  1. I agree. The RuneScape defence system is a bit at fault too imo, since dragon platelegs offer no discernable increase in defence for a medium-to-high levelled player going about his slayer - you might as well slay in proselyte and protect pray when things get ugly. What we really need is them to bring out the eastern lands; then have shops in both the eatsern lands and in current RS that buy items from the other-side as it were. Traversing from each continent to the other shouldn't be too easy* and obv put some fail safe in to stop ge>shop trading. That way d legs etc. could all be sold for decent price in eastern lands while eastern lands drops could be sold to main land stores fairly cheaply. *As in some lore about it being too long range for teleport's so you literally HAVE to go to port phasmytaas or eastern equivilant and take a boat that should run sort of 20-30 seconds travelling cinematic each time. But make it so that like first quest where u go over there you end up sort of being an ambassador so that you bring a banker & a ge clerk with you and then post-quest banks and a ge can open. And other little things can be added in in time too, like a clan portal where u need five members to go to it again to activate it so u can get up from tht side and then clan vex on tht side go there and like in-time culd have various tasks/quests where you do manage to link up transport networks, like say 90+ mage can do an quest in an abyssal area where u manage to create a spell tht will throw u between the two continents, or with 85 mage and 85 farm you find a way to get a working fairy ring setup. Big idea I know, but I think it'd be a nice way to add more depth to the game opposed to just some shoddy patch up job. Sort of make it so there's two very different worlds with very different vibes and then you can kinda cross-contaminate so stuff learnt there can be applied bk home as it were; sort of have new elements of skills or new skills that can't be started in current world. Like they could have all new smithing techniques that open up new useful armours at 90s of smithing, or they could have a whole sort of "totem" based brand of magic where you kind of craft spells using predefined elements and powders (sort of magic meets herblore and summoning) so we could end up mixing like short range teleports, custom teleport markers all tht kinda thing. I fear I've gone of on a tangent now so i'll stop.
  2. That test I scored 65 WPM, but I don't think I do so good on tests I type. I sort of do inverted touch typing. I tend to use just two fingers and stare at the keyboard without looking up and then I type much faster, probably close to your 90 odd WPM score; thought obviously this cannot transfer to tests as you have to look at the screen in order to do the typing so it can only really test the childish typing of looking between screen and keyboard and proper touch typing. As others mentioned I think they thinking about what you want to write and not trying to read and copy also speeds you up as it becomes sort of a direct action of brain to movement opposed to vision to brain to processing it to movement.
  3. Tbh its worth getting the greegree back its always handy to have banked: Karamajan monkey Small ninja Gorilla Zombie They all have their uses, small ninja being the most generally useful, and from time to time a new monkey quest crops up that uses em in varying ways.
  4. Yes you do have to remake it. If you have a greegree and monkey speak you can buy a talisman from one of the stores on the island, then work thru the dungeon with bones. If you don't have any greegrees you gotta do the same sneaking method as you did in quest (see a quest guide), same applies if you lack monkeyspeak.
  5. I always find css more of a pain in the butt than necessary because not all the tags work with all the browsers to much more noticeable degree than html. So you end up with these big strings tht check browser and execute different lines of code dependant on what browser u got.
  6. Does it really matter? A "box" of content is a box of content whether you make it from table tags, div tags, pure css, flash, java or w/e And on a site like tip.it you need tables of data presented cleanly and simply; there's no need to go off on reams of css coding not everyone would be able to work with when the end visual result, for easy of use, will just looke like a basic table anyway.
  7. You get it on any activity OUTSIDE the citadels; they do not work inside citadels The rings make u get 1.5x xp the 0.5x extra comes off charge Eg u get 100xp normal with ring u get 150xp; ring loses 50xp charge.
  8. Turn down the graphics settings, you system probably can't handle them would be the general advice. Also info on your graphics chip would be useful to give better advice.
  9. I'd disagree with both of thoose as corrections. Lantern is under requirements, 49 fm is not a requirement for the quest. And the link provide does go to the complete list of lantern items in the fm guide so you can see your options and levels needed Lumby teles is still effective, homeport takes time to use where as lumbridge teleport is instant and thus more effective.
  10. ..and just the minor detail of pretty much the new top dog of mage combat in Storm of Armadyl+Staff of Aramdyl
  11. To be fair though, I believe Blaze has not played RS in quite a while, iirc he quit playing often a few years ago (save for an occasional update), when dragon platelegs were around 1.7m (is that right?). Imagine coming back years later to find a once rare and valuable item become absolutely worthless, which I expect is quite a shock. Not that I agree with what he says, but I'd just like to point out that he's not a troll, but probably horribly uneducated about the current metagame. Anyone who has played rs long enough even with no basic grasp of economics should expect "rare" items of yester year to be worthless junk. It's the way things work. Black armour was uber expensive once upon a time, then mithril arrived, then addy arrived, then rune arrived, then dragon arrived, then barrows arrived, then bandos arrived, then torva arrived. It's a basic fact of rs any non-consumable item that can still currently be gotten outside player trading goes down in price, especially when the next best thing is released.
  12. Siege machines required high end units, or in lower "levels" you use the cannon (hit lb on xbox, assume ps would be the same) and you'll get a big round target to place and fire; takes an age to reload but only takes like 2 hits to knock it out.
  13. Artisans guild: Ceremonial swords are by far the best smith xp going, but they cost a small fortune. The burial armours are a reasonable balance of cost and xp but aren't worth it jsut for the xp; only for getting respect, usually for buying all the rewards for completionists cape. The cannon repairs cost more than burial armours but they give amazing respect rates so are best choice if you aren't too worried about xp.
  14. Probably all banned after botting their combat stats as y'know grinding is boring but they still LOVE pking, y'know tht wonderful diverse thing where everyone uses near identical gear to 1 hit each other out or piles 30:1 then brags about how awesome they are which is clearly so much fun. So the logical solution is not, as one might guess, to play a non-grind based game its to play a grind-based game but use a bot so you don;t ACTUALLY play it., then mindless run around 1 hitting ppl and being 1 hit talking a big game about ur awesomeness til the ban hammer hits.
  15. Yes they are and as we are now approaching a month since bot nuke I think its safe to say their mass return is kinda non-existent
  16. I think you are thinking of when you go to f2p while weilding a members weapon.
  17. I'm fairly sure forum rules say we are not allowed to discuss/promote illegal activities, which pirating software is...
  18. the serial code is for your program, not the new versions. However as of the latest update adobe does offer much cheaper "upgrade" pack, no sure what editions they apply to, I think only 4 > 5 is done atm The "upgrade" packs take ur previous serial code and upgrades it.
  19. The trouble is you are basing them as being rare PURELY on the fact u have killed 1000 and not had any. This may signify a rare DROP; but not a rare ITEM. Thousands of metal dragons are killed daily and they have been in-game since January 05 (aka coming up to 7 years) this means hundreds of thousands if not millions of the item are in circulation of in-game and this number is continually growing. However the item is firmly wedged in a permanent place of marginally better than rune armour but not as good as barrows, bandos and torva which means it has a narrow and limited demand. The demand for the item is vastly outstriped by supply and therefore it is a very COMMON item and not worth much. Rare drop =/= Rare item It may do on the initial release, but in time the supply grows as very few items are ever lost (saved by graves or transfer in pking but never just lost) and thus they progress to being quite common. Give it 7 years and even Torva will be down in the regions of a couple of mil, because as more come into circulation but demand drops off (when better items arrive) and then stays stagnant the supply grows and grows and grows and if supply>demand prices drop.
  20. So if I killed 2 steel dragons and got dragon platelegs, it must be a common drop, right? I mean I only had to kill 2 to get one...that's like a 50% droprate. I've killed many thousands of many different monsters and only ever had like 3 diamonds as drops, therefore diamonds are like the rarest item in game.
  21. Go learn basic economics of supply and demand. Items are the price they are because of this.
  22. essentially its prayer armour with a bit more def, so handy for things with 2 attack styles wuld make sense to use it.
  23. Bit of a random question, but someone people from uni sport teams suggested I should take it as I'm using weight training to get in better shape via increased metabolism along side cardio etc. So I'm just curious what is creatine for and what is its benefits, I did do some googling but between sport sites advertising blurb and wiki scientific blurb I'm still not clear. Edit: Remember they also said sumat bout l-carnitine, any body got a clue about tht?
  24. What 3% bonus of hybird armour? That stuff has no stats outside mini-games. Edit: I think the title mislead me, I assumed u were talking about hybrid in relation to waterfiends so this post is kinda null.
  25. I'm not upset, I'm just pointing out you seem determined to find a flaw with android so that you can buy the apple product. Nout wrong with that, but may as well just be honest with yourself and say you want the apple one rather than trying to invent flaws of android (eg less diverse apps, despite its apps tore having more than apple; not as good apps despite all the good apps having android and apple versions etc.)
