Because some people dislike summoning aesthetically, or are stakers/skillers etc. Afaik, just pet it every 10% growth - no problem.

FtP Money Making?
At a relatively guaranteed 200k an hour, there's not much that competes in FtP, outside of Rune Mining/Merchanting. My question is pretty much answered, but out of interest can anyone think of other money makers...?

FtP Money Making?
Firstly, my stats are in the below signature. In terms of the viable FtP Money makers I am aware of: 1. Iron Mining at Resource Dungeon - currently lacking the Dungeoneering levels, also worried about competition with bots? 2. Cutting Yews - current WC levels don't make it viable, also - bot legions. 3. Water Runecrafting - no longer profitable at all due to drastic drop in the price of Water Runes. 4. Water Talismans @ GoP - don't have a good 50/50 team, not sure of the Gp/Hour. 5. Pie Shells - no longer profitable compared to alternatives. 6. Smelting Steel Bars - would like to acquire a Coal Bag first, also unsure how it measures up to alternatives. 7. Softening Clay - definitely willing to try, not sure as to Gp/Hour. 8. Gold Amulets - currently do not profit due to price manipulation, waiting for amulets to rise/bars to drop. 9. Superheating Mithril Bars - unsure of the current profitability/bars per hour. 10. Fishing - just... no. 11. Telegrabbing Zammy Wines - tried it today, a minimum of 2 people per world, even ones with 25s respawns: might try later in the week. 12. Chocolate Dust - Choc Bars seem to be being merched hard at the moment, unwilling to be burnt. With regards to merchanting, I only have a bank of around 3m and a cashpile of 900k (1.2m should I sell nonessential supplies). Am I missing anything obvious here? And advice on alternatives/relevant gp per hour would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Edit: typos.

<3's Lovely Blog
I've been a busy guy over these last two days, between getting this blog sorted, Runescape and essays. However, it's paid off handsomely. 50 Ranged 60 Woodcutting Admittedly, I'm finding WC a little tedious - but it will soon be over. :-)

ever been *tempted* to cheat?
I personally macro'd a little back in classic, mostly out of curiosity. I was duly punished, however. :???: Other than that, not really. I generally enjoy playing the game as it is, so see no need to cheat - much though I'd love a rare or several 99s.

TIF is bit over-moderated
Frankly, I think it's undermoderated - even looking at off topic or the rants subsection (those are perhaps bad examples :P). It's certainly not the warm and welcoming place I remember from several years back, but that's inevitable with the rose glasses of hindsight and an ever expanding userbase. As Danq said, there seem to be a few people who toe the line and make it... uncomfortable for other users.

- Drinking/Drugs
I'm all for selective legalisation based addictive/harm properties. As a regular (tobacco) smoker and alcohol user, along with the odd recreational drug, I see no real issues.- Best names you've seen on runescape?
Lagged Out Im Eponymous S U F F E R- Why can't F2P have...?
I'd like a few more FtP capes. Perhaps as a dungeoneering reward ala Spirit Cape?- What are you listening to right now!?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q8PdCkplhU- Should the Chaos, Nature, and law talismans and altars be used by Fp2 Players?
^ Said it far more elegantly than I was about to. As a free player, it /would/ be nice to have a reason to train Runecrafting past 50/56 (other than total levels). I'm all for more viable money making alternatives for free players, but as mentioned - it would soon be over run by bots (have a look at the FtP Water Altar/Yews for instance).- You know what I HATE more than anything in this game?
Like anything, a game changes. I for one dislike the power creep and utter devaluation of skilling as a viable means of income, which I think the return of free trade exacerbated. Not need to get Hunter or Fishing on your pure if you can just trade across accounts from your maxed combat Corp-er.- What to do on my pure?
Your current problem is that you're hugely range based, which will drastically effect your pking. I'd suggest you stop training range for now and do Death Plateau for 16 attack, manually training to 20, then get 70 Strength - which should get you melee based.- Real life pictures - 4
I read that as: - Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
People who feel the need to define themselves by one singular concept, and won't shut the [bleep] up about. Whether it's being a musician, an atheist or a homosexual [as examples]. I mean - yes, it's something that's important to you, wonderful. But there's more than that singular aspect of yourself and I don't want to constantly hear about it!- Creating a Staker
What Cow said. A better idea would be: 80 Attack (access to rapier, should you ever decide to whip stake) 73 Strength 90 Defence 99 Hitpoints 1 Summoning/Prayer (obviously a given) Which would also be combat level 96. ;-)- Which is worth working on?
Both look fantastic, frankly. The 40 defence account should tear up Edgeville (and elsewhere!) - it's rare to see an account with those stats sans Prayer. Reminds me some of 666Sahtan666, which is a- New skiller, what skills?
Provided you're not drop trading, an issue with FtP skillers is getting the early capital to effectively train skills: that is, buy bulk raw material etc. I'd advise that you grit your teeth and just Mine enough Iron/Cut enough Yews for around 1.2M - definitely smooths things over. If you're looking for easy crafting levels and a little cash, it's not so hard to make Gold Amulets until 60 or so Crafting, with a nice 300 - 500k profit thrown in. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM on my FtP skilling account, H 3 A R T.- Start afresh or improve?
What the above poster said. If you're able to, try for 80 Strength/80 Ranged - I'd avoid raising Attack to be honest, as Rune Items protect over Gravite 2h, and you'll mostly be pking with armour on.- What should I do?
We need to get a bit more information to be honest. Are you PtP or FtP, most importantly? What do you have in the way of a bank? Are you prepared to get prayer/dungeoneer for a significant length of time? If you're PtP or planning to be so, I'd advise you train all your non combats up to level 50 - 60, in order to start questing for Zerker pure, having ruled out being an initiate pure. If FtP, there's basically 2 options: a) train defence to level 30, get 65+ Dungeoneering/31 Prayer/45 Attack/80 Strength and be an Addy Daddy with Rune Scimitar -> Granite 2h, protecting the G2H over Adamant armour. b) train non combats, complete all FtP quests in order to get 40 Defence, getting 40 Attack/70 Strength/70 Ranged (staying 1 Prayer) and PK as a Range/2her - however you'll trouble finding fights at that level, as most pures are unwilling to fight against 40 Defence. Alternatively, you can start over - the issue is that 20 Defence offers little in the way of benefits for Free Players, and the added 5 combat levels handicap you /hard/ against 1 Defence pures of similar combat.- Freak Like Me - Worst/Weirdest Habits
Whenever I feel really tense, I need to do some sort of exercise - generally push ups. About to go out a party? Push ups. Nervous before a test? Find a secluded place to do push ups. Auditioning for a play? Sneak in some push ups. Jesus, I'm obsessional. - Drinking/Drugs
