Apparently, there's a piece of content yet to be discovered now and hasn't been since December 2012, but it has been released. The Ga'al *can* be found walking around Gielinor AFTER the brink of extinction, but you need to meet certain requirements. Why is this related? Because he's the only one able to interpret the last piece of info you can get through that elder library. This reminds me that the huge tok-haar from that quest also says that all current gods aren't actual gods, rather "corporeal beings that abused the use of elder objects", so it is safe to asume the only true gods are the elder gods. Well, natural laws seem to change between the planes in Runescape (sound and light working differently, bleeding walls, etc...), but then again, Runescape has magic lol... Guess we'll never know but they do heavily imply the use of other "dimensions" altho they might aswell just mean a different universe (people oblivious to string theory simply say other "dimensions", and don't realize this is an escalating therm).

May I suggest you consider the idea of looking at a universe as a "plane" of existence with its own natural "rules", and compare it to a multiverse, where there might be other universes with different rules? Now that I think, some quest actually says the player was born during the 5th age (lunar series I think?). Perhaps if Guthix was the remaining parent. However, Seren is still around, and that type of revelation seems more like the work of a mother, or in this case, the maternal ancestor.

So you're saying the player is the descendant of the daughter/son Guthix and Seren assumedly had? That... makes a lot of sense actually. Either a decendant, or Guthix and Seren's actual child. Who knows how long there child could live for being born from two God's union, we'd pretty much be immortal/ageless. Perhaps our destiny is to complete the work that our father started, banish all God's from runescape with new edicts, but because we don't know we're Gods no-one would follow us blindly and therefore worship us thus ending the reign of 'God's' in runescape. The 'God's' is in reference to the type that are worshipped, which we wouldn't be. Even though we'd have Godly dormant powers to protect runescape for future ages. I went with descendant mostly because the player is stated to be mortal (and even human)... Also because the player's conception would have to happen relatively soon when compared to 5 ages (now 6), and that doesn't seem possible when one of the parents is well... sleeping. I highly doubt the player would've survived thousands of year keeping his godhood unnoticed, especially if you're the son/daugther of Guthix and Seren. HOWEVER, the player's origin has always been a vague topic. We just know that the player is relatively young, but still older than characters who appear to be in their early 20s; some people say the player is 25, others go as high as 30. At least we now know that the player has some connection with Guthix, and that he's basically a godslayer. Perhaps the final revelation would be that the player is indeed a god with no memory of his/her past, and he/she must leave Gielenor eventually.

I see I'm not the only one who thought this. Nothing but a hunch right now, but still... Edit: nvm just read the complete memories lol... So Saradomin is actually older than Guthix? Kind of ironic how the most worshipped god is the god who's past we know the less about...

So this means some sets will have a fixed type, or we'll be given the option, if we already have a piece of armor, to change it to what type we want when this goes live?

Anyone who played the series back in the 90s still around? I've been playing the online version for a while now, still on beta but it looks really promising so far. They kept all of the designs from the original series and added a few more. I'm actually surprised the game has a relatively small playerbase so I guess it doesn't hurt letting people know about it. Killed automaton tracers for an hour. Seems like a steady 110 kills/hour with maul + titan + dreads, altho I was slacking a lot, no food needed, just ss, run when they start hitting ground and charge back and you should be fine. Can't wait to get 50-ish more plates from last story mission for tetsu top, I see me camping these in between dungs and ports now lol.

Saradomin is the first in my agenda. I can't stand his and his followers condescending behaviour. He reminds me of the typical double-faced "good guy" who simply wants to achieve his own prejudged definition of "order" or "what is right", ignoring any sort of external influence. He's all "this is right because I say so" and will do ANYTHING to achieve it. That is worse than the methods of other gods, they're honest in their intentions and nature at least. He'll always be a manipulative coward, and I hope he dies like a coward, which is very possible considering recent events in Gielenor. I also hate how he manipulates Armadyl and the aviantese with empty promises, not to forget he has gone as far as betraying them more than a couple of times, basically taking advantage of their kind nature...
