We've been chock full of wars recently & hadn't been to World 141 in a month. Our ops were still logging in, & as we entered CWA, Valhalla meets us & requests a war. I gladly accepted. Started with nearly even ops. We started off with a missile prayer wall & charged VH. After tanking for a few minutes, I was the only one to die, but by then, VH had dropped to three members. Infinite run is banned for the most part in F2P wars; however, users have found a new way of gaining extra run energy: Explorer's ring. This ring, which can be received as a reward by completing the Lumbridge/Draynor Achivement Diary, offers three special features, two of which work on F2P: Cabbage teleport & Run-replenish. When wearing the ring, it gives +1 magic attack bonus & +1 prayer bonus, but that's not what makes it hot. This ring can restore up to 150% of one's energy every day. When used in wars, just like infinite run, this can make wars last many times longer than normal--but it's available to everyone. Is the use of the Explorer's ring fair in wars? Does your clan ban its use?

Now that I think about it, RS2 clans have gone through as many problems as RS-Classic clans. Nice to see Faith's power grow with each picture :)

Logging out on real life solves the problem. For real life meetings, I'm not worried about creepy killers attending. The chances of someone like that in a clan coming to the meeting is slim. Love the 2M video :)

"Call me a person, but don't call me a human." That's their logic. Teams are clans--at least in the gaming world. A group of players that do things together.--Is that the definition for a team or a clan? Both. Teams are an excuse for players to multi-clan, & leaders know that.

Define kill. DS boards are still alive, & that's because DS leaders left it open. Literally, they closed the clan but not the community.

The level lists can't be the same for F2P & P2P because P2P reaches the 138 maximum. In the 3-70 & 71+ zones, the lower leveled PKers (40-50) won't have a chance against the 70's. You can see how we've met a wall there. We'll see how it goes with this, & if level lists are needed, those can be added. Allow "I'm joining DMR" threads?

Death Match Rankings (DMR) sticky: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=751197 Tip.It will soon be hosting a ranking ladder for DMers to compete in. It currently has two lists: F2P & P2P. As you can see, each list contains 100 slots, available to anyone & everyone; this includes hardcore PKers who like BH, stakers (if any are left), pures, average players, et cetera. Judging by the current lists, lower level PKers are at a disadvantage. One solution would be at add multiple lists for each set of levels (3-55,56-75, 75+); however, this causes chaos. If we went along with this plan, a total of six lists would exist: F2P (3-55), F2P (56-75), F2P (75+), P2P (3-80), P2P (81-115), & P2P (115+). Clearly, this is too much. With the current system, it's likely that, in general, the lower sections of the rankings will be filled with lower levels, & as you go up the list, players' levels will raise. As you can already guess, this would mean the list would eventually be dominated by higher levels, so as the lists progress, we will add more rankings to accomodate the lower-leveled players who want a chance for glory. This system isn't completely stable, which is why the DMR is in a beta. The chances of both lists being reset after the beta is remote, but we can't guarantee every player's position secure until the beta is over. Before the DMR proceedes, Tip.It needs to gather input from local or even external users who have an interest in the DMR. So if you are reading this sentence (that means you were concerned enough to read the entire passage), post a message regarding your opinions about the Death Match Rankings.

The DMR is currently in its beta phase. During this time, lists & rules may undergo major changes. Thought it is not likely, this includes possible list resets. New rules have been regaurding rematches have been added, its strongly recommended you go over them. By challenging an opponent via the DMR, you have agreed to all terms and conditions of the specified rules and the rules of the DMR. Shall you breach any side of this contract, 20 points will be deducted, face suspension for up to four weeks, or be be banned from the DMR. How to Declare-DMers are not restricted to only one list. -All death matches must be accepted or declined on this board, but specifics can be discussed elsewhere. -All challenges must be made in the Player vs Player board (the board you are on now). 1. Create a new thread. 2. Add "[DMR]" to the title. 3. In the title, indicate the list in which you plan to participate in. 4. In the title, either indicate who or what levels you are challenging (for example, "[DMR] Challenging levels 110-115). If you are challenging another DMer, one thread per challenge. 5. In the post, it is suggested you include the following information or use this format[b]RuneScape Name:[/b] [b]Participating list:[/b] [b]I Challenge:[/b] [b]Date/Time/World[/b]: [b]Stake (optional)[/b]: [b]Restrictions (optional)[/b]:6. If the challenge is accepted, go fight--don't forget to take a picture of the outcome! 7. The winner must post the results of the death match in a new thread; do not continue the original one. 8. Rules -No picture, no proof -DMers may decline if he or she has DMed in the past week. -All death matches must take place in the Duel Arena, which is located in north-eastern Al Kharid. -Anything goes unless other rules (stakes, fighting styles, et cetera) are agreed upon by both DMers. -If there is a rematch, who ever wins the rematch will be the only person who recieve points. -You cannot receive double points for defeating the same opponent in a rematch. "Junior clan" is a foreign phrase to new clanners. In the early years of RuneScape 2, junior clans thrived. It was common for a top clan to have a junior clan, which added more potential to the clan's base. Reading about junior clans running into each other wasn't uncommon, & sometimes, both the main clan & junior clan PKed as one. But junior clans began disappearing late 2006. Major clans, along with their junior clans, began closing, & thus the fad--if you call it that--died. What happened to the once prosperous junior clans? Why did they all of a sudden die out? Did Jagex's combat with bots contribute, or was it the clan world's fault for once?

We're no longer undefeated. We've recently challenged stronger clans & lost to them, but no problem. The experience was worth it. I can say a lot about Militos Deci. Has an inviting atmosphere, a respectful base, & dedicated staff.

I couldn't agree with you more. You made the right choice, the same one we'll all have to make sooner or later. Our terrible fate--which may not seem so terrible when the time comes.
