  1. I've never met someone else who knew about Balloon Shop. It's probably the funniest stuff I've ever watched on YouTube.
  2. I read that in the voice of the guy who yells "You boys quit that whippin!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKmCMqIG2vo
  3. I like using the   emoticons way too much. :P I overuse them, I think.

    Today...

Downloaded this album off the internet, and the bastard who uploaded it for download slowed it down so that the voices were all deep. But I had only listened to one song off the album at that point, so I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that (because it didn't sound really bad). Went on YouTube and looked up a random song on the album, and figured out it had been slowed down. He got me good, but I found a good version.

  6. There Could Be Nothing After This - Underoath
  7. The person who got first place in that game was named Forsaken Mange. Hmmm... Looks fun!

    Today...

Didn't wake up at 6. Eh, [bleep] it. When it's summer, I really want to sleep in. I have all school year to get in shape and, who the hell am I trying to please anyway? I'll probably go cruising today. Me and a friend found this old roller skate hockey rink that has the perfect cement in it. I can't even hear my wheels rolling on it. It's small, but there's just enough room to dance and do some tricks. It's the best spot I've found in town.
  9. I'm not saying this because my previous post's idea was rejected by the later posts, but I really only meant that seeing the guy pumped me up. I actually posted and then was like, 'Wait, there are words that I should probably read.' I ended up just saying screw it. The text is a bit obnoxious. And I'm not really a huge fan of that type of body building encouragement. I think I've said this in other posts where I'll see a fit guy and it'll motivate me, and I think that's what that picture did.
  10. ^ That's probably the only instance in which I ever actually lie nowadays. I'll be browsing and completely forget I'm talking to someone (I have the sound disabled). So then I'll just make something up like "Was getting my laundry, sorry."

  12. For all I know, and from what you seem to be saying, I can confidently say, then, that religion and state have never been separate; this is if you deem a state leader being affiliated with a religion as the connection between religion and state (which is really looks like you're doing). In that case, religion has never been 'private'.
  13. Some dude left our door open one time and my parakeet flew out and ended up dying (probably freezing to death in a tree). I was pretty angry. @Rob: My roommate plays the drums. He's made a kinda fence like thing with his broken drumsticks. It's pretty cool. You should do that.
  14. I respect that. I'm just saying, that's tough to ask. A person's belief system (like I kinda already hinted at), no matter what religion it's rooted in, will undoubtedly affect their decisions. Of course, it's hard for us to point out which decisions were affect or not. We can only assume that he/she as a whole has been affected, and therefore his/her actions have been as well. So, I'll say that it isn't only him that we're talking about now. It's every leader who believes in some greater being/human/woman/object (i.e. all theists). Anyway: I get annoyed when people leave cereal or chip bags open. I hate eating stale food.
  15. My response to the latter statement will be determined by your meaning of religion. I sure hope you aren't saying that leaders who are not atheists are unfit for their position. :P Any belief system will ultimately affect people's decisions.
  16. It looks like something that would be useful, but I dunno if I'd be able to bring it up to college, let alone fit it in my dorm. I don't have a membership, so my weight training is basically push ups and ab workouts. Is that enough muscle training to increase metabolism and increase endurance/stamina?
  17. You don't understand me, then. I'll try not to take your 'man in the sky' phrase as a goading remark. God or no God, prayer does not prevent people from doing their best in trying to fix these problems. People can pray and fulfill their duty just as people can hope and fulfill their duty. Of course, anyone who sits back and expects things to get done by themselves is an idiot. But I don't see prayer as doing just that.
  18. And time as short as an hour of prayer will impact such major issues? I highly doubt.
  19. Praying for God to guide a political leader to make the right choices isn't the same as telling God to run the country. For you atheists, it's almost the exact same thing as 'hoping Obama will make good choices for our country.' I don't hear you criticizing people for hoping for the greater good. EDIT: I'm not starting a God debate. I'm just pointing out that this governor's prayer can be likened to 'hope,' which isn't a wrong thing to do.
  20. Listening to the Age of Empires 2 soundtrack. Heh.

I only need one Emma Watson waiting for me in the afterlife. -romantic smirk- We are even, though. Where's mine? Our score is 1-0 between us... I thought I told you about us meeting up in person so that I could... er, pay you back in my own way.

Rob, your posts make me think of Yanni's Dare to Dream album. Now, the score is like, 1 trillion - 3. I don't throw Yanni compliments around lightly. EDIT: Omar, do you want some compliments, too? :^_^:

Don't know the reference, but I've definitely noticed your posts getting deleted. I actually had you in mind when writing that post. :P
