  1. Repost as it think it got overlooked when Jaffy's replies made the page change. In the quest xp guide under the Agility table "* Myths of the White Lands: see "Tips, Tricks and Notes" section of the quest guide to learn how to receive the 10,000 exp. You do not get this as a reward for completing the quest, and not all of it is available in free worlds." Firstly its awkward wording would make more sense to say: You do not get this as a reward for completing the quest, see "Tips, Tricks and Noes" section of the quest guide to learn how to receive X xp. This also applies to notes below: attack, crafting, farming, fm, magic, prayer, thieiving, woodcutting. Secondly "not all of it is available in free worlds" kinda misleading on the agility one. It is simple is not available to f2p as its a members skill. So should just say "only available to members" Similar situation under magic for swept away; it should be un-highlighted and marked as p2p in the main list as none of the xp is available to free players as the enchanters are in pollnivneach, canafis, lunar and underground pass. Crew edit: Thanks, the edits have been made and you have been credited!~Salleh :)
  2. The rod mould crumbles away after use if memory serves so you have to re-make it each time. Swamp snakes is obviously one of the few odds and ends that got overlooked, tbf you gotta give kudos for jagex there are very few overlooked items with these updates!
  3. This is one thing I don't understand. Things like knives, hatchets, etc all have a wide use in day-to-day activities. The pestle and mortar have only very specialized uses. Why, then, is it in the toolbelt? o_O Eh, it's a tool. And it's used for several herb secondaries. Also, a bolt mold isn't specialized? It makes a single item, lol. Yeah pestle and mortar has loads of uses compared to all the moulds, which are only used in crafting. Herblore seconds in general is obvious Bird nest grinding for selling during wc and/or mtk collection. Suqah teeth for farming Making neem drupes into neem oil Amardyl shards etc.
  4. We already have dragon arrows and have done several years. The most obvious solution to fix this suggestion would be scrap your woods entirely and just insert the crossbow woods. Normal, bronze oak, blurite willow, iron Teak, steel Maple, mithril Mahogany, Adamantite Yew, Rune And not in-game but hinted at coming some day by some npcs in range guild: magic, dragon.
  5. Been like that since edgeville graphical update and was kinda part of it.
  6. The implciation I got from bts is this is a new arena in the same (thou seemingly graphically reworked) place so ull still be stuck with the old snorefest.
  7. Totally unnecessary and would add nothing in terms of gameplay.
  8. There wouldn't be unless they expand it to include items like the sextant or better pick/axes. I'm guessing the point of defaulting to bronze is just so that you wouldn't have to worry about bringing that tool when you're not skilling. Something like Brimhaven dungeon, where you need an axe to get in. Now you have one and it won't clog up your inventory. As they said in FAQ bronze was about cost as belt items are perma safe; it'd be a bit ott to let you perma save top end wc and mine gear tht costs a few mil. Tbh though would be nice if we culd do up to steel or mith.
  9. I don't see the logic at all in wasting bankspace for coins now. The pouch is 100% safe, no lose on death and bank pin protected.
  10. Well bigger groups make xp better in general. Eg 5man floor is more xp than a duo. But beyond that you don't impact each others xp really your prestige is what largely decides your xp plus your deaths obviously impact. It can impact logistically slightly, eg equipment difference and level differences may mean the lower level slows things down a bit in their need for more food to survive; but unless your are really really dire it shouldn't do much.
  11. There are some exceptions to that depending on SSH hood and levels though; eg in many puzzle rooms a high level monster should be downed to avoid mass damage and food waste while solving and killing off the odd mage in some rooms to keep ssh working can be useful when you do need to gather fish or armour (because as much as you say not too some of us do need to, especially if you lack an armour bind and/or soulsplit) Or atleast the floors I've done duo/group have been done that way with clan mates and we got some serious dgers who actually do the really good fast times.
  12. secateurs can't have to be weilded for farm effect and for killing tangleroot thinigies Clearly you would just have the effect permanently on if it was on your toolbelt. Can you even go back into the tanglefoot area after the quest? If you can't, then simply having the slot only unlocking once you've completed the quest would solve that problem. You can, no idea why you'd want too though. I think they might be a slayer task or sumat but like low level so you never actually get em unless u do quests quite low level.
  13. Only game with "dust" in the name I can find/know of is From Dust which is already on xbox, ps3 and pc and that ain't a fps.
  14. Oh I totally get gun law changes would certainly not get US anywhere near countries like UK in terms of guns in circulation and guncrime; at least it'd take several generations for the effects to bleed into effect and thats if it worked at all. But it is a sad fact about American psyche that most would argue gun laws are good as it gives them the means to protect their family, yet cannot see that one of the biggest threats is gun crime which would/could be heavily minimised if people did not have the guns for their protection in the first place. I remember reading somewhere that like 70% of murders in the home in the US are performed with the victims own gun which really shows how "safe" they make you.
  15. Laws don't stop things from happening. Drugs are illegal, but you can usually easily find anything up to coke on most urban middle schools. You can ban guns, but that won't stop people from using them. Also we have no idea who the shooter was at the moment. Don't assume it was some maniac shooting up people. The article states the cop was shot at a traffic stop, I would suspect they had something in their car they didn't want the cops to know about. It sounds like a coincidence it was at V tech. And I wouldn't say something like this wouldn't happens somewhere else... http://newsfeed.time.com/2010/06/02/body-found-as-12-dead-in-u-k-shooting-massacre/ Frankly I find that "shootings at Virginia Tech" part of the title to be a little misleading at the moment, considering we don't really know the shooter or their motivation. Shooting and V Tech imply another massacre like before. When, as far as we know right now, it's not the same type of situation. In my eyes: Anyone shooting people in cold blood = maniac Plus I never said it did not happen at all elsewhere just that it happens much more frequently in the US, primarily because of their gun laws. Granted they do lower some other crime rates, like burglary but they send gun crime rates through the roof which imo is far far worse thing to have higher rate of as it means things like this happen more frequently. I am just saying there is a difference between a drug dealer shooting a cop because he doesn't want to be caught (of course that's just a guess on the motivation of the suspect on my part), and a mentally troubled youth shotting up over 50 people at a school. Also, read my edit, I think Chicago is a good example of gun laws having nothing to do with crime/murder rates. For example, "The City of Chicago has some of the most restrictive gun control laws in the nation. Up until a few months ago, it was illegal for a private citizen to own or possess a handgun anywhere within the city, including in one's own home." http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/?p=7101 Chicago's murder rate tops L.A. and New York http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/24/chicago-murder-rate-tops_n_137488.html Good crime rates are in % or fractions or ratios so populations don't impact. eg a 1:500 murder rate in the US and UK is still the same, but would be more actual murders in the US. And there is a clear correlation between gun crime and gun control laws when comparing on an international level. I don't think Chicago having tighter laws can be taken as a good example because its not like there's a national border where they'd pick up via x-ray etc you have a gun so "smuggling" in from other US areas would be easy as heck; and things vary from city to city everywhere it does depend on the culture of that place. No doubt tighter gun laws for Chicago stemmed from the murder/gun crime rate in the first place as an attempt to stem it.

  17. Tbh America really needs to overhaul its gun laws! You like never get this kinda shit in the UK, the odd knifing perhaps but much rarer and rarely deadly; yet at least twice a year in the US there's some maniac shooting ppl dead at a school.
  18. And you can get in with a full tool belt. Seems like this invalidated a big part of Lost City  Unless it's disabled during the quest or you can't use the tool belt on the island? I don't see it as being all that quest breaking. Old days original Lost City was always done by taking a broken hatchet to put back together (which fyi crew guide still mentions even thou they no longer break), it was "broken" when you suddenly had to kick some lvl 25 zombies to get one, which given the tree spirit's level are like nothing. This jsut sort of rectifies it that hatchet can be easily taken, weapon/armour is the only issue now, as it was in the old days.

In my final year of BA degree in english literature with creative writing. Want to be an author, in the mean time I'll probably look at something in publishing/editting/advertsing kinda industries that put my talents to use.
  20. secateurs can't have to be weilded for farm effect and for killing tangleroot thinigies
  21. facemask and earmuff facemask should mention protection from smokey areas opposed to just dustdevils. Current descriptors imply unless you are fighting devils they are unneeded which obv is not true u need em for all smokey well/smoking kills dungeon exploits.
  22. It has 28 charges, so yeah epically impractical; thou on searching it it does have the boon of cutting faster (no charges used) in tht sawmill game. But meh that's not exactly practical training and hardly a chore to take ur saw since u need to take a good hatchet anyway.
  23. In terms of quests adding to the tool belt: A good one to slip in would be fairy tale part III unlocks magic water can slot. Normal can couldnt go on for obvious reasons (it gets used up), but no reason magic couldn't since its perma full and all you need do is add a "water" left click option to allotments that are planted and to seeded plant pots etc. Also a nice tweak in terms of digging issues: Make dirt mounds ontop of barrows with dig options Make that key from meeting history*, clue scrolls* and quests create a temporary area with dig option. Eg like a 10x10 area around where co-ord clue lands you'd get a right-click dig option show up on the ground *Both these culd work with dig option dirt mounds too that spawn when you check key/co-ords on the right square
  24. That's not really obsolete. Obsolete means something rendered useless by NEWER things. Eg VHS is obsolete due to DVD Toolbelt lacking slots for these is just a lack of function. Magic can would be nice if we got a slot for it unlocked via fairy tale part 3 since normal can can't go on for obvious reasons. Also crystal saw don't need to go on, for one thing it degrades and acts as chimes making it impossible to vanish into the belt; plus the +3 level boost it provides to construction isn't ALWAYS needed. Most people would be using it as a 1 off to build something a few levels above or on a quest task they r just short of; so aside from specialised uses normal saw does the job fine.
