  1. During freshman year of college, I vented/complained a lot to my roommate (long time high school friend) about how hard a certain long distance friendship with this girl was for me. I really regret that, because now he's getting on my back about not letting this girl prevent me from getting with other girls at college. And I'd rather just deal with it by myself. He just doesn't understand that I'm not one of those "go to a party, hook up with a girl, leave, forget" kinda guys.
  2. I hear it isn't exactly the best to take a shower every single day (or multiple times a day). But the sole reason I feel the need to take a shower in the morning is because my of my bed-head. It's so annoying. Even when I take a shower and scrub the crap outta my hair, when I dry it, it's all poofy and you can still kinda see where it was sticking out.

Getting a good grade on a mid-term is such a great feeling. Well done. Older brother and his girlfriend and her son are visiting my family for two days. Hoping it won't be too awkward. My whole family has met her, but I haven't (stayed at college that weekend). It'll be nice to see him again, though.

I assume you meant public? Unless it was a special "after hours" meeting lmfao. Yes, I meant public. Hahaha.
  5. Horrible Bosses. Such a funny movie. Charlie Day was fantastic.
  6. We aren't super good friends any more since we went to different schools (weren't extremely close to begin with). And, he treated her like [cabbage]. I've always felt like I'd be the kind of guy who would show her what a good relationship is like (and that not all guys are [wagon]). I felt it was wrong at first, too. But things changed, I guess, and he got more out of control.

Leaving work an hour early today because I went to a pubic comment meeting yesterday for an hour after hours. That'll be nice. Also, this Friday is my friday off. I plan on taking this girl out to ice cream since it's her last week of work, and maybe going to some bicycle shops to look around, since she wants to get a bike (everyone makes fun of her cause she doesn't know how to ride one; i know, funny, but hey, instead of riding a bike when she was young, she did horse gymnastics). About a month left before I go back to school, and three weeks until work ends.
  8. My family will be eating dinner together, and my mom will randomly whisper to one of my siblings near her something like, "Pass the salt" or "pass the salad." That's an instance where it's like, why are you whispering. You aren't interrupting anyone...
  9. I can't write in cursive fast enough to make a signature, so I just end up doing a bunch of swirls and loops. Literally, that's what my signature is. :(
  10. You're missing out on a ton. Pop-tarts and cursive? :P
  11. I can only write cursive very slowly, and it's super nice and neat. I only write it when I'm bored as hell and what I'm writing isn't in a hurry to be written. I also press down very hard on the paper when I write cursive. I really don't know why.
  12. I'd rather not risk biting into a lava pastry. Plus, I'm eating pop tarts when I'm on the go. Can't bother to heat.
  13. Makes sense, though I like my interpretation better. I guess I was never a huge fan of pizza, and I used to get really bad stomach aches from the general spices used in pizza. Maybe I like it cold because it tastes less like pizza? :P
  14. QFT My first interpretation of that acronym is "quite [bleep]ing true." :P But really, what does it mean?

Didn't watch it. Is it about her time of the month? >:3
  16. But the rest of the female body you're okay with? Are you okay with things other than sex, i.e. 'making out' and all it's various levels (say, all those levels of fooling around that don't involve a girl with her pants off)? EDIT: I have no idea how old you are... cause if you're like, 14 or 15, yah, you'll learn to be interested.
  17. You physically don't want to have sex (it grosses you out)? Or is it more certain beliefs that cause you to decide not to? Just curious.

Same. Even really gory movies like Saw. Not my kinda thing. I'll only watch a horror film when I'm with a bunch of friends. In that case, I try to make as many jokes throughout the movie as possible. So, I just get a text from a number I didn't have in my phone. The conversation is as follows: Neighbor: "Hey, this is [name]" (he my younger brother's age) Me: "Hey man" Neighbor: "A friend of mine collapsed his lung randomly last night" o.O You went through the trouble to get my number to text me that? :o
  19. Cold pizza is so much more delicious than hot pizza.
  20. My womanizer friend, I guess I should say, kinda surprised all of our group when he went off to college. His reasons from breaking up with girl 2 dealt with him needing to 'grow' (which girl 2 apparently was preventing), and that he didn't want a relationship at that point, since college is a whole new experience. Funny thing is, they both attended the same college. Anyway, he's kinda got into a mess. He's hooked up with a dozen girls and had sex with several (which is a big deal with our group, because we're rather traditional when it comes to actually having sex, and we never thought he'd be the first one to lose his virginity). And he did this all during the period in which girl 2 was still recovering, so it made it worse for her. They're on horrible terms, tbh. I've talked to her about it and she made it clear she was very dissappointed in his actions and didn't want to date a guy like him again. He avoids her (most likely because he took advantage of her being a bit under the influence). My point is, @Sam, he'd be the last one I'd get advice from regarding how to work with her. Haha. But also, @Standard, it's hard to tell if he even cares about her at all anymore, with the way he treated her and is still treating her. Sorry for the lengthy posts. :\ EDIT: But I can totally see why I shouldn't worry about what girl 1 thinks anymore, seeing as eventually it (finding someone else) was going to happen. But I can see her wanting to lecture me about girl 2 and trying to tell me (again) why girl 2 won't be good for me.
  21. When there's a gathering of my friends, say at the movies, I always arrive 10-15 minutes early and sit in my car until I see someone else get arrive. I hate waiting inside alone and whatnot. But I don't want to get there late, because then I might miss them going in, and I'll have to go in alone. When it's not in a public setting, I always try to arrive late enough where I won't be the first person there (because sometimes that's awkward). If for some reason I arrive early, I'll drive around the block until someone else shows up.

I can only eat pancakes with peanut butter smeared on the top and loads of syrup. Just the syrup doesn't cut it. I'd also prefer chocolate chips (yah, I'm like, 10 years old), but I rarely get spoiled with those. And those cookies seriously look so tasty.
  23. So, I dunno if some of you know, but the girl situation I'm in is a bit weird. I probably talked about it a few pages back. But I kinda jumped forward a bit on advice, and now I'm asking for advice on basically the core of my relationship with this girl. I dated, as a senior in high school, a junior in college (girl 1). In the beginning of last November, I broke up with girl 1. This girl happens to be the older sister of one of my best high school buddies. At the time I was dating girl 1, he was dating another girl from my high school (girl 2). I broke up with girl 1 because the long distance thing wasn't working, and I found that many things about her kinda annoyed me. My relationship with girl 1 was very serious, and lasted 11 months. My best buddy broke up with girl 2 at the end of our senior year of high school. His reasons were a combination of his own feelings and the coercion of girl 1 (his sister, my girlfriend at the time). I had always liked girl 2, though I had never been close to her. So it was difficult to hear my girlfriend (girl 1) talk bad about her all the time (which was a quality I found I didn't appreciate in her). I have been (since 8 months ago) and still am head-over-heels for girl 2 now. It's been 9 months since I broke up with girl 1 and longer since my best buddy broke up with girl 2. Am I okay to try to go for girl 2? I mean, all my other buddies who are best buds with this guy say he wouldn't care (he's a real womanizer at college). But my ex (girl 1) despises girl 2. I don't know how long I have to wait. Girl 1 isn't an awful person. So I still care about her. She'd probably take it really hard, thinking that somehow this girl 2 is better than her. But isn't 9 months long enough? At some point, I should be able to tell people that I'm going to hang out with girl 2 without worrying about word getting to girl 1 that I like girl 2. I'm not even sure if girl 1 knows I like girl 2 atm... Yuck.
  24. I'd say maybe 7 or 8. Old enough to know what sandpaper was used for, but young enough to sandpaper something that was already smooth and nicely finished.
