Nothing wrong with being infatuated or falling in love as long as you don't make stupid decisions based on those feelings. That balance has always been hard for me

Hitting it off with a girl I've been seeing lately. Trying to avoid the infatuation phase at all costs.

Yeah but then you have to live in Estonia Wait, Saq lives in Estonia??I feel like we go through this weekly.
  13. If the US went scorched earth on Syria last summer it would be run by ISIS right now Point wasn't that the U.S. should've gone scorched earth, it was that the U.S. could've had any response up to and including scorched earth to cover for the "red line" remark, and the international community wouldn't have been phased by it (Oh, well Obama did warn them not to use chemical weapons). The President of the United States doesn't need to bluff; he's got the entire deck. So he's supposed to be perfect? He's a human being. We bluff everyday.
  14. Agree wholeheartedly with that second paragraph ^^
  15. Syria was an easy example. I also seem to remember Obama telling Putin's aide that after the election he'd have more "flexibility." Put everything together and if I'm Putin, I'm not worried about the United States right now. He doesn't need to be. I don't want other countries to fear us. I'm tired of that..

  18. The general perception of the United States around the world isn't exactly the best. And yet, the U.S. repeatedly attempted to help countries whether it be with aid or with soldiers. The U.S. just can't win in the public eye. Sit back and they're criticized for not helping, push the issue and they're criticized for getting in the way of other's business.
  19. You know that won't last ;)

Not asking for proof, just trying to wrap my head around something I have no experience with. I don't have many friends circa age 20 that haven't been with either a man or woman intimately/romantically. Tbh I can't fathom being your position.

So I guess the question in my head is.. Why not try? What's the worst case scenario? I mean be it men/women or whatever.
