I agree with the last two, but was the bad spelling just a cheap shot a Bufo? I don't think it was. You have probably seen the clan leaders out there who talk like dis all da time and itz cuz they think itz sooo kewl. Who would respect that? I give Bufo some credit for at least trying to fix his problem. Now about my profanity comment. WHen I said profanity, I meant offensive or excessive profanity. Throwing in a word every so often doesn't hurt; it actually helps loosen up situations a bit. But when a clan leader start cussing out his or her members or uses too much profanity on a daily basis, that's just wrong.

Qualities: Assertive, enforces rules, active, hard working, determined, respect. Faults: Laziness, disrespect, profanity.

Would you give up hours of your free time (ex: going out with friends) just to grab that little extra achievement? - All ambitious leaders must do so. Would you skip work/school some days for your clan? - I wouldn't skip, no. It's best to spread out leadership among different time zones so at all times, staff are working. Would you go to a war/pkri rather than going out with your family? - It depends. Family reunion versus clan war? I'd go with the family reunion. Vacation in the Phillippines & Thailand for six weeks versus clan work? I'd go with clan work. But that's just me.

Of all time? Even though DS got number one spot, that doesn't mean they were the number one clan of all time.

You wouldn't see many 15+ year olds playing. Personally, I wouldn't be playing.

Great community, first of all. The atmosphere must be comfortable for all. Leadership also plays a big role; newbie leaders have some experience to gain before being able to create a stable clan. Then comes members, the meat of the clan. Fun members, serious members, laid-back members, they all are important in creating the atmosphere. Events are a necessity, too. They should deal with what type of clan it is, & fun events need to be scheduled to have everyone relax. Discipline, loyalty, rules, enforcements of rules, ranks, these all count too.

Maybe you don't know us, but the only person who I can say that doesn't know a great deal about the "real clan world" has just retired. I'm not trying to offend him, but it's not his fault Bufoman wasn't introduced to the clan world when he became a Clan Moderator (at the time he became a moderator, clans had left Tip.It.) As for Das, I can safely say he's a clan world veteran. As for me, I started in 2001 but didn't get clan oriented until 2005. I favor the older lot (DI, 'THE', RSD, etc.) & so I don't keep up with the fairly new clans. But I do know about them, don't be mistaken. Das was in Wanderers & was leader of KoFH, which received a reputation on DI boards a fair deal back. While I currently lead an old, but semi-out-of-the-clan-world clan. Ouch :| Those times are now over, & we can indeed prove it. Flaming is all part of the clan world, as far as I see it, & threads will not be locked just because of some put-downs.

There's a noticable difference between teenagers & adults (in real life), & when it comes to clans that difference matters. Teenage clans are usually made up of 13-18 year olds & adult clans usually have people who are at least 18 years of age. Naturally, adults have more experience. Not only that, but their brains are more developed & have more knowledge than the average teenager. Over the years, I've noticed a big difference between the two types: adult clans are much more organized & flame wars are close to non-existent. Overall, these clans have much more quality. Then comes along the more abundant teenage clan. Usually messy at first, poor leadership experience, & quality is low. Over time, things pick up & become better. Their structure can match or even bypass an adult clan, if given enough time. The real question is, do clans that are lead by adults have better overall performance compared to clans which are lead by teens?

*-P.K.M-* started massing, but we didn't have enough ops to make a decent trip. One of my members asked if Militos Deci could come along. They reinforced a lot. Towards the end of the trip, we tried our luck on one of the PK worlds JAGeX set. Did great :) We ran into a small team made up of some EI & quickly KOed the first. *-P.K.M-* + MD start: 36 ops Team start: 15 *-P.K.M-* + MD end: 36 ops Team end: 6 (Walked) Just wanted to say it was great PKing with you MD.

You had EH way outleveled & outnumbered. Nevertheless, congratulations on the win.

Happy you posted this :) I believe this is to gather background information to aid JAGeX in creating more Clan Support. More Clan Support may be the new, big updates that will happen next year--maybe even late this year.

You can make rules, I don't see why not.
