Correction they are expanding the degrade time not cutting the recharge cost. Besides I find these arguments utterly BORING, the vast bulk of degrading stuff (barrows, chaotics, nex and now polypore) is hardly expensive to repair. You make more than enough to cover repair costs while using it unless you are randomly doing stuff that has no good drops. Polypore is the most costy but flakes are so common they are coming down fast, sure its prob gonna be the most costy repair if you have to buy flakes; but if you get 95 slayer its hella cheap to get flakes.

This isn't about showing quest requirement chains, simple about showing the on-going story arcs and the quests that actually fill in that story; which makes it different from the tree idea and mutes your first point. The use would be given guidance about where and what the long stories are so new users can actually see what quests make up the gnome or elf or myreque quest chains as it is not immediately obvious; I mean if your new to the game your gonna have no idea what the elf series comprises of because there's no obvious links between them in the names etc. There'd be a lot of quests that don't fit into such a chain category, such as the low level ones you mention that crop up as a requirement for a lot of stuff but aren't linked in terms of a story arc. The arcs would be: elf penguin gnome monkey myreque mahjratt desert (a fairly loose one atm but they are all going somewhere) White knights sea slugs summer void knights/pests Elemental workshop Pirates Fremmenik (they are begining to come together into a loose story) And that'd cover it I think

I think it might be a nice addition to atleast have a quest chain field in quest guides for appropriate quests, but also perhaps the possiblity of searching quests by chain and maybe even a page summarising the various chains. Eg you'd have "Elf Chain" Plague City > Biohazard > Underground Pass > Regicide > Roving Elves > Mournings End part 1 > Mournings end part 2 > Within the Light Note that the chain would exclude quests not strictly related to it's story arc; eg roving elves is needed for the gnome line but its not part of the story arc of the gnomes. Or priest in peril being needed for like every myreque quest, but its not strictly linked just happens to open up that area. Just to give people a bit of guidance as to where the on-going plot arcs/story groups are Just a random thought. Personally I'd guess having a quest chain page would be less work since then on quest guides the chain field can just link to the appropriate anchor, since it'd be tricky to automate the chain being filled in like "progression" segment does, which saves having to edit several quest guides every time the chain expands.

Yeah newer drivers do, in general, improve CURRENT issues and expand features BUT they can make some issues worse and create new ones.

Don't blame Jagex, its not their fault java got [bleep] on macs atm. Please state your facts that it is apple's fault and not jagex fault, because I can't see why runescape crashes are because of the java version instead of the program. Because how java is implemented in mac has changed quite dramatically recently and ever since this change it has been a bit unstable; other java applications also have crashing issues etc.

Yeah the wording does very clearly say abilities to CRAFT SLAYER ITEMS & quicker killing blows Crafting abilities are slayer helm, broad bolts & slayer rings. In addition to these you need quicker killing blows. The other 2 are not included as they are intentionally optional and unlocking them can be detrimental to your game play (wasting 2k points and having to do aquanites respectively)

You need to do What Lies Below up until the point you unlock the tunnels east of varrock below the statue. I do not think you need to complete the quest, but given the quests short length and how late in the quest you access to the tunnels completing it is like 0 extra effort.

The 3 new armour sets: The 3 different levels of beast drop different flakes. Flakes are sown onto the robes merchant sells to make the 3 new armours. The armours do not drop as a complete item. The spores are used on the polypore stick to make the staff. The stick is ONLY dropped by the 280s. The staff doesn't drop as a complete item.

Yeah its hidden bonus as its a special boost for un-armed combat, which in melee's case natural boosts crush along side the str as unarmed combat is all crush based. They work well on fiends.

I sincerely doubt he can accurately get his IP solely from chatting runescape. Get on another PC, change your password and format your laptop. You might have a RAT. It wouldn't be easy but it is entirely possible. It's the sheer nature of being on the internet that your ip is right there to be "taken" And of course while you THINK you only had contact via RS they could of targetted you via a forum or something where they can get your ip much easier then simply tracked you down in RS.

You're on the internet; therefore he can get your ip. Skype etc. may offer simple methods, but as long as you are on-line it is possible to get your ip

Two years ago there wasn't even a convention. I would hardly say that the location is set in stone. Yes, overall players are probably going to say London, but it's not as outrageous as some people are making it out to be to envision at least one year in the states. I think it would be quite outrageous as a waste if budget. Jagex wasting a large chunk of cash on flying like half the runescape team over to the USA + hotel costs is kinda outrageous in my book; I mean UK london they can commute cambridge > london and all their runefest props are this side of the pond so again massive chunk of cash on shipping or on buying all new props. Plus all precedent of gaming conventions is the country the game comes from is where the official convention happens; so it would be borderline outrageous (or atleast unusual) in that respect.

Not sure why ur getting stuck, what I do know is: The "tower" songs (not lobby) 1-3 seem to play on the early floors (where its like red yel n blue) 1-4 on the mid floors (where its red and yel with no blue) and 1-5 on the top floors (where its grey)

In a word: No. The boost acts pretty much the same as normal potions (I think it might be marginally longer) so you'd dip back down pretty much as soon as u laid your traps (assuming u tele to HH via juju bag or mask). It only really works if as a boost for some quick hunting (eg only need 1 catch) or for a quest start. Better choice would be hunter potion, boosts 3 levels.
