shoping lol.
  10. nice topic idea ill throw in my 2 cents If you have a twin that u think is evil, kidnap some random person then have them throw pick them up and throw them in to a cage.
  11. Ah ok, well prices are dropping pretty quickly for addy, runes kinda low as well (not as much buyers as there used to be, dragon (E) bolts are good price but only a small minority can actully make them, mith bolts are still pretty good priced. The prices i see are about Mith bolt: 140-150 ea addy bolt: 290-320 ea Rune: 1.4-1.5 ea (dont see much of it) Dragon (E): 7.5-8k ea So I see your point as well... so i shall post elsewhere I have made an excel version of a profit calculator, however I dont have the knowledge to make one that is web based, else I would make one. And next time i will PM.
  12. Ok, sorry I'm reposting this but I think the point i was trying to get across was over looked if its removed again i wont post it again. I'll try to clarifiy. Well i should post the orginal here for background information. So here it is. now to add on... I know its in the smithing guide... but i dont think enough attention was paid to it. So far i noticed the most common things to be smithed were: arrows (iron), knives (iron) and pl8 bodies (steel/mith/addy). However not many people smith bolts... which depending on what u smith (mith for instance) will get you very close if not over the price of the bars. (where as smithing iron knives will only get you about 80% of the way there). Perhaps the smithing guide isnt where this information should be perhaps a new smithing planner is in order. Might have too look into that too (or a merchanting calculator, but anyway back on topic (tell me what u think of those idea's though). Ah, perhaps it should be put under finacial considerations. Something like "smithing bolts and then selling them could get your money back" but perhaps the prices will change and that wont work anymore... well anyway thats my suggestion.
  13. ah no problem ill see about translating it and putting it into my post... as theres a lot of info that i myself have been lacking cause i havent actully merchanted ingame lately... and now that i got a ton of cash that normally lays around... getting back into true merchanting might be good sense ive done a nice amount of smithing and my profits and starting to fall. But first i suppose i should move a lot of rune ore first lol.
  14. Recently, for members, bolts have become worth smithing, Bolts while not as fast as plates are more cost effient, they can even be rather profitible even if you buy the bars/ores, depending on exactly what kind you are making. They also seem better then arrows which require shafts and feathers where as bolts only require feathers. However I find this works best with high lvl metals (mith, addy, rune). Smithing anything lower is probably a waste of time, and probably unprofitible. I personally buy bars/ores and smith mith, addy, and rune bolts (mostly mith and rune). I think this should be included into the Smithing Guide. The guide currently mentions making arrows but not bolts.
  15. indeed bad... 2 weeks for 100k... just mine till u got cash to merchant then make like 100k+ a day.

  18. i think thats in there... and thats a fairly old scam ive seen it before long time ago.
  19. yercow - cool ty i will send it shortly rulerdavid - yes, i started that way but it proved to be more efficent to buy from merchants though at one time i did have 50+ miners working under me.
  20. tryto - yes tyvm, well tyvm for the comment. (any suggestion on how to get 10/10 lol :D. heWenger - [sorry about the delay on the reply was gonna use the reply as a bump 2 anywho...] yup u did then...
