I have ipod touch and android phone. Android took the leading market share for a reason, plus its app market has more on it than apples, so more variety on apples is bs. And as I said before all the GOOD apps appear on both apple and android, so apple has no edge there either. You just seem very anti-android and determine to find a reason for it, beyond the fact you just like apple's shiny over-priced stuff.

What "category"? You haven't defined a category. Android has good apps for just about everything, in fact MOST of the current good apple apps originated on android or have developed perfectly good android versions.

Android market does have a lot of good apps and a lot of crap ones, but this is NO different to the apple app store. It is utterly bias and bs to list this as a con of one os over the other, as it is true of both. As for ibooks, yes android don't have it, but they do have Kindle and tbf kindle is far better than ibooks; more books available and mostly cheaper in my experience. Also in no way shape or form would I consider a tablet as an ipod replacement, a music device that fits in your pocket is not the same as a fairly large item like a tablet. By all means use a tablet for music when its with you if you must, but certainly don't take it out for just music. Also the itunes debate is kinda null point: itunes on home computer, problem solved. Then you can sync it with an ipad or copy music files onto the android system for their music player to use; no dividing library or w/e necessary.

Because ALLL monsters can't be on slayer task lists and there already 7 dragons on there, 8 if you include wyverns as a dragon-type creature. They like to leave some monsters free for non-slayers.

Jad is a bigger more detailed monster, more polygons = more cpu power needed to run animations and what not. If jad is lagging you set graphics lower and try again, with lower settings it shuld cut some lag

I find any notion of rs copying WOW lol worthy. Every single update made to any MMORPG these days bears similarities to something in another game. It's just a fact there's only so many possible stories and ideas to implement and with thousands of these games out there for like 2or 3 decades its all been done before. And it doesn't devalue the content in anyway; its like with writing they say there's no new stories just new ways of telling them which is perfectly true because as one of the Greeks pointed out any story out there can be boiled down to be based upon a mixture of like 5 basic stories that have been written for centuries. Yet theres still plenty of books published each year that are worth reading.

It's also the kind of high quality low level content designed specifically to lure people into buying members; as like it or not as recent interviews with jmods mentioned F2P is essentially a demo and the ultimate goal is to get players to buy members. And despite what some people seem to think it isn't a case of low level stuff should all go f2p and high level members, jagex wants people in members asap, so they need appealing low level content. Plus kinda obvious it wouldn't be f2p given full voice acting would of made it significantly more costly to develop so they want returns on it via membership fees.

To be fair to jagex, depending on how epic this boss is its gonna take at least a fortnight-month to code and sculpt it. I'd expect it to turn up sometime between now and early december.

I fail to see this balance between number of bosses and handicaps you mentioned 48 bosses to 22 handicaps? There's no obvious ratio there, or any particularly reason for them to be in a ratio. As for future expansions, game update FAQ said any bosses would be added in batches. So seems pretty simple: 1 batch contains the same number of bosses for each class - eg 1 A 1B 1C etc. or 2 or 3 or w/e As for gloves being tied to specific bosses, so? They are already tied to specific bosses and don't include EVERY boss in there. So what does it matter if there's a bunch more bosses to bash around not on the lists? And there's always the potential for new rewards to be added, nearly every mini-game activity in-game has had its rewards expanded at some point or another.

Fair enough, though I am still curious: What has made it so taxing on server power, compared to what it was historically? Before the server downtime it was definitely faster than 24 hour reloads (maybe 1-2hours) and before the forum software swap it was near instant, so what changed?

I see your point. I used some (a lot of?) creative freedom because in order to perfectly replicate GLaDOS, the shapes would be too disjointed. So I simplified and rearranged it. Creative licence is of course good, and given the style a 100% true replication would be wrong; however there is such a thing as going too far. Which in this case you have, because it just does not look like GLaDOS, as people have pointed out without being told it was GLaDOS it wouldn't be recognisable.

No they killed them. Skimming botting forums essentially before they injected onto or reflected the code which had item groups and item ids readily available eg they could see object 555 (yew tree) and whether it was 0 (up) or 1 (down) and react accordingly. The Cluster Flutterer made them all hidden, its jsut 1 giant object array with no id codes readable at all. Any bot that worked around this wouldn't be injection or reflection it would be FAR more complex, but equally would very obviously break copyright laws AND be infinitely more detectable; hence many bot devs called it quits.

It's better to go too big than too small with an image. Images can be cropped and shrunk down very easily; enlarging a tiny image on the other hand can't really be done without ruining it.

I mean I'm sure if you were running a clothing boutique lets say that was your source of income and you started losing trade because people were falsely claiming you used child labour it'd be such a silly thing for there to be a libel law that lets you recover lost earnings and silence the liars... True in the US especially libel cases get thrown about like mad, but few actually are won because unless someone is outright lying its not libel. Err...are you agreeing with me or what is going on in these two paragraphs; they're polar opposite opinions. He says that libel is needed in case you take a financial hit due to someone false damaging your reputation. Although many people try to abuse this by suing a party that says something bad about you, few libel cases are actually won because few libel cases are actually libel. So, he seems to be acknowledging that people can try to abuse libel, but that there is a very good reason it exists in the first place. ^ This. I was being highly sarcastic in the first paragraph, with an example, to point out how libel is necessary and not just a "rich man's screw you clause"; but also noted that a lot libel cases are made but not won as they are not true libel (libel being false information/claims that damages your company in reputation and/or earnings) and are simply negative comments about the company that are either opinion based (eg I don't like McDonalds as their food is too greasy) or are genuine facts (eg News of the World was a dishonest and underhand paper as it illegally obtained stories via phone hacking) where as libel is something negative, stated as fact, but made up (eg McDonalds make their burgers from third world orphans)

I like the style, but it's not glados to me. The shapes and arrangment are too wrong to properly suggest glados.

There's been plenty of discussion update this on the update thread in gen discussion. We have pretty much concluded for definite you need to be wearing 6+ saradomin items, with cramulet/ghostspeak and ring of visiblity, plus you must have no non-sara god items on your person and are not allowed to be on curses or ancient mage. Sara Owl counts as an item. Saradomin halo does not seem to count. Illuminated holy book seems to be necessary Check page 3-4 of the thread where a lot of setups have been posted and info collated and you can see common denominator coming up of all setups are 6+ worn items (one is 5 + owl and one or two list some irrelevant items eg white gloves n boots or excess items that cannot all be worn at once) and I spent a fair while in-game helping people with it and confirm 6+ was deffo the magic number and curses and ancient mage definitely blocked it; two clan mates can also confirm this as they had to switch both off before they could get it, lunar has no effect I saw people get it fine with lunar on. And I can confirm with 8 saradomin items on it didn't work until I banked the other 5 god books. Not seen any reports where an active prayer has made any difference, only a few random claims you need piety on and some people I was helping tried piety in place of a sara item to no avail. Biggest note is: Sometime the ghost will say you are not quite ready, but will be in time. If she does you just need to try and take it a few more times and you'll get it. Oh and obtaining it gives you 50k prayer xp. No he never did that at all. He threatened to take legal action against the author of the article. Here's the quote. Yup it was the stupid ill-informed rumour that claimed they were gonna sue tip.it for criticizing. Tip.it has had plenty of critical articles, as shown in above quote they planned to sue the author as the article contained fabricated facts/lies used to show jagex in a bad light; which is of course libel. Tip.it took the article down promptly once they knew these facts were falsified.
