if that headset works with like a house phone or cell phone then it will work with the xbox

does it have a lot of open space around it? and does the power supply box with the orange and green light have lots of space to get air?

uh! 1 you can use xbox headsets with the 360 you just wont have volume or mute controls, 2 you dont need a headset thats for xbox any phone headset with the right jack on it will work, or my fav 3 take your xbox360 headset and make it into a input jack for any headset that worked with the xbox that way you can still use your old headsets and also have mute and volume controls the original xbox headsets used the xbox converter thing that plugged in above the memory card slot on the controller it is the same thing as the thing on the send of the official 360 headset just not as big and doesn't convert the sound input into the memory card port i used a normal xbox headset with my 360 for months almost a year before the wireless came out, and it work with zero problems what so ever

if your xbox is out of warranty, and it it was me i would take it apart and clean out the dust that will helps, and make sure it is sitting in a very open area not some little hole on the tv stand

build your own pc it will be much cheaper

well to make sure its working right click on computer and go to properties if the number has changed from what it was before to something new now then its in and working if you didnt put it in right the comp most likely wouldnt have booted

i dont see y it would slow it down at all, since its a fresh install and your mostlikly not partitioning the harddrive, even if you did partition that would effect the speed

its worth having without a 360 there at still lots of good games for xbox that ppl still play but if you get the 360 you will be opened to more played games with more ppl but it is still worth getting if you dont have a 360

ok well since im on linux and i dont wanna go into making client in c++, or anything else cuz im lazy, i just made a simple one for html, since i been using tiko to play rs, but im sick of using it so i did this ok well i have a weird this going on when i click the button "RuneScape" it opens a new popup from the rs.html posted after the one below, the title is all werid and i just want it to say RuneScape like i have it set to but it wont if im connect right to a world it show just RuneScape as the title but not when its setup to go to runescape.com so what i want is some help to fix the issue and just to make the title RuneScape instead of the long one that it is this is the html it opens when the runescape button is clicked RuneScape note for anyone that wants to use this you will have to change the /home/tom/Desktop/client/RS.htm to the parth that your html file will be

im thinking doing that towel trick will probably void my warranty so im not going to try it/quote] as fare as i know doing the towel thing wont void your warranty since your not talking it apart in anyway, all you do is wrap it with a towel turn it on for few mins turn off let it cool down so the glue remelts and that does not void the warranty in anyway at all, how take your 360 apart complete like i did when i painted it that voids it

turn it off let it off for a while then turn it back on my 360 is from launch and i never once got the red lights its mostlikly the glue on the cpu, so look on youtube for the towel fix and it should work fine and for the ppl that say ps3 is more reliable you have no clue what your talking about, since the ps3 has much more bugs at lunch then the 360 ever did, its lame online play wasnt up and running fully, live was up for years, more games for the 360, all the games that are for both the 360 and ps3 that arnt out already wont be out for about a year or less, ant its 600$ not worth it when you can pay 400$ for a 360 thats 100% more reliable in ever field

i rarly ever read books lucky if i read 1 every 5 years, but this isnt really sci-fi, but its a really good book kite runner, its kinda rough in some parts but most ppl might be able to handle it

i use ubuntu 7.04 also, and most likle you dont have the plugin setup right so go to where ever you installed the java too and navigate in to find the lib file, should be somthing like this plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so thenn terminal and put this command in sudo chmod a+w+x /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins then run this command and make sure you have the right dirct of where you installed the java at ln -s /*PUT YOUR DIRCT HERE*/jre1.6.0_01/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so also i assumed you are using jre 1.6.0 update 1 let me know if that helps
