  1. there are actually 3 safespots one demonstrated there, one to the east on the east side of the ladder and one in that little crevice where the other white dot is on the minimap. there are also 2 dragon spawns... however you should bring runes to cast wind strike as a precaution (mage attacks cast faster then an arrow/bolt starts up) so you can guarantee that you'll get a dragon. I think I'm going crazy... or I'm having a premonition! I dreamed I found a visage... geeze
  2. I took a break from PC... because its horrifyingly boring... but I'll get back to it tomorrow. So for I only have ~85 points... so I still need just under 800 more... only 10 days at this rate... (probably halved, since I only played pest control for 1 1/2 hours) Departing from the void knight island, I found myself in the Taverly dungeons where I killed a bunch of black dragons... Now I'm really close to 75 range and I learned quite a bit about bolts and such. I was using mith bolts... but learned that broad-tipped bolts hit higher and yet are ~30 gp cheaper... So now I'm using those and things are going well... A word to the beginners... bone bolts don't work on black dragons lol... mith is a minimum I even tried potting with the bone bolts and it took 4 times the time to kill just one dragon then with plain mith bolts and no pot... No visage yet, heh, but hopefully during my quest to 99 range, I'll get a visage! I'm out for tonight though!
  3. lol, void is going to be the hardest part for me :P I really hate pest control with a vengeance...
  4. I agree, RWT is still alive and well... its just that now regular users have to suffer even more, for nothing?
  5. ? what construction level is needed to do what you need to do?
  6. I've got a question forever can answer to get the range bonus with full void, do I need to wear the little yin yang amulet?
  7. Hey! Welcome to my Goal thread.... hopefully these will actually be finished sometime in the near future... My home world is 88 although I do tend to take breaks to play some Castle Wars on world 82 as well... After getting full void from pest control, I'll probably spend most of my time ranging although I will switch between the two intermittently because I'll obviously get bored of killing Yaks over and over again... [hide=Full Void]This goal will be the first one that I try to accomplish because quite frankly... its the easiest and won't take nearly as much time as the others... Sadly... I personally hate how full void looks... especially since the ranger helmet looks like a football helmet... But it does give a 10% bonus to range, and I need all the help I can get...[/hide] [hide=99 Range] I'm currently quite far from the goal... but we'll see what will happen... I'll probably end up making some videos of the various places that I train, but until then, heres a list: -Yaks (Frennerik Isles) -Green Dragons (Edgeville L.13 Wildy) -Black Dragons (Taverly Dungeon) -Ogres (Training Camp) I'll hopefully be clad in full ranger's void knight armor once I actually begin power leveling... but for now, I'm wearing full green blessed d'hide since that offers the next best range attack bonus.[/hide] [hide=99 Fletching] I had begun this goal a while, but decided to take a leave of absence from Runescape after the horrific string of updates... but I'm back... and Runescape is still as great as ever. I'll be cutting yew long bows, and stringing them and then selling them. Depending on prices of the various supplies, I will always be buying yew logs, but may purchase flax and string the bow strings my self to save on costs. I cannot afford to take a loss... I have to at least break even on supplies otherwise, I won't have money for 99. I plan on spending most of my time fletching at the Grand Exchange on World 88... although I will also be at the Seer's bank and maybe the Falador East bank...[/hide] At the end of all my troubles... I plan on having a party at the Falador Party Room and in my own home... We'll see when the time comes...
  8. the coding would be incredibly simple, you'd just have to literally type in GP instead of coins (maybe Gold Piece since GP is the abbreviation) but anyways...
  9. well for f2p, there probably isn't a need to buy multiple armors unless you want to have multiple outfits (ie. regular full rune and full (g) rune)
  10. wow I love your main's (right?) name and 99 range lol, crazy!
  11. are you f2p? because your not including any member armor... but anyways the reason for having two sets of melee/range/mage armor is because certain armors are better for certain situations... in some cases, against monsters with low max or average hits, you want the highest bonus you can get... so you'd wear armor that has high attack bonuses but lower defense bonuses, thus you can have multiple sets in your back of different types of armor within a class not to mention... some armor like barrows has special effects which can help... guthans for healing etc. and wth does an order for buying armor mean? you buy the best you can get at your level... if you have level 40 defense... buy rune!, if you have level 30 defense... buy addy! edit: also about the thing where you said that you should skip some armor because you wont be using it for long... it'll help you level up that much faster (protect you, prevent you from having to eat etc.) and thus its worth it... not to mention with the G.E. update its easy to just sell it off, for within 1k of what you bought it for anyways... since this isn't WoW, there is no linked gear (armor that can only be used by one player after being worn) or any damage to armor... (except with barrows/crystal) so it doesn't really matter
  12. maybe he should do yaks first, getting a high range then do aviansies : that sounds like a plan :P btw, not to thread jack, but what slayer level is need for avansies? it is a slayer monster right?
  13. alright then, I guess void it is should I go on the beginner boat or the intermediate boat? I'm only level 72
  14. so it is actually better then blessed d'hide?
  15. eh, screw pc then... power level on yaks? then I can use some nice arrows/knives
  16. hmm... so I guess its worth it to just use bronze arrows and knives all the time? unless I'm doing PC that is
  17. Meh, I thought full void gave less range bonus then full blessed d'hide? Personally I don't think its that cool either... oh and... does the accumulator not work if the enemies are caged in?
  18. when you get the to the sets area, you can right click your box (set) and click exchange
  19. What should I be wearing to train to 99? I'm really poor... atm, with just under a million worth of items and gold. I've currently got full green blessed d'hide, with an accumulator on my back and a glory ammy... I'm also wearing snakeskin boots. What should I wear for maximum range attack bonus (I don't care about defense)? It needs to be relatively cheap... no Robin set or fury etc. Oh and what weapon? I think black knives would be lots of fun... but that might be expensive? I wont be picking up what isnt picked up by the accumulator... Steel, iron or bronze? Or should I go with bronze-steel arrows with a magic composite? ?? Thanks!
  20. Yup..Jagex are probaly looking over it then will add evidence in a day or 2. thats not what mawd meant... anyways, mods don't have to submit evidence and legally neither does jagex... just don't appeal it, if anything, they might extend your mute period since its only 2 days
  21. huh? what are you talking about... when you get to yews, you even make a profit off making them... bowstring = ~200 yew log = ~300 yew long = ~600 thus you make a 100 gp profit... you won't lose money as stated, willows are incredibly cheap and will get you up to 75 to start fletching yews
  22. is it necessary to ask since your in f2p? unless your seeing what you could get on members (you asked for f2p armor, so I guess not) theres really no point since its obvious what the best armor is in f2p lol
  23. why? its been proven that low level monsters are the best to train on... (20-40 hp) unless your looking for good drops, stay at those low level monsters
