I love riding my longboard, whether it's hot out or not. :) I've been practicing cross-stepping. It's pretty difficult to get the hang of it, but I'm making progress. Since I'm planning on learning a lot more dance moves, I'm going to start getting comfortable with riding switch (I ride goofy atm) and get better balance on my left foot so I can cross-step on both sides (and so I can do a bunch of moves that require being comfortable with both feet). I guess one way of doing this is balancing on my board with my left foot (with the right foot hanging off) so I get used to the feel. Cause I'll tell ya, riding switch feels so weird. Pushing with my right foot and putting pressure with my left is totally out of the ordinary.

Looking someone in the right eye shows you think of them as an equal; looking between their eyes shows you think you are better than them (or not at their eyes, but not downcast); looking between eyes and lips shows romantic interest. Keeping your eyes downcast shows weakness or respect or humility, depending on the situation. Not everybody will notice. Few will, in fact. But it's a useful tool for building relationships. The details are important. That's a lot of analysis. I guess it could be subconscious, but I doubt how accurate that is. Obviously there's some sort of explanation that could be made for each facial feature, but honestly, whenever I decide to think about what I'm looking at on a persons face, I find myself just switching from facial feature to facial feature with no real reason. There could be studies, but at this point, I find it hard to believe there's a correlation between where people look and what they are feeling towards the person (except maybe the feelings associated with no eye contact at all [and maybe looking at the lips]). I could be totally wrong, though. Just seems like a bit too analytical.

True, but it can't be good for you :P

I'm pretty sure there's a difference between looking at their face and their eyes. When most people say it's polite/respectful to look someone in the eyes, I doubt they mean looking straight at someone's eyeballs. It's more of a general, keep your head oriented towards their head. I said this in my last post, but we tend to not focus our eyes on specific facial features; rather, our eyes take in the face as a whole. It's only until you realize you're looking at their face that you go and pick out a specific feature to look at.

Good luck with your liver failure. I know, right? I mean, "a healthy 1-3 beers"? o.O

People who read but don't follow the rythm the sentence should have. Mainly ignoring random commas and periods and screwing up dependent and independent clauses. Personally, when I read, I make sure the sentence sounds understandable, but some people just read and end a sentence on a high note and read the next clause likes it's the end of the sentence, that kind of stuff.

Well duh! :P I doubt the photographer's intent was otherwise. I think she does a dang good job of attracting me. And a big yes to Rachel McAdams.

Photo-editted or not, the picture is still mind boggling. You can't discredit the whole beauty of the photo just because her eyes were enhanced a little, right?

It may just be me, but I've noticed that if I actually start thinking about where I'm looking when I'm making eye contact, I get extremely uncomfortable. It's kinda the same as that, "You are now aware you are breathing" type thing. For me, when this happens, I end up getting anxious because I don't know what eye to look at, or if I should look between their eyes at their nose bridge. Because naturally, I think our eyes don't focus on one part, but on the face in general; once you notice this, you find yourself looking at a specific point on their face, which is kinda weird onze you realize it. I find it terribly hard to keep eye contact with most girls, because the above is running through my head, and also because some of them are just so darn intimidating.

I know what you mean. Especially adults. My first day at my internship was one of the most uncomfortable days of my life because all it was was meeting new important people. Don't get me wrong, once I know a person pretty well, I'm not awkward at all. It's just taking that first step that's difficult. I won't go out of my way to make friends. If that first step isn't necessary or inevitable, I won't likely develop any sort of relationship with that person.

I don't find African American girls attractive. And I don't find Latin American/Hispanic/Mexican girls attractive. I'm hoping with all my being that I have at least one kid (boy or girl) with blonde hair.

I'm easily annoyed by crying babies, no matter what the situation is. And whenever girls accuse me of hating babies, I counter with, "I'll love my babies, whether they cry or not, and that's what matters."

Spent today trying to find these shoes somewhere else, since Vans.com doesn't sell them in a size 12. -.- Also, at my internship, me and my supervisor went out to a meeting in a government car. When we got back, we sat in the car (which continued to run throughout) and she asked me about what her daughter should bring to college since next year will be her first year...for a whole hour. Not complaining, though, cause that's an hour that I'm not in my office trying to look busy, haha.

From DeviantArt again. There are some gorgeous girls on there. Here's another that I found. I think I'm into eyes, tbh. This may be out of place, since this thread is focused on models/celebrities. But I thought I'd share.

I don't know one person that doesn't have access to a camera. I'm picture shy, so I don't need access to a camera, therefore I don't have one. Now you know one person that doesn't. Yeah, I'm really not photogenic. I have a camera, and for display pictures and such, I usually use something a friend took of me while I wasn't paying attention. If I try and pose/fake smile for a picture, I never end up looking good. I can never pose for a picture, it only looks respectable when it's a natural shot. I absolutely hate picture taking. My smile is awful, and I have really sensitive eyes, so I squint. My current facebook picture is one that was taken when I was caught off guard and slightly intoxicated, so my eyes were fully open and my smile was just my mouth open in a kinda [cabbage]-eating grin. Haha. I need to work on a good smile...

So just explain why you read them If someone's going to ridicule you for reading, then that's their problem. I'm not sure they'd believe me. And my explanation isn't very good. Everyone went crazy about them, so I decided to see what the fuss was about. :\ It becomes my problem when I actually care about what a certain person thinks of me.

My guy friend told me it was the chick version of the Hangover. So I thought it was going to be really funny. That was one of the most stupid movies I've ever seen. I only found that sister character (the manly-army girl) funny. Everything else was just, eh. And they tried to make such a raunchy movie end with this serious nice relationship between the girl who sleeps around and a genuinely nice guy. I'd give that movie a whopping 2/10.

This. My guy friends know me better than these girls do. So they know I'm not some emo, vampire lover, hopeless romantic weirdo, even though I read all the Twilight books. I doubt the girls' reaction would be, "Oh, that kid is very confident in himself. Nice." More along the lines of, "You're serious? You read every Twilight book? Why?"
