I have made a little bit of bread in the past.. I used to have the starter for sour dough bread, and it was extremely good bread. I really didn't like it toasted, but on like a sandwich or just butter it was really good. Sadly the starter is dead, and it is a pain to re-make. Having an off-class helm honestly should lower your accuracy, but I don't think gloves/boots should affect accuracy.

You would be better off ranging with a royal crossbow since the 2h melee thresholds are really bad.
