Right, I'm not disagreeing with that. Just pointing out there there are relationships on RS, quite a few if you count ones that aren't really super serious. I, personally, think they're rather trivial and that someone should focus more on their real life relationships if they're looking for one that will grow into something more.

How would what work? If you mean RS relationships, I've known of plenty. I've seen two people actually get married after meeting through RS.

Hakaan, I have a similar problem with negativity about how I'm doing in a relationship with a girl. I never think things are going well, and because of this I'm always worried. You just have to do your best to shirk the negativity. And if a girl blocks ya, forget them. If they don't like you for who you are, and if they're unwilling to talk with you, then you shouldn't be trying to force it to work. Because that'll make you even more frustrated. Best of luck.

Are the people you play with just friends that you met while playing Halo?

I [bleep]ing hate Jersey Shore. Woke up this morning, my dad needed his car and I was house sitting somewhere else. Drove over as fast as I could, but he had already just decided to take his motorcycle. Found out I was locked out of the house. He told me thanks for bringing the car back, so I thought if I waited long enough, he'd come back home, pick it up, and let me in the house before he went to his meeting. I didn't want to drive the car back to the other house to get my keys, because it'd be a [cabbage] show if he came back to pick up the car and it wasn't there. So I ended up walking all the way back to the other house (my toe was killing me the whole time), found out I was locked out of that house. Called me little sister, who came and let me in cause she was sleeping inside. Finally got home. :\ Was a beautiful morning, though.

Worse than 9/11? *Piercing stare* (From this) Worse than the day Khengus Khan invaded India?! No such worse. D: And it's spelled Genghis Khan... :o

I haven't. :???: :P

The Guild Wars Sountrack, by Jeremy Soule. I love Jeremy's stuff.

Water stuck in my ear. Oh my [bleep]ing gosh... The worst.

Just finished performing surgery on my big toe with a pair of sewing scissors, nail clippers, and an eyebrow plucker (or whatever you call those things). It hurt like hell, and usually doctors give you anesthesia when they rip out your nails, but I'm too [bleep]ing annoyed to try and get a doctor to do it. Hooray for stabbing myself and ripping out my nail. I swear if my toe doesn't heal up, I'm going to freak out. EDIT: nevermind, still going at it, ffs.

Now now, let's not get the military involved in this.

Even better if you find multiple things. For me, I can't longboard during college because 90% of the time, there's snow and rain on the ground. So, during those weeks I'll play Halo: Reach or some other fun xbox360 games. I know for a fact I won't get addicted to those cause I've had the xbox all summer and haven't played it much at all. Either find something you can do all the time (instruments are good, photography, etc), or find multiple things that you can alternate with.

Oh, don't get me wrong, she's not pressuring me at all. It's just kinda what she did (she didn't have kids in college, though) and so she isn't against it, especially if I find my 'one true love,' heh.

Yes. It means people have realized actions speak louder than text on a forum. Or realised it was ridiculously pointless as it wasn't really going anywhere apart from massive walls of text. Isn't that called a debate? I've gotten into a huge debate over free will and predestination with a kid at school over these class forums. It lasted for a month. By that time, I was damn tired of trying to convince him and he was damn tired of trying to convince me. So we just kinda called a truce and stopped posting on the thread. I think that people who assume a lack of response means they won are... not thinking right.

I don't see a problem with that, tbh.

@Gabe: Yah, she's always 'encouraging' me, saying it's okay to get married early if I find the right one. Makes it all the more exciting. I don't think I'd be able to handle the stress of being married and still having to finish school and find a stable job that I like.

He was disappointed about how girls on Runescape a basically not deep and how girls on Runescape aren't deep and won't talk seriously with you (about relationship advice or relationships in general, be it between you and the girl or you and someone else). At least that was the gist of his post, and what I responded to.

Was a never-before-posted picture, and a picture of her hasn't been posted for more than a page (if you don't count you trying to scare me off with the lipstick). Rocco and I are getting better, you have to admit. We're holding back. :P

My mom gets on my back about me being at home all the time, like during the weekends. Frankly, I'm not very close to many of my old high school friends anymore. I really want to hang out with my college friends, which is one reason I can't wait to go back to college. Anyway, my mom always asks me, 'Hey, why don't you go somewhere this weekend? Have some friends over. Why are you home so much?' And I'm like, 1) I have work until 5, and I just want to stay home and relax until I go to sleep 2) I don't know what my friends are up to and don't feel like planning a get together myself 3) I'd much rather go out longboarding by myself than go play COD Zombies for 4 hours at a friends house. And for some reason I get this vibe that my mom wants me to get married early, like, before I even finish college. :s

You want some 'ambiental' music to listen to while you read (I know the genre as post rock): Stars of the Lid; Hammock; God is an Astronaut; Godspeed! You Black Emperor; Yndi Halda; Mono; This Will Destroy you. There's some that I always enjoy doing anything to. Let's your mind wander.

I disagree. Rocco, you da man. And Standard: Your taste seems to have changed, then.

The only classic book assigned to me that I fully read and fully enjoyed (besides Ender's Game) was Catch-22. I dunno what it was, but I just found that book extremely entertaining. Went on a tour with one of the older guys who works in my building. He's super opinionated. Not only that, but he gave me the whole, 'You've got it made, dude. Don't take these opporunities for granted.' And it actually did strike me this time, because I've been given those talks before, but I never really digested it like I did his talk. What a badass.
-
Yes! Now that's what I'm talking about. :)

I'm excited to watch this once I get home. :3 EDIT: I could watch bungie documentaries all day. They make me truly appreciate the Halo games. I wish I would've been a fan all the way through it (too bad my parents wouldn't let me have a game system at all up until college). I also want to do that kinda stuff. I want to design games. :P These documentaries reinforce that.

Much respect, because, no matter how unhealthy McDonalds is, I still say their cheesburgers and fries are the best I've ever had.
