After reading the first article, I am even gladder about my decision to retire. Thanks, now I can refer to that article whenever I feel the need to log on. As for personal opinions, the statistics on who is investing and how much, along with the other history seems to explain why I haven't enjoyed the game in the last few months because it seemed to have been losing its air of unique identity. I just loved the third article the most. The writing style pulled me in and mentioned an issue (a personal one for me) about the game in terms of enjoyment.

I was thinking of redrawing it so it's a full portrait, adding in sides like a few of my own characters from a story I am brainstorming (which is almost as weird). Since a friend invited me to her 16th, she'd probably get one huge kick out of it if I made something that screams cuckoolandian widget.

Since I have nothing to do on a Sunday, I am basically stuck doodling. Given the weird array of things I end up drawing out of impulse, I question if these doodles make good psychological portraits of who I am. For the record, I was thinking of posting a few of these doodles at one point to give a clear idea.

While letting my mind wander on paper (read: doodling), I noticed one of the images was of a phoenix sporting sunglasses, a french mustache + beard, and was wielding a chainsaw. What the hell goes on in my mind?

Granted, now you are too aware and your brain keeps prioritizing the insignificant details over the major ones. You can paint the leaves and the trees, but never can tell what a forest looks like anymore. I wish I was switched to the opposite gender.

All. The. Freaking. Time. I try telling myself "just 5 minutes", "just this bit", "only for this activity and done" and it goes into several hours of wandering wikis, posting on forums, and just doing shenanigans, but in the late night hours. :wall:

Granted. You can't shut it off, the voices are very loud, and you find they're scatterbrained coalition of words and bits that make no sense. I wish my earphones weren't on the verge of dying.

It's a spinoff miniseries of the original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's set 70 years after the series finale of the previous show and it revolves around the new avatar. Due to plot demands, she had the talent to do water, earth ,and firebending before she was eight or recognized as the Avatar. With only one element left to master, she has to learn the spiritual aspects of her position while handling the increasing instability within Republic City. I love how it still manages its quirky humor style that it was known for, and the numerous callbacks. Remember to watch ATLA entirely so you can get the jokes in the new series.
