  1. I'm extremely self-conscious about what people think of me (both physically and personality-wise).
  2. ^ I get anxiety so easy. It isn't fun at all. There's situations where I just have to look down at my hands or close my eyes so I can pretend that I don't know what's going on.

    Today...

On week two of the hundred push ups program. I can't seem to get myself to the gym because I hate the environment there, so I'm just doing a little bit of working out in my own room. Second week of classes. Today I TA my first actual lab (last week was an introductory class, meet and greet, explain syllabus).

    Longboarding

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XheNYqZRPnc&feature=channel_video_title If I could drop everything and just longboard for a living (i.e. sponsored by Loaded), I'd do it. Adam Colton, I am so [bleep]ing jealous of you!
  5. 1.98. Get some! You're owning in SWAT.
  6. That brings up something else. Now that I'm not in my own room, I have to stay in bed until my morning wood goes away. :\ Kinda annoying, especially on those days where it just won't.

Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits, and I can't help but noticing that it has the most interesting texture I've ever experienced. You bite down and it's like threads splitting between your teeth. It's like the way salmon comes apart except on a much smaller scale... That definitely doesn't make sense. D: It's super juicy, too.
  8. Maybe you weren't attracted to them because of their differences/the impossibility of the relationship. Maybe you were just looking for someone to get attention from and give attention to. It just so happened that these girls were available and were willing to give you attention for a while. Also, it may take time before differences really emerge as problematic (though religion is, in almost all cases, a big relationship breaker if either person takes it seriously). You both may have thought at first that it wouldn't impact much, but as time went on, you found that it did form barriers. You just have to find a girl who has differences that are 'okay' with you. That's my two cents.

    Today...

I'm actually looking forward to the class, not because I love analyzing poems or writing essays. When the professor had us write down what we hoped to gain from the class, I wrote that I just wanted to do some interesting reading. And so far, it's been interesting. On that note, I also read Euthyphro (part of The Trial and Death of Socrates). I had to reread it to get straight all the weird arguments, but I also enjoyed that one: mostly because it was fun to see Socrates lead Euthyphro into finding the weak spots in Euthyphro's own arguments.

    Nostalgia

Dreams - The Cranberries. Whenever I hear this song, it brings me back to the days when I would go to this park down by the river and play with my siblings (we were around 5 or 6) and my second oldest sister (who was probably 15 at the time). And on our way home, my sister would put this song on (via cassette tape).

Oddly enough, I have to read Frankenstein later this year. The name of my English course is "Secrets and Suffering". Happy, eh?
  13. I'm an [wagon] to a lot of people. Just not straight to them. Me and my friends make fun of people (who definitely don't need to be made fun of) for fun. We don't mean any of it; it's a hobby. But a bad one. :\

    Today...

Read the Rime of the Ancient Mariner for English class today. It was a weird poem, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it a little bit.
  15. What's the point of the afterlife? The point of the afterlife is to fulfill the ultimate human desire of perfect and eternal happiness. And then what? Oh boy, I'm happy forever. That's awesome. My afterlife is full of meaning and purpouse. I'm making a difference in something, right now. Woo. I have no clue why I wrote purpose like I'm British and don't know how to spell. There isn't anything afterwards. Because there's no need for something afterwards. Theoretically, everything would be perfect. The afterlife in itself is the last stage. Of course, you have no idea how it'll be (and neither do I), so of course you'll say "Woo, that's awesome..." sarcastically. But when one does make it there, by definition, they need nothing more than God's love itself.
  16. ^ Yikes. I think the opposite. I don't want to acknowledge the fact that they'll die. I'd rather not have to 'get over' their deaths at all. :\ Plus, I'd want them to see the good that I plan on doing as I keep living (and I want to see the good they'll do while they live).

One of the best parts about baseball, in my opinion. I learned to be a pro-seeder when I played Parks and Rec baseball. There are quite a few tasty flavors out there, too.
  18. Well yes, people attempt to fulfill it through a variety of things (though they never are 'perfectly' happy), which sort of leads to the conclusion that there may be something greater than the things in this world. We should live life for others; we should be making a positive impact on the world. As cliche as the phrase is, we should be making the world a better place; we should leave the world better than it was when we came into it. I guess I could also add that we should be striving to help others to live good lives through action and word. There really was no structure to that post, but eh.
  19. Kung Pow. I watched it with a bunch of friends. It's so stupid and so funny cause of it. I had watched it in middle school with a friend, so it was good to watch it again finally and find it equally as funny. 4/5

Parmesan cheese over pizza adds so much. I realized that I absolutely love shrimp.

    Today...

Did some physics homework, stopped halfway through to take a break. Went longboarding around this little festival that's near my university.
  23. What's the point of the afterlife? What's the point of living? enjoyment This. I also agree. The point of the afterlife is to fulfill the ultimate human desire of perfect and eternal happiness.
