Scabarite Research
All of them can drop them, its just luck really; but most people I know did fair better overall on mummies for drop rates. 1 hour trip is nowhere near a big enough sample size to deduce anything from.

Prosititution
This relies on the assumption prostitutes have no choice in what they do or do not do and who they do or do not take as clients to be an issue. In places where its legal or people doing it illegally by choice don't HAVE to do anyone or anything they do not want too; they can be as exclusive or as far ranging as they wish. And of course people doing it through choice are likely to be a bit more sexually adventurous than your average joe and enjoy trying out these "weird" things.

Dragon Eggs
That's not true. ROW affects unique drops too. No idea if dragon eggs are included, though. Not seen any proof for that and Jagex has never said it does. In fact jagex categorically stated that it does NOT effect unique drops (I think it even said this in the news psot of the last row update) It does affect the unique drops of some monsters, such as Abyssal Demons, Mutated Jadinko Males and Guards, and Ice Strykewyrms, to name a few, which is why the RoW shines on every single kill made on these monsters. Whether or not the RoW affects Dragon eggs is a different issue, though, since Dragon eggs appear as a supplemental drop in the manner of Clue Scrolls or Draconic Visages, and hence it is highly unlikely that the RoW affects Dragon egg drops. Oh yeah they made it effect some, totally forgot that. But still the supplement drop vs unique drop thing plus fact row don't shine every kill on dragons kinda suggests it has no effect on eggs.

Flash Powder Factory
Well spotted, but it certainly would not increase your Brianpoints per hour to waste time waiting for that small booster. Once you get good you should only be taking about 7 minutes at the most to get 500 points and quit out. And on that subject I would suggest tip tricks and notes should mention: In order to maximise Brianpoints earned per hour it is best to ignore apparatus. The time wasted in pickpocketing to get/maintain apparatus ends up slowing you down overall.

2) No it does not. ROW only ever effects the are drop tables that is shared by many different monsters. Dragon eggs are not on this table. As for rarity it seems entirely luck based, most people seem to report getting them fairly fast (<30 kills) or taking forever (1k+ kills)

Smithing Advice Needed
Fast methods and profitable methods are at the opposite ends of the spectrum for smithing training. Can't have both, its either slow and profitable or fast and costing a small fortune.

The fails hardly make a huuuuuuuuggggge dent in xp:hr, especially given how infrequently you fail on them courses unless your luck sucks big time. A short attention lapse, talking in a cc/fc etc. or a spot of lag are all gonna put more of a dent into xp:hr than fails in my experience for the advance courses; and even then it's hardly worth taking into account as its minimal in the grand scheme of things.

Dungeoneering Rewards
Tome of frost is great if you use ancient mage for anything. It allows you to have the offensive boosts of sol or chaotic staff but retain unlimited waters.Mainly applys to mini-games and pking these days, but still has a use if you do use ancients. Herbicide is good for any herb dropper, abby spectres are the most obvious but there are others. Bonecrusher is good for slayer, basically take it to anything that drops bones (unless you wanna bank the bones for dragons etc) and you'll get a nice little pile of pray xp; same way you take urns to ash droppers. It gives nice bit of xp to an expensive skill and makes drop piles so much tidier so that you can quickly spot the good stuff to grab (same applies to herbicide)

Best Agil Exp?
Flash powder is about equal to advance barb. Also no-fail levels are meaningless on advance gnome and barb; the xp isn't dented by failing on those courses. Gnome you cross anyway and get the xp. Barb you just go bk to start of the cartwheel pole thing and redo it til u pass and thus get xp.

20-December-2011 Christmas Event
Edgeville ruins do make sense. There was a Zarosian fortress there that got destroyed, plus it ties in with all the ruins added to wilderness wall showing old boundaries. Layout changing I think is a very bad idea, they do do it slightly (eg draynor houses got split up more), but the idea is a graphically overhaul not a re-build of the map. The places retain their identity from keeping their general layout; besides its not like they don;t change at all layout wise overtime. Buildings getting slightly nudged about all the time for new content; the most obvious big one recently was a bunch of houses in east falador being removed/shuffled to fit in the artisan's workshop.

20-December-2011 Christmas Event
I do love how rs constantly updates everything graphically, it's just sometimes I wish they'd be more consistent with it. They seem to start a project of make-overs, get sidelined then start a new project of makeovers. Eg over summer we got new trees being added with most updates....then nothing for months. Updating areas we often get like lumby then varrock then draynor then fally and occassionally edge...then they stop for a while and normally most other places don;t get a look in but a few months later lumby gets done again. I mean granted a lot of eastern areas are behind the curve on current standard, but please can't they wait (since they r pretty decent) and let places like Ardougne and Yanille FINALLY get a make-over that is overdue.

Lending Glitch?
The main thing that occurs to me with this: If he had a Santa and you had a Santa why, oh why on earth was he trust trading you his and you lending him yours? That sounds like the most moronically pointless thing ever; what is it even meant to achieve borrowing the same item off each other at the same time? But yeah as other people covered ain't gonna get rolled back and the video would be helpful to see wtf happened, though tbh the sheer fact you have it on video sounds odd to me. Why would you be videoing everyday goings on in the first place? But yeah the video would be helpful.

Meercat Pouch
But they are worth keeping for clues as they can dig up scroll boxs, which bypasses the wizard fight on co-ordinate clues. This is handy for guthix and zammy wizards especially (since guthix are a pita and means u dont have to risk stuff in wildy for zammy)

A Numeric Glance at Clan Citadel
The numbers will be off. If you look at the info and charts a few mistakes have been included: 1) Charcoal does not need timber 2) You cannot upgrade battlefield AND store house in the same week 3) You cannot upgrade more than 2 skill plots a week. Plus this relies on the assumption that you get enough people up to the citadel and working each week to actually meet costs in a single week for each thing; even the biggest clans (that care about citadel) are hard pushed to do a complete tier upgrade in a single week for the later tiers. I believe max clan (when the rs fb was doing notes about their progress) took 2 weeks to pay for T5, which was the start of October. I mean, for example, tier 4 upgrade is about 17k timber, 15k stone, 15k bars, bars cost 3 resources so that's 77k resources; plus upkeep which is around 10k total assuming all t3 maxed. So 87k total to get t4 in 1 weeks work, T3 store gives 1400 cap so you'd need 63 members to do it in a single week if they all capped out. Taking a more realistic estimate of the avergae clan member doing maybe 500 or so you'd be looking at 174 members needing to do work. Long story short: I'm fairly certain no-one has got to t7 yet, if they had there'd probably be lots of pictures floating around somewhere for it. Plus given jagex's ongoing hope I feel we'd get some sort of news about the first wave of clans reaching t7.

Prosititution
This is virtuallly never the case. If a prostitute isn't forced into it by armed gangs, she's forced into it socio-economically. It's a service that people want but only those who are forced to give, by in large. This is a totally made up fact. There's no statistical proof of this, just baseless assumptions that no-one would chose to do it. I mean plenty of people chose to be escorts and that's prostitute adjacent, and let's face it many escort agencies are kinda just a front for a brothel of sorts. (Secret Diary of a Call Girl anyone?) I even watched a Louis Thoreaux documentary in Vegas/Nevada (I think) where they had legal brothels and the girls were there by choice. I mean sure it does happen, there's no doubt about that. But its an utterly made up fact with no provable evidence to say the majority of prostitutes are forced into it in some way other than baseless assumption of the the cliche prostitute figure is the 'norm' of prostitutes (the cliche being the kidnapped, forced to do it to fund drugs or save their family and hate it kinda gal). Plus the sheer volume of people who willing decide to be porn stars categorically shows that by and large there is a huge market of people perfectly willing to have sex for money, not to mention taking into account the idea of the gold digger and sugar daddy type relationships which essentially amount to prostituting yourself for the money.

Why is there an update every single day?
Lol no. Rwt and bots go hand in hand. Bots are used to farm resources to make gp. Gp is sold for $$$$ Bots are used to train accounts to nice stats. Well statted accounts are sold for $$$$ And its not like they are all that annoying, there's no server downtime, or count down timer for it.

[ARCHIVE] Spelling and grammar corrections - completed posts
Capes guide completionist cape "All magic spells unlocked. This includes spells from the Mage Arena, Mage Training Arena, Livid Farm, and the Tune Bane Ore spell." Is it not rather redundant to list Tune Bane Ore spell, since "All quests" is a requirement and tune bane ore is unlocked during a quest? (As is Storm of Armadyl, Ancients, Lunars, Ardougne Teleport, Watchtower teleport, Trollheim teleport etc etc.) Plus All Dominion Tower Achievements is missing from the list, as is all temple trekkers maxed. (Both of which I had confirmed via my clan mate Grizzly who has trimmed comp cape and had to do them to get it back) [Crew edit: Fixed and you have been credited, didn't change status of Tune Bane Ore as it may not be a requirement of the quest to use the scroll. Thanks! :) ~Oct]

Bank Space
I think those numbers are quite confusing and that many new members would also be confused about that the 78 en 468 should be added together to get their 546 total bank spaces ;) The whole reason they split them is so p2p going f2p can use their banks. If the old system is restored it'd mean unless u ditch all but 78 items you cannot bank; this system means as long as u have some f2p space you are fine while members objects stay safely locked away.

Runescape hiscore tracker
Not quite. Someone else might slow down on their experience gains. In which case, Magebank becomes no longer in last place on the now P2P-only highscores list. The best approach would be to start from the highscores front page, just simply jump to whatever the last page is, and then check for the last rank number listed, not the name at that rank. As I type this, 32052 pages, and a final rank number of 705138 are listed on the highscores. Any name could be in that last slot, and at any given time. But, it won't always be the same person, that's pretty much for certain. :geek: ~D. V. "Here's the missing puzzle piece, explained in a little detail..." Devnull You're missing the fact that Magebank and P H A T are both users with 9hp accounts that wont be levelling any skills to keep a "pure account". So yes while it may be inaccurate to plus or minus a few players, it's pretty much a guarantee that they will stay at the lowest rank considering the only way they will be bumped up is if another 9hp account gets members again without levels in any skill. I know for a fact that P H A T was at the bottom of the highscores since it went P2P and only recently got bumped because Magebank subscribed. So yes, while not perfect, it would be a very close representation by just tracking one or both of their ranks. (So yeah I support some sort of way of tracking this as it would be interesting information to look at) Yes you could track them on the assumption they might remain the last place, but its still far more logical to just track the last entry on the last page which is 100% definitely the final place. And overall I still stand by whats the point? It's gonna creep back up to the full 1million entries limiter and then will remain there as a backlog of people just too low to get on will build up and be instantly filling any slots for quitters.

You need to talk to him once, end the conversation, and talk to him again before he'll offer to take you back through. If you're going on foot through the maze in darkness of hallowvale, you're doing it wrong. The very start of the quest you get the drakan medallion with burgh de rott tele on it; then the npc will tele you to the base where an npc will add the base teleport on to it. Ergo the whole point of the item is to bypass the maze entirely.
