Castle Wars - Just a Thought
Get P2P & submit to RSOF if you want it that bad.

Bandos Legion Sig idea
The image is too big to take in. The surrounding black is unnecessary & can be cut off. Font matches well with the background :)

Which clan you belong to?
I'm proud of mine, & so I display it.

NBK's Latest Wars. Caution: Extreme Warfare.

Slow piles at first, but organization picked up. Two weeks prep. Wow; I like the time.

Divine 99 vs. Dawn Circle - 4-Day Skill War
Interesting. Do most skilling clans like competition?

Nice ops Imperial Forces. Moving onto the next round :)

[TCE F2P Full Out] RBH Vs TSL
Congratulations RBH. Didn't know TSL could pull those ops.

TSL vs World 141
I declared on T I T A N S last week but held off until their ml was updated. We've warred T I T A N S in the past & won twice, even with their ops. Organization can beat out numbers.

Will inactivity kill a clan?
The obvious choice may be "yes," but if thinking is done a bit deeper, the answer may be different. Inactivity, along with new leadership, merges, bad members (snowball effect), & lack of communication, can drive a clan to the ground. Despite activity slumps, some clans recover in a week or a month. During inactivity, a leader may prefer to close the clan instead of letting it suffer until it's completely dead. Another leader may try to battle it out by contacting inactives, mass recruiting, or asking friends. Veteran clans don't have this type of problem, but for up & coming clans, with half the memberlist on vacation, activity is the new enemy.

Real life clan meetings
wild_goat :P Wait what? Do you mean to say that visiting Jagex's London office, smoking tea, and getting kicked out of Burger King for public intoxication all in one night is weird? :D None of my clans have ever partaken in a rl meeting, but I think some members who've known each other for a while & live in/near the same city have met up irl before. Didn't WG have one similar to that? Except they got high -.- Real life meetings would be cool, but the closest thing I've ever gotten to real life is webcam+microphone. Four years ago, a person who joined my clan was kicked due to inactivity. When I got into high school, one of my new friends there turned out to be that guy. Man... =D>

How will the new graphics affect the clan world?
Clans may start banning full screen if IRC drops in activity everywhere.
-
Do you remember?
Yes, & I always confused its name with RSD. Do you remember Tip.It in 2004-2005?

[TCE F2P Full Out] SA vs. Ancient Legion
 I thought 1 meant one round. Lovely, thanks for making my day.

How will the new graphics affect the clan world?
IRC+full screen is a problem for clans. But meh, we're not the center of Jagex's concerns. Full screen on minigames gets laggy, & recording makes it even worse. I'll use Safe Mode & Low Detail for wars.

VVV's Monster hunter Gallery
My clan will start GWD soon. This makes me a little more eager.

Do you remember?
Never heard of Jajaunit. Do you remember DS vs. DI?

The Real Life Factor
It's idiotic to you because that's how you think. As you said, an ultimate geek (however you may title someone that), will think differently & be on the other end of the rope, thinking a game is life, therefore spending the majority of his or her time playing it--or should I say, living it. i think thats a pretty good outlook - i mean we play runescape to escape real life - so at some point we're bound to put it first I remember the news item on the RuneScape news talking about people in third-world countries working in sweat shops to play RuneScape for hardly any money. That's a completely different situation, even though it's extreme & exotic, yet it still fits in. While others play to relieve stress, some don't. For example, some clan leaders & devoted clan members are active in-game because they see it as their "job." Most parents would laugh at that.

VVV V Ancient Blood
Numbers & levels were even, so it came down to organization. Good job 3V.

Ranking system for PVP board
So how many different lists are we looking at? This is my version of Lordofrah1's post: F2P: Level 3 - 55 Level 56 - 75 Level 75+ P2P: Level 3 - 80 Level 81 - 115 Level 115+ This way, pures & main accounts can participate, so neither group is discriminated. In my opinion, this still doesn't look fair. EDIT: Changed to skatedog's suggestion.

RuneScape Board Clans & their Stereotypes
RSB clans are generally looked down upon because of their alleged lack of organization (no forums, IRC, or fansite). Usually, in the "real" clan world, when one hears of an RSB clan, one laughs. Are the stereotypes true about RSB clans? Are they really that bad? Has your clan ever fought an RSB clan, & if so, were they organized at all?
