The Catholic Church has changed its' views before; indeed the doctrine of Papal Infallibility is only a recent concept, as defined by the first Vatican Council in 1870 and caused a massive uproar at the time.

Not at all surprised by the statistic from the poll so far; most users are white, hetrosexual and christian/atheist. Although the incidence of homosexuality is higher than most average population. Perhaps it might be informative to add a gender poll as well?

I've never been too much of a rap/hip hop fan, but have recently got into a few political artists. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZICiuw32ew&feature=grec_index http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hiB-Whoxec
  4. Sad to see this is what H&A has come to. Reminds me more of RSC than any advice forum.
  5. Don't worry, that's just with the Defence/Prayer. You can Pk perfectly acceptably with something like: 40 Attack 50 Strength 60 Ranged 60 Magic ~52 Hitpoints 1 Prayer 1 Defence 42 Combat or so.
  6. Oh, god. Your levels for Pking currently are... suboptimal. I'd advise making a new account unless you're willing to put in a chunk of work making this one viable. In short, you'll need: 45 Attack 80 Strength 40 Defence 85 Range 85 Magic ~80 Hitpoints 44/45 Prayer ~63 Dungeoneering The dominant style for the last 5 years or so has been Range/2hing, which I'm sure you know the drill about. The new dungeoneering skill introduced a fantastic new KO weapon in the form of the Gravite 2h, which you should strive towards. Any other questions, just PM me.

  8. Okay, here are my thoughts in no particular order. 1. Your editing skills have certainly improved from the first video; which is only natural. It was watchable from about halfway through the third video. 2. You need to have more kills with shorter clips; pack more in. The occasional long fight is ok if it's a really interesting kill, or 'brid match up/multikill. 3. You need more varied locations - it was constantly Edgeville level 1/2 or Grand Exchange. You need to go deeper, with more locales - mage bank, wests, easts, Varrock etc. 4. You need more risk - the same ragger stuff through out each video: it justs dull and doesn't look nice - up the risk and mix around the gear, throwing in at least a treasure trail item or some such (pirate hats look neat, fx). 5. You need more 'bridding and more switches. There were at most 2 items switched; there should be at least three (crossbow/staff/maul) and preferably more (cape, leg bottoms).. 6. You need to synch up the music and the clips more, which goes hand in hand with less classic rock and more electronic/rock/hip hop - I love 'Maiden as much as anyone, but it's sometimes not appropriate. Also, lose the [cabbage]ty dubstep ala the 4th video: everyone is using it these days, it gets old fast. 7. Could polish the editing a bit, so scene transitions are softer and the like, making more use of the zoom/slow function for speeding up fights/slowing down KOs and so we can see the loot. In terms of praise it's good to see minimal trash talking, some nice KOs and not overediting. The 4th video was also a lot more detailed/clear. Of all the stuff, I felt 'Wut' was the best.
  9. Thanks, all my questions answered. <3:
  10. Ah, my bad then! Questing is always good, though. :) I'll have a look at the other three and toss you my thoughts.
  11. You're aware that pures have access to Adamant Gloves, which are cheaper than and have superior stats to the Combat Bracelet? Video guide . Not to condescend, or anything - it's just a bit undifferentiated.
  12. I'm not an experienced free player, but my assumption would be that the Necklace & Tome of Frost are the next best rewards; obviously get the Necklace first.
  13. Also, in terms of added XP/Hour, when is it best to Repot? Also, is having a slot for a special weapon worth it?
  14. As per the topic description. I have a 6 - 8m cashpile currently, and was wondering if purchasing a Berserker ring would be worth the money with lower melee stats, or if it would be better spent elsewhere. My stats are: Attack: 45 Strength: 33 Defence: 1 Prayer: 1 Ranged: 70 Summoning: 1 Magic: 75 Constitution: 60 I'm planning on making a SoL staker, so my strength will remain low (under 40) while training attack up. I'll primarily be using Rockcrabs and the like for training. In terms of equipment, I have access to Rock Climbing Boots/Regen Bracelet/Black D'Chaps and the like, along with Brine Sabre/Dragon Scimitar/Whip (at appropriate levels). I also have an unfilled Book of Balance, filling which would also cost me around 3.6M. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a Fury at this point in time. I'll be training with combat potions also, if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.
  15. We're predictable, aren't we? :P
  16. Saw combat brace, stopped watching. Quest moar. *Edit: considering the enormous amounts of PKing videos out there, you need to make it stand out someway - dungeoneering for an Arcane Stream might help.
  17. Was cleanly edited, with a good choice of music. However, it was mainly melee PKing, which can get rather dull for minutes one end; as with the constant Edgeville location. More Tri/Hybridding and a variety of locations (Castles, Mage Bank etc) would make for a more interesting video.
  18. However, when discussing the merits of various economic systems, it's done so in a global, historic context. So - yeah, your scale is so skewed as to be unreadable.

Definitely. Though I shave most of my body hair, so it's not the armpits in particular.
  20. Got my second tattoo today. <3:
  21. Hell, why don't the parents sell off one of the kid's kidneys? The little tyke only needs the one, and it's a sweet few grand.
  22. The difference is that your instance is corrective surgery. Circumcision isn't.
  23. As someone with multiple, relevant modifications, I'm well aware of issues with complications. Obviously, the question was a little flippant - however the point still stands. Edit: @ Studio - feel free to flick that to me in PM, let's not go OT again, eh?
  24. And I'll repeat my assertion that if it is your considered, well thought out and adult position that circumcision is an inherent, core aspect of your world view and faith, then the procedure should not be too much to ask for; what's a little complication compared the to kingdom of heaven? Anyway, you've heard my position on the subject and I'll leave it at that; no need to repeat my views on informed consent Ad nauseam.
  25. Ah, so you're denying that consent should be a necessary part of undergoing medical treatment? I'm not stopping people form practicing their religions, or impinging on their ability to do that - see my previous posts. All I'm calling for is a general observance that children are unable to give consent (for instance, lacking the ability to sign legally binding contracts or consenting to sexual intercourse) and that such practices should wait until the individuals involved have the information and willpower to give informed consent. The law isn't against jews or circumcision: it's about informed consent for medical practices. Isn't difficult.
