It's too bad we're only 3 episodes in. Amon's backstory sounds so juicy. It's fridge brilliance when it mentions he used to live on a farm. A lot of communist leaders (yes, the whole series relates to the 20's and the Equalists seem to represent the communists) lived simple farm lives before becoming influential people. Amon's story is ambiguous, but damn, he has more depth than Ozai.

Banned because it is of the Avatar (not the terrible movie) franchise, so it must be awesome.

What's worse is that he probably knows it will happen and will cause unfortunate implications when the power struggle causes harm to the citizens in the areas the triad has influence over. Knowing Amon, he likely wants it to happen so he will have more followers and new scapegoats to show "bending is bad and causes all this bad shit".

Banned for reading this in Amon's voice (unless you never saw Legend of Korra, then you suck).

I just hope it isn't too focused on the Equalists. I want to see some focus on life in Republic City and Korra getting to do the airbendy thing. EDIT: "Hello, Ambler. I know who you are." ^Anyone who has seen LoK read that in his voice. Also, I just realized: When Amon de-bended Zolt, he caused instability in the Triad and it will cause a political power struggle in their ranks.

I noticed there hasn't been a post here in awhile, but I have one thing to say about Episode 3 today. Jesus Christ, Amon. How can someone with no powers be scarier than Ozai? :shock:

It was worse when he was de-bending the other two triad members in the background while Bolin was being saved. I know the Triad is full of jerks, but taking out the leader just to cement how bad Amon is... god, he makes Ozai look nice. I've never been more terrified of a fictional character in my life. :ohnoes:

Oh god, cowbending is amazing. I swear it's like the milk moves around out of the beast and floods the cereal. And don't get me started on the delicious beef! TNPW will post a meme pic involving Korra AND YOU GOTTA DEAL WITH IT!

But he is freaking scary of an enemy despite being a badass normal. Yep. I was just squeeing over their choice of voice actors. The dragon is Lance Henriksen as well :lol: I hope Amon and Korra engage in lots of Foe Yay. Yet she seems to be the most energetic character in the show second to Ikki. :lol: Trying to find a good Korra image to use as a siggy.
