Frankly, the reason I've gotten Membership recently is to escape the Bots and obscenely depressed market for FtP items. It's something I shouldn't have to do - the only thing keeping me playing are the low graphical requirements and people I meet (also a sense of familiarity).

You're missing a few: Staff of Light Staker: 75 Attack, ~50 - 80 Strength, 80+ Hitpoints. Basically, stake against and beat DDS boxers. Low Level Range: 40 - 65 Range, 80+ Hitpoints. Range box with knives/dragon darts, relying on your extra HP to win.

As per the topic description. In the way of stats, I have: Stat/Current/Projected Attack: 60/60 Strength: 72/80 Defence: 40/40 Ranged: 75/90 Magic: 83/94 Constitution: 70/80 Prayer: 43/52 Summoning: 48/52 By way of items, I have access to the standard stuff - Fury, Rings, Dagonhai, Barrow's Gloves, Blessed Hides, Ancients and the like. I don't have access to Extremes or Overloads, unfortunately. I'm not planning on monster hunting until those stats are attained, either. My question is essentially - what bosses can I viably do outside of the Barrow Brothers? Note - please don't tell me to raise my prayer or defence levels: I'm unwilling to do so (outside of eventually acquiring 95 Prayer). Cheers. :smile:

The elasticity of various addictive substance vary tremendously - for instance, meth is more elastic than heroin. With regards to tobacco usage, there's ample evidence that tax revenue more than covers costs in terms of healthcare and lost productivity - at least in New Zealand (where we have a very high tax on tobacco products - something like 80%). There's also the issue that under a private healthcare system, healthy individuals absorb costs of moral hazard regardless and private health insurers do no necessarily increase public health, as they must subscribe under contract to a medical model of such: that is, efficient preventative measures are not taken other than the incentive of lower premiums.

This is probably better of in the PKing section of the forum. My advice would be to hold off PKing until you have better stats: namely, 90+ Strength if you plan to melee, or 95 range if you want to do that. Basically, now that you're over ~52 Prayer, it's needless combat levels until you gain access to Turmoil/Soulsplit. I'll assume you're fully quested with Vengeance, Barrows Gloves etc. Also - please don't stake, you'll get wrecked by 1 Prayer/1 Summoning accounts [unless you plan to Magebox, in which case you still need 90+ HP]. Purely maging would also be a bad idea, as you don't have the defence to tank and lack the ability to deal enough damage to KO. Ranging Rune Full Helm Black D'Hide Body Rune Platelegs Rune/Snakeskin Boots Amulet of Glory/Power Barrows Gloves Rune Xbow Ava's Accumulator Book of Balance/Unholy Book [Possibly DDP++] The idea is basically to combo Dragon Bolt Specs with Vengeance and possibly a DDS to spec them out. You can also use a handcannon, possibly with Void [ice Barrage -> Handcannon Spec].

@ Gabe That would be ridiculous. Norway was occupied by the Nazi's under Quisling, so of course there is some anti-semitism in it's history; the same could be said for the rest Europe, from the Romans to the Middle Ages to beyond.

They rip pretty hard, to be honest - but my advice would be to get 80 Strength/94 Range/94 Mage, so you can hybrid with Soulsplit, too. :thumbsup:

Like I posted, agnosticism addresses a seperate but related question. Admittedly, the exact meaning of 'atheism' is debated; if you want to be safe, using 'non-theist' is probably the best idea. The importance of these distinctions is to do with the burden of proof, a concept I'm sure you're familiar with. :wink:

I'd strongly disagree, Ring. Theism is the explicit acceptance of the proposition "There exists a deity or deities." If one does not accept the proposition, one is not a theist - that is, an atheist (if you feel the word is too laden down with added, contemporary baggage - feel free to use the term non-theist). As such, Deism is a subset of Theism - as it includes the belief in a deity (an impersonal creator god). Also, agnosticism in the sense that you define it is non theism; even if you haven't made up your mind, you still do not explicitly accept the core statement of theism. :thumbup:

I feel that most cultures and traditions - while undeniably forming bonds between diverse groups, are divisive and inferior to the emerging individualistic ethic which seems to comprise western society (at least, in NZ/Australia/UK/USA - can't speak for mainland Europe). But of course, I'm naturally bias.

Agnosticism is not a religious position: it is an epistemological position. One is either a theist or an atheist; agnosticism is addressing a different question entirely - the availability of knowledge. Thus with regards to religious belief, one can be an agnostic theist or agnostic atheist, but not simply an agnostic.

I'm on the opposite opinion - I feel that b/w and greyscale age better than colour tattoos, as they tend to include more detailed linework (which hurts like a [bleep]) and the fading is less noticeable, imo. Then again, it's all personal preference; as someone with two greyscale pieces, I'm obviously bias. ;)

That's just being inconsiderate, and in the case of drink driving, illegal. As someone who both smokes tobacco and consumes alcohol, I do neither (although I smoke inside on the odd occasion with the permission of everyone else).

Unless you've quested that Defence, which you patently have not, you'll get curbstomped in the P2P Wilderness, mainly due to lack of Barrow's Gloves. Stay Ftp, leave your attack how it is, get 80 range/60 magic and leave prayer at level 1. Destroy with Range/2h.

I don't live the US/UK and voted unsure/other. Will probably be voting No Confidence this coming election (November) as no party adequately represents my political views, which is extreme social liberalism and a centrist economic stance revolving around retained state control of infrastructure.
