  1. People are questioning whether they are gonna fix Pest Queen and Sigmund because they are quite literally impossible without special attack. Seems like a bit of an stupid oversight to include bosses in climber that aren't possible with the no special handicap; they need to make it so korsari and ancient mace specs can work on them inspite of handicap.
  2. The unlock requirement is 500 boss kills including all bosses from the given list. To unlock a boss for free style, you have to defeat it in climber or endurance (special does not count, I've done all those). Really? Cause wording says "500 kills from set x" (x being 1 2 or 3) then the list shows what is in that set. Unless jagex has done something mental that just reads as it should be 500 from the specific list. It says 'Kill 500 bosses AND all from set x' (x being 1, 2 or 3) So all you need to do is kill 500 bosses and what is then listed next to it as it tells you what is in the set. Wow I musta mis-read

  4. Drazhar's statement is correct, though it seems Nomad can only appear in his special challenge (and then free style); which makes sense if you think about it. He'd be near impossible in endurance in later floors; or in early floors would heavily reduce your longevity. In climber with almsot any handicap he'd be border-line impossible. Plus 46 kills, 1 journal page. @Rocked why is getting nomad stopping melee gloves? The unlocks say 500 kills from the list, while nomad is on the list he is not alone on it and nothing says you HAVE to kill all on the list.
  5. Have Jagex learned how to travel in time and go back 50 minutes to update, then? :D ± is not used as a math sign but as a approximately/circa sign. At least that is what ± means in dutch, could be that it does not belong in the english language.. No in english ± means + or -; hence being a plus and minus sign. Eg you might say I'll be there at 1pm ±10mins meaning you expect to arrive 12.50pm - 1.10pm. I don;t think it can even be a literal language thing, more just a slang use gone wrong lol. Afterall it is a circa sign, just not appropriate to this situation as it is a circa sign that specifies + or - the following. Use ~ to mean around/about. Likes its ~40mins to update now.
  6. Running to north rocks is stupid, too far away to be efficient; you are better off waiting out for a rock to go live again or hitting coal in the meantime.
  7. If you use a busy world eg 88 or 77 it doesn't make all that much difference. I've never ran out of run energy and at worst i got down to like 500lp once while on my last urn; and even tht was becuz i didn't notice i was being hit at the west rock and thus didn't move around the rock to break combat. In terms of defence it has so little it would make naff all difference; in terms of weight it could help if you realllllllly having troubles, but considering everythings weight 9kg is nothing really. If you are having troubles with health its better to take EE or EEE to spec with once in a while and/or munching some food when you bank for more urns etc and strapping on a shield. Gems are gooooooooddddd. They soon add up in value, definitely worth keeping when mining and sometimes even on slayer (if you have gem bag) But yeah LRC doesn't give gems, so no purpose ot it in the setup.
  8. You can, but there's no point. Once you own both the gold mining top and varrock plate they each take on the others effect* So varrock plate adds the % xp and gives the full set bonus; but equally gold mining top will give double ores. *only applies to mining effect. Smelting etc. doesn't carry over to gold mining top.
  9. Yeah view my content is way behind, my top thread is a post I made october 26th, and given I have an average of 3.68 posts a day on this account thats like 15 posts outdated already, minimum.
  10. It was working as I used it to photo copy just before printing. I had verified the network settings and it doesn't have a cable port that I'm aware of + no cable anyway. It didn't make error messages, simply the computers could not communicate with it to print, despite being able to detect it as being there and turned on & it showing up in the router. In the end I shut down the printer, both computers and the router and it all came back on and working fine.

  12. I have a wifi canon pixma mg 5250 printer; as of today for no apprent reason neither my mac or my windows pc can communicate with it. I've tried reinstalling on both systems and resetting the printer to no avail, any suggestions?

  14. This certainly sounds awesome as an overhaul Increasing lp across the board sounds nice. The hot bar is obviously smexy Shifting some spells into abilities Putting abilities into skills (specifically defence, but guessing range and attack would get some too) Rebalancing monsters to have noticeable weakness and strength about time, it'll mix up weapon usage nicely. Making it so attack bonuses come from weapons only makes sense, why should my shoes make my sword better? Making armours have negative bonuses for the wrong class and better defence in-line with triangle (eg mage armour tht can resist melee via forecefeilds or w/e) Giving the original mage elements abilities But best of all in my opinion: AFK = lower DPS Sounds like overall the abilities and dps stuff is gonna make combat a whole lot more interesting and organic
  15. That'd be pretty neat. It does seem however that most of those "guilds" are a little down on features, lets not hope another will follow that course. TBF at the appropriate levels they are still reasonably decent, albeit quiet guilds. Just need a bit of a spruce to match up to newer lower end updates. But definitely feels like we are over due the next stage in that guild chain; I mean legends reqs barely scratch the surface of modern quest cape needs.
  16. Guess they haven't debated on it's stat's, how it's going to be distributed (boss, quest, something else) and just how long all that will take to be incorporated into the game. They could also hold off adding it because they want to revamp the combat triangle before adding any more gear that isn't exactly needed at this time. It appears at same time as 2 new bosses in dev. Think it'd be a safe bet that QBD and/or KK gonna be invovled with it. The way it seems to have a top middle and bottom I wouldn't be surprised if we got something like: New addition to the quester guilds (champs, heros, legends) as a step up from legends that supplies 1 bit. QBD drops another bit KK drops the last bit

  18. They sure look the part. But if the Kalphite Queen is already the third (?) most difficult boss to kill efficiently, how will the Kalphite King not suck balls? Well the KK and KQ should live together - Same room? Lair? Same for KBD QBD. About time they put them in thou, Its not like its been 7 Years to slow to add them. Interested in what thier drops could be thou, More dragon specific items? I dont know whats left thou. if the concept arts are anything to go by QBD isn't underground and given Kalphite's Bee or ant-like social structuring I don't see King being given same chamber as Queen; looking at colouring I could imagine he might be a whole seperate colony a kinda of patriarchal equiv to the matriarchal queen

  22. They are all over the dwarf mine; came with graphical update months back. Just meant to suggest dwarven shops and homes etc so the civilised dwarves down there have some logical place to live etc.
  23. I don't see the issue with tying things to quests. The core of runescape, whether you like it or not, is Quests. They tell the story of the game and our character and fill in lore that explains items and people. Plus people want high end equipment that is untradable so you have to earn it; quest rewards is the logical way to do this. Boss drops would be all well and good, but it'd be one hell of an expensive boss if you can't profit from its unique drops. Plus via quests it makes sense we come across forgotten technologies and secrets and collect weapons we find along the way. Plus as for letting level 3's face nomad: That is stupid because it'd make the place a practice arena where noobs could trial quest bosses before they do them for real. Quest bosses are meant to be a challenge and seen nowhere else when you face them during the quest. Plus how would you make that fit lore? This tower is obviously gonna have some lore tied to how it uses magic to conjure your past foes, which in rs world makes sense. But to conjure future foes you (as a character not a player) have no idea about at all? That's jsut nonsensical.
  24. Lies! Zmi can make soul runes. But yeah other than that all true, can't fill slot as there is no soul altar or talisman to date.
  25. Judging by video footage it seems Nomad has been striped of his special attacks and it's just straight combat so he shouldn't be all that challenging.
